Welcome everyone! I'm starting the thread early because I have to be up and out of the house at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning.

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your starting weight

If you don't want to put your weight on the public spreadsheet, you can enter it on the weight tracker. (This probably won't be available until tomorrow morning)

If you've joined up very recently, and your name isn't on the spreadsheet, just add it on at the bottom - the very lovely SayraT will re-alphabetize everything later.

Well done everyone!

B - bacon, mushroom and scrambled eggs
L - salad with steak
D - burgers, green cabbage, red cabbage
S - pork scratching, cheese/butter/marmite melt

Figrus · 02/10/2014 20:24

B: greek yogurt and olives
L: egg, rasher, cheese, spinach, rocket, scallion , tomatoes in Caesar salad dressing (

ChesterDrawers · 02/10/2014 20:43

Thanks for that Pisses, you make a lot of sense. I know I am guilty of thinking of dairy as free, even though I am trying to keep it to a minimum. I will really make a conscious effort to do without as best as I can and see what effect that has.

Pisseslikeahorse · 02/10/2014 20:51

DW just called me a meanie... Grin

ChesterDrawers · 02/10/2014 20:55

Ha ha, a much under-used slight Grin

Hobbes8 · 02/10/2014 21:04

Thanks biggeryellowtaxi - I love dill!

I've been a bit confused about dairy as well - I understood it had to be restricted, but lots of the recipes have yogurt, cream or cheese in them.

Username12345 · 02/10/2014 21:08

Oh dear. Think this week is going to be a flop on the scales for me Confused

Plus I've been invited over to some friends this weekend who love their carbs.

SayraT · 02/10/2014 21:08

Good day water and exercise-wise, food not too bad either except not enough veggies (again).

B: Pork sausages, coffee with cream
L: Pork shoulder steak, celeriac, broccoli
D: Pork shoulder steak, tin of mackerel
S: Two hard boiled eggs, cucumber

BIWI · 02/10/2014 21:08

Dairy is something that a lot of people have a problem with - but you won't know until you try, IYSWIM! It is a good way of getting fat into the diet, and - let's face it - cheese and cream makes things taste extra yummy.

But, like everything else, it's wise not to go mad with it.

It isn't forbidden on Bootcamp. I just counsel you to be careful with it.

So now I'm hoping there's not too much dairy in my diet! A fun day that was the first time I've really quite fancied a gin at the end of it! However, guns have been stuck to strictly.

B1: total with cream and vanilla (it's quick and good and I need it on a morning)
B2: boiled egg with mayo (in work), babybel
L: Chinese pork belly, olives, salad with Caesar dressing
S: boiled egg with Mayo, avacodo
T: chicken thighs in cream, mushroom and bacon sauce with baby leeks

W: 3ltrs but I lost count at that point
Tea x 1 Black coffee x2

Looking at that, I'll skip the babybel tomorrow (it was an emergency!), try and get some more butter in and maybe try a BPC.

spamm · 02/10/2014 21:35

Crappy day (week) at work - technical term of course - and I do not know how I have stayed away from bad food today, but so far I have been successful. It was Sport Jerseys and Pizza at work today, but I had my leftover hamburgers and coleslaw instead. The smell of leftover pizza is killing me every time I go to the kitchen to fill my water!

So far today:
B: Mushrooms and a cheese stcik (did not manage to do the egg befor ei had to take ds to school and head to work
L: 2 small beef burgers with broccoli slaw - my favorite coleslaw (dressing

CharlieSierra · 02/10/2014 21:44

I weighed myself this morning and had dropped 6lbs, which clearly isn't possible since Tuesday so I must have done it wrong last time. I'm going to amend my starting weight by a few lbs.

B - total with cinnamon
L - leftover moussaka meatballs, green salad, garlic yogurt
D - cottage pie with cauliflower cheese topping

W- 2ltr ( I'm trying and improving)

2 filter coffees with a splash of almond milk (0.1 carbs per 100ml)
2 cups of tea (same)

SayraT · 02/10/2014 21:46

Charlie it is possible so just leave your start weight, just be aware that next week, and the ones after that you might not have such a good weight loss.

You will have lost water and glycogen from your liver...I think thats right anyway.

readyforno2 · 02/10/2014 22:01

ConfusedConfusedConfused
I've put on 0.4lb! I last weighed on Thursday last week.
Think I'm going to cut out dairy for the next week to try to give myself a wee boost.
I'm struggling a bit with this bootcamp as I haven't really stopped this woe since the May bootcamp and haven't been eating breakfast.
Wedding is 5 weeks on Saturday..

BIWI · 02/10/2014 22:03

ready - don't panic! 0.4lbs is nothing! You could have a big wee and get rid of that much!

List out for me what you've been eating/drinking and let me see if I can help with anything

CharlieSierra · 02/10/2014 22:08

Ok, I will leave it, thanks.

readyforno2 · 02/10/2014 22:26

Ok..
Monday
B- scrambled eggs with butter and cream and cheese. Mushrooms
L- chicken breast with fried broccoli
D - 2 chicken thigh stuffed with Philly, wrapped in streaky bacon
S - ff yog with cinnamon

At least 7 pints water. Maybe 2 coffee with cream

Tues
B- scrambled egg butter and cream
L - chicken thigh fried in butter with garlic and herbs, salad
D - courgette lasagne. Homemade Bolognese with Philly and double cream instead of cheese sauce
S- ff yog with cinnamon and double cream.
Around the same amount of water, coffee etc

Wed
B - ff yog with cream
L - leftover courgette lasagne, salad
D- omelette with bacon, shallots, mushrooms and cheese

Same water if not more. Also went to aerobics.

Thursday
B - ff yog
L- smoked salmon salad with mayo
D - gammon, mashed swede and creamy leeks.
No snacks.
Maybe 7 pints of water and 2 coffee.
I've been at the personal trainer tonight. Worked my ass off!

I should probably add that I am one pound away from having lost 6 stone since January and realise it's not going to be as easy now as it wasn't the beginning. It's just disheartening.
Also, really sorry for the essay ere BIWI Blush

MoJangled · 02/10/2014 22:49

B: Total, cream, cinnamon
L: a 3 hr intermittent graze of chicken thigh, cucumber sticks, sliced ham, chunk of cheddar, celery dipped in double cream (that sort of day)
D: cauliflower 'couscous', lamb meat balls fried in butter, spicy veg sauce (onion, aubergine, courgette, tomato, chilli in olive oil)

Going to have to get a grip on quantities, I'm overcompensating for getting back on the wagon, even though I like being on the wagon

aNoteToFollowSo · 02/10/2014 23:02

Not quite sure how to characterise today. 'Twas good in that I didn't eat anything I shouldn't, except for a forkful of rice when I tested whether the DC's rice was ready before remembering that I am LCing. And I did have lots of lemon juice - hard to have fish without it. I used up the juice of about one and half lemons on the fish, and on the roasted cauli.

But I am a bit dismayed at the injuctions against too much dairy. And er, the ones about stuffing one's face …. I am like a deprived child in a sweet shop with all this cream and other fat. In particular, I have discovered a particularly delicious double cream (you know the kind where the spoon stands up in it) and I did resort to a spoonful or two straight out of the tub Blush. Bloody delicious though with a bit of cinnamon …what's not to like .

I'm also finding myself peckish at about 5 so I snack. But then am too full for supper at 7. In general I am still snacking but so much less than usual and only on Bootcamp food.

b: avocado with lemon juice
l: roasted cauliflower, smoked mackerel pate with cream, lettuce
s: wasn't hungry. I know it violates the rules but it seemed so daft to stuff food into my mouth that I actively didn't want.

snacks: loads. double cream, lots of smoked mackerel bits

PseudoBadger · 02/10/2014 23:21

Evening all.
Breakfast 100g Total, 1 boiled egg with butter
Lunch Hot smoked salmon mashed with mayo, lettuce, cucumber, a few cherry tomatoes
Snack olives, salami slices
Dinner garlic chicken thighs, cabbage, broccoli

googoogoggles · 02/10/2014 23:31

Yay! Done another day!
Food easy, water not so good as I was working in a library where no water's allowed (and was there til late)
Lunch was chicken and salad bar
Dinner was x3 (heck ) sausages (as 97% pork) and cauli mash with butter
Didn't snack today (hv had celery with bit of pate or philly over last : days or a hard boiled egg but that's prob due to location rather than willpower. Often find myself peering expectantly into the fridge at odd moments when I'm working at home without being fully aware of deciding to walk over to it...
Very troubling!

gointothewoods · 03/10/2014 00:21

Hi all, love reading the menus!
For me today was great considering I had book club and managed to avoid choc birthday cake for 1 member and the various crisps/ hummus etc that were on hand.
B: Bacon and fried eggs, black coffee x 2
L: Lettuce, spring onion, tomato, cucumber, pepperoni and avocado salad
D: Leftover roast duck with leftover sprout/ chorizo/ shallot/ garlic bake
S: Carrot and celery sticks, teeny bit of sundried tomato pesto, 1 glass of prosecco in honour of birthday girl, tons of sparkling water. NO CAKE.
Do I get the stick? Blush

ChesterDrawers · 03/10/2014 06:53

Tricky day ahead. I don't work Fridays so meet up with friends which usually involves cake of some sort. I won't give in though, but see it as my first test. Always find it harder to drink my water when I'm away from my desk too. But I am in the zone so will not give in.

Plan is:
B: scrambled eggs x3, lots of butter (to keep me full for the day)
L: will be out so not a lot, will have something when I get in, probs BCP and some yogurt
D: salmon wrapped in Parma ham, asparagus fried in butter, garlicky leeks

SayraT · 03/10/2014 06:58

ready 6 stone since January! That is incredible, huge well done!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 03/10/2014 07:05

Ready That's amazing!! How fabulous - and please don't be disheartened, not now, every step however small they may be now just all add together. You are awesome!

Morning Brew

Going well here, although has anyone else noticed they have become incredibly sensitive to things like salt quantities in food? Had low carb sausages last night, and they were so salty, really not nice.
