Welcome everyone! I'm starting the thread early because I have to be up and out of the house at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning.

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your starting weight

If you don't want to put your weight on the public spreadsheet, you can enter it on the weight tracker. (This probably won't be available until tomorrow morning)

If you've joined up very recently, and your name isn't on the spreadsheet, just add it on at the bottom - the very lovely SayraT will re-alphabetize everything later.

Rybka....how.....????

MrsGuyMartin · 01/10/2014 11:36

Crabby we all loved the FFF! Although next time I'll buy the less spicy chorizo as DS1 said it made his mouth 'fizzy'. And it must be an excellent flan as I've lost another 1lb this morning.

rybka13 · 01/10/2014 12:20

Easily MoJangled, easily...you just put one plastic bag touching electric hob then switch it with another.

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 01/10/2014 12:22

The FFF sounds really delicious - will be giving that a try after my next shopping trip

I'm making 'Bolognese' for tea tonight minced beef, chopped tomatoes, a small onion (not sure if it's really allowed or not!), loads of sliced mushrooms and courgettes

DH and DD will have it theirs with pasta but I think I'm going to have mine with chopped up cauliflower

Only managed to have coffee for breakfast as the nurse came with my intralipid infusion very early this morning so I've had a big brunch of mushroom omelette made with double cream and butter with 4 slices of really crispy streaky bacon Grin

MyDirtyHarry · 01/10/2014 13:34

Hi, am feeling pretty good and perky, not hungry, not incredibly interested in eating anything really. Yesterday and today's food:

B - butter coffee and eggs
L - Roast chicken leg skin on, mayo, lettuce, cucumber
D - lamb tikka, mushroom, spinach
S - couple of slices of butter!
W - 5 pints, two black coffees

today:
B - butter coffee and eggs
L - bacon, mayo, lettuce, cucumber
D - probably some sort of combination of belly pork and aubergine
S - coyo yogurt; admittedly about 5% carbs so not below 3%, but its beautiful and not sweet, but must not have another one... no no no.

Will read through thread later. Have a good day all.

BIWI · 01/10/2014 13:38

Onion is a bit carby - use shallots instead (3.3g per 100g compared with 7.9g per 100g)

Hi everyone. Today is my day off work and I met a friend for coffee - I just had an Americano coffee & no cake! [proud] also received a really stressful phone call, but instead of reaching for the chocolate I had a fruit tea (Taylors sweet rhubarb, would recommend, it's felt like a lovely treat)

Food wise...
B: reheated leftover roast lamb with mayonnaise & cucumber
L: scrambled eggs & smoked salmon (what veg would people have with this? I couldn't think of anything that went...)
D will be: pork belly slices & cauliflower

I've lost 2.2lbs so far, and - touch wood - no carb flu in sight Grin feel super tired but I think that's just my life rather than the food!!

spamm · 01/10/2014 14:42

I worked hard on a fab dinner last night, and it was such a disappointment - made home made broccoli rabe pesto, with Italian sausage and pasta for DH and courgetti for me. The pesto was delicious, but the sausage was rank - I guess it had been in the freezer too long, or something, but it tasted foul. So threw it away and had courgetti and cream.

Anyway, 1 lb down, sloshing in water.

Today:
B: Mushrooms and courgettes for breakfast - fried in butter. No time for an egg before my ride came.
L: Salady thing when I can go and pick something up
D: Home made cheese burgers with fried mushrooms and salad

Keep t up everybody!

BitchyTakesOnManagement · 01/10/2014 15:11

After spending a night staring at the ceiling today was never going to be a great day, but there was no snacking in the middle of the night - wasn't hungry and so far (with the exception of a couple of extra coffees) there has been no falling off the wagon.

B: 3 eggs scrambled plus 2 sausages

L: will be broccoli cheese
T: will be very late but will be left over chicken and veg

Not drunk enough water but that is not surprising considering I spent so long asleep. Will try to up this significantly in the remainder of the day as not even managed an entire 1ltr yet. Which is most disappointing as I managed to drink 4.5 ltrs yesterday without even thinking about it.

MrsHerculePoirot · 01/10/2014 15:54

Thanks crabby! It is good to be back, I shall be making that this weekend I reckon!

CQ sorry to hear about your friend and a MASSIVE well done for not falling face first into carbs.

I have so far stayed on the straight and narrow, although I am still at the stage of stuffing my face (all low carb) - I know from experience though that is what I need to do for a few days, then my body is back on track again!

MoJangled · 01/10/2014 16:50

Rybka Grin

Bettertogether celery and cucumber sticks go with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs (to me, anyway)

Today
B: the statutory fried eggs and bacon, coffee with double cream
L: rocket, avocado, cucumber, prawns, homemade mayo, olive oil
D: Will be sauerkraut with pork chops
S: spoonfuls of butter
W: 2.5 l so far
E: none so grumpy

Feeling a bit glooped out by the mayo and oil, hope my liver is going to keep cooperating...

CQ · 01/10/2014 16:53

Thanks MrsHercule

I know what you meant about stuffing your face to start with. I do the same and am amazed that I can still lose weight.

Tummy already looking flatter. But I have a headache. More water. Am craving pork scratchings and have just added a load to my Ocado order coming tomorrow!

BIWI · 01/10/2014 17:02

If you have a headache, it could be the sign of carb flu. Along with water, make sure you're eating enough salt.

Figrus · 01/10/2014 17:10

I'm Bloated and it is not the time of the month?

B: egg and 2 rashers
L: homemade coleslaw, 100g tofu
D: stirfry, leek in creme fraich sauce
Snack: olives and maybe smoked salmon later if hungry
Exercise: 1 hr cycle
Water: will meet 3.5 l target before bed. Almost there.

ChesterDrawers · 01/10/2014 17:22

Was starving so just had a snack of three bacon slices fried in butter and topped with a bit of tangy cheddar. I blame DH - he made omelettes at lunch and despite me telling him to use butter I suspect he only used a smidge so not enough fat to get me through the afternoon. Oh well, at least he didn't use FryLite!

BigSpottyCupofTea · 01/10/2014 17:38

Having to stave off emotional eating today - really nothing massive just family to-ings and fro-ings and demanding client at work taking the piss.

B: poached egg with bacon fried in oil
L: chicken leg with skin on, cheese, Mayo lettuce
S: other chicken legand 6 olives (emotional eating alert)
D: chicken with Philadelphia streaky bacon and leeks cooked in cream

3l of water and a bit of a headache but not a massive one. Oh and two cups of tea with little bit of milk. V tired but think that is normal/about right given how much I've cut down on the tea.

MrsGuyMartin · 01/10/2014 18:25

So very very tired tonight. I've lied to the DS's that it's far later than they think so I can get to bed early too! I struggled round a 3k run earlier so I think my body is hopefully realising that it needs to start using fat rather than carbs.

So today:
B: leftover FFF
B2: egg mayo then total with cream
L: kippers in butter with spinach in butter
T: Chinese pork belly with stir fry in sesame oil

W: 3lts so far
Tea x1 black coffee x2

Goldensunnydays81 · 01/10/2014 18:34

Well have done day 3 and haven't felt that hungry today where as yesterday I did,

B 3 pieces bacon and mushrooms cooked in lots of butter
L left over moussaka with salad
D roast chicken with large mushroom in butter, leeks in cream topped with cheese and green beans
Lots water and 1 cup of tea, may have another little one later.
No exercise today Hmm

Notsoskinnyminny · 01/10/2014 18:51

Another busy day in work so no time to be tempted

B FF yog and a BPC
L salad with leftover birdseed chicken and eggs
D garlic chicken and roast broccoli
W 1.5l so far

Crabby's cauli cheese is to die for but go easy on the portion size as its a meal in its own right. Her kashmiri chicken's not bad either even if you do use every utensil lurking at the back of your cupboards Grin and as for the berry crumble .... you don't feel like you're on a diet when you have it with a spoon of extra thick DC

yongnian · 01/10/2014 18:51

Checking in..BFing so boot camp light...

B: FF yog with double cream, dollop of whole earth peanut butter and cinnamon
L: white fish and smoked mackerel pâté, Boursin sugar snap peas and carrots
D: chicken cooked with Tom passata, and fajita type spices, peppers, guacamole, ff yog with chives and cucumber
S: a a few pork scratchings
W: 2 litres so far, more to go
E: post-natal workout DVD
3cups of tea

Feeling good...forgot to take snack on school run and usually would have been starving but all the water and fat must be working.
Headache today but to be expected.
Now, my scales are not the best but they I've lost 4lb!! Not really sure this is possible but I do have a lot to lose so could be...anyway, staying motivated.
Great idea, this is!!

yongnian · 01/10/2014 18:53

Chicken cooked with butter, natch! (and olive oil to stop it burning)

BestIsWest · 01/10/2014 18:53

Day 3 -

B. Greek yoghurt, eggs in a bowl with butter and salt.
L. 3 Lidl low carb sausage in buttered little gem wraps with buttery swede.
D. Chicken curry with more swede.

1 coffee with cream, 1 with milk and 2 l water so far.

Hobbes8 · 01/10/2014 19:17

Poor start to the day in that I was up late and didn't have anything quick and easy for breakfast, so I skipped it. However I did manage to turn down a mid morning biscuit despite being starving!
L: frittata with courgette, leeks, feta and Stilton
D: chicken in a cream cheese sauce, mixed veg with butter, kale in coconut milk

Dinner might have been a bit carby, as there were carrots in with the veg. However the good news is that I now have a working fridge and a ton of BC friendly food being delivered, so I can start planning a bit better.

ClashCityRocker · 01/10/2014 19:19

Got some curly kale crisps in the oven, they're my new favourite food!

BiggerYellowTaxi · 01/10/2014 19:30

It's been a good day here, I'm not feeling very hungry but am starting to feel a bit headachey and finding it hard to concentrate. I felt like this but worse last night and had a beef bovril with a spoonful of butter in it and I did feel lots better after.

B: total yogurt with cinnamon as was in a hurry
L: chicken Caesar salad sans croutons - ate out so was the best of the options
D: pork stroganoff(ish) made with pork, mushrooms and double cream and served with buttered cauliflower rice

2X coffee with cream
Water - 2.5L
