I had Bacon Butty for dinner! I can get away with is DD is at her DN for tea. Nice to have a bit of time on my own. Still trying to get her some part-time work.

I remember the itchy head days, what a nuisance.

My house is fairly tidy. It just needs a lick of paint, new kitchen, quite a bit of DIY really.

lou33 · 13/07/2010 20:08

eve, will you do me a favour?

will you go on my fb and look at the kids 3 album and look at the most recent pic, which is ds1 with shorter hair looking at the pc, and tell me your honest opinion about his hair?

lou33 · 13/07/2010 20:09

my bedroom is a shameful mess atm, but i honestly havent had time to sort it, and i am buggered if i am going to attempt it tonight!

Remotew · 13/07/2010 20:11

Logging on in a few mins.

clarabella23 · 13/07/2010 20:15

Aww Lou, what a day! Just think...tomorrow can only get better.

ASBM- I didn't mean I would get bfs with him, he has done nothing wrong, we're just not right. Couldn't be that mean to him! Although have to admit...have done it before only after a first date though, and I did text a couple of days later and said I'd been hectic with family stuff. But I felt guilty as hell!

Sincity- sounds like your DS did fab in the play, I bet you're so proud of him.

DDs open evening tomorrow, fingers crossed is a good report!

Hi to everyone else, I've forgotten loads what I was going to write and it's not on this page so I can't scroll up to check! So I apologise to everyone I missed!

clarabella23 · 13/07/2010 20:16

God I use a lot of exclamation marks. Must stop that.

Monty100 · 13/07/2010 20:26

Lou - you certainly have had a crap day . Poor ds2, and ds1, and you. You need to have that bubbly bath and a couple of beers. You deserve it, you are a lovely lovely mum.

SCL - that's awful, your dm criticising you. Don't let it get to you. Even I know from on here that you even spend most of your weekends running them round to cricket and football. There isn't enough hours in the day to do it all, there just isn't.

Sponge - no dp's here either.

Eve - me and dd quite often come to blows out shopping. I keep telling her I'm never shopping with her again, and then I find myself out with her doing it all again . (She does know exactly what she likes and its usually ££££. She's not like me going through sale rails!)

Ninah - other people are great at telling us how we should be. Try doing this, I say.

Pasta bacon and mushrooms with salad (a bag from Sainsbo's) here .

Exhausted here too. Wish I could afford someone to help out for a couple of hours a week. Still, I can't so that's that.

lou33 · 13/07/2010 21:23

why thank you owen

i did mean to offer some comfort to scl as well but i got all caught up in myself, sorry

i agree tho your mum was very out of order and please try to ignore her comments, they are clearly complete bollocks

Monty100 · 13/07/2010 21:37

Lou - have you put your feet up yet??

I remember when dd got nits, I used to call her nitty Nora lol. She took it in the good humour it was meant.

MrsDrOwenHunt · 13/07/2010 22:03

i think the may having her bath

lou33 · 13/07/2010 23:07

bath done, two kids in bed, other two quiet

i am in my bedroom sneaking a fag and having a beer and smiling because dp just surprised me and turned up with boris, who i wasnt expecting to behaving until tomorrow night

boris was squealing in delight at seeing me and the kids, he really loves being here

the only disconcerting thing about his enthusiasm at seeing us is he gets a right old stonker because of it

just like his dad when he sees me

lou33 · 13/07/2010 23:08

be having not behaving

Monty100 · 13/07/2010 23:24

That's lovely. Have a good evening.

sincitylover · 14/07/2010 22:24

hello everyone - where are you all?

waves frantically {smile]

Remotew · 14/07/2010 22:33

SCL, saw you waving, I've grabbed the laptop for a short while off DD.

Oh I got a message on POF tonight that I bothered to reply to. Exchanged a few messages and as I'm in a drunk, flippant mood I replied to him asking about my spare time, saying week nights I'm usually on here (POF) trying to find a guy and ocassionally glancing up at the TV. Did put a lol after it so hope he isn't put off.

ninah · 14/07/2010 22:39

hello all
am flippant too eve
been at a nature reserve all day with lots of free range preschoolers
why do pof ask you if you take drugs and does anyone say yes?

Remotew · 14/07/2010 22:51

No idea, I always admit to smoking and drinking 3+ times a week though so I suppose someone who does drugs frequently might admit to it.

sincitylover · 14/07/2010 22:55

I think some people say they use pot occasionally.

Probably use of the word pot marks me out as old gimmer .

Only tried it once or twice myself many years ago.

ninah · 14/07/2010 23:16

just seems like such a pointless question
ditto income
Did anyone else do their questionaire and then get flagged up for lots of 'feedback - counselling?' or is it just me lol

lou33 · 15/07/2010 09:41

morning

after the day of medical appointments on monday i found myself at a&e with dp yesterday!

he has been moaning about shoulder pain that was going into his chest, getting worse for a couple of weeks, of course he wouldnt make time to go see his doctor

he woke up yesterday and called work as it was hurting again, so i tried tog et him to see my gp, but they couldnt til 5pm, and told me to get him to a&e

3.5 hours later we are out with a diagnosis of nerve root impingement (trapped nerve then i guess) and a prescription for the pills i had been dosing him up with from when i had my trapped nerve

he has been told to not to any heavy work (being a mechanic??) so wheel changes are out for a start

he has still gone into work though, but only for a half day as he had already taken the afternoon off to watch ds2 in his sports day

and when i just called to see if he had taken his pills, guess what?

he got a lecture

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/07/2010 10:21

typical bloke{rolling eyes emoticon}

aurorastargazer · 15/07/2010 16:35

hello all, place marking agai

dd's got her prep stage ballet exam on sunday [nervous face]

lou33 · 15/07/2010 18:02

Good luck to her!

I only had to do an orthodontic appt, a small food shop and a sports day today. Dp finished work early so he could watch ds2 participate. Our hearts were in our mouths, as he was doing a sprint and a relay, and had two boys from the top year pushing his wheelchair at top pelt. Crash helmet on and properly strapped in and he loved it. Third in one race and second in another. We were amazed he didnt topple over at the speed lol.

hatesponge · 15/07/2010 18:12

lou, how lovely for DS2 bet he was v pleased at your dp being there to see it as well!

found out (as I feared) wedding man's ex gf is a blonde, fake tanned Wag. As I am about as un wag-like as you can get think I might just give up now and buy a cat for company!
