nothing embarrassing really,sorry!!
but was sad to lose every single beatles album
not a huge fan but did like their later stuff and it's nice to have a full set isn't it?
{booking in for reader's digest latest...}

Monty100 · 27/07/2010 21:47

Lou -
What a charmer he is.

Ninah - the trouble is, I leave it, by my standards spotless lol.

She stayed in a hotel overnight once on her last day, so that the beds were clean when I got back!

After that I left new stuff out for her to put on .

Monty100 · 27/07/2010 21:51

Lou - oops

ASBM - did exh take the Beatles albums?

OP posts:
ninah · 27/07/2010 21:54

i love the beatles, lyrics are amazing, writing about such different things in a different way
and actually yoko ono was a fine artist I think if she had not been overshadowed by JL she would be heard of a lot more for her art
conceptual but v elegant and clever

ninah · 27/07/2010 21:55

if not tell me which charity shop

Monty100 · 27/07/2010 22:00

Their (JL and JO) nude photos always freaked me out.

Monty100 · 27/07/2010 22:01

OP posts:
ninah · 27/07/2010 22:04

yes any naked hairy people from that era say 'Sex is a Beautiful and Sacred Thing'
which is not what you wanna hear
do agree there
he should've stuck to tunes and she should've stuck to art
never mind all this Rudey Hello stuff

Monty100 · 27/07/2010 22:07

Ninah - I couldn't have put it better myself. In a million years.

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 27/07/2010 22:13

aseriouslyblondemoment · 27/07/2010 22:21

i had every single album on tape right back from the 70's
she was my role model from my childhood

Monty100 · 27/07/2010 22:21

Kate Bush

Who loved Phil Lynott???

OP posts:
Monty100 · 27/07/2010 22:23

I think we might need ipods.

OP posts:
ninah · 27/07/2010 22:25

oh yes Kate wrote and produced
Debbie is amazing
dsis was shocked when I played her Tide is High as she'd only heard ripoff version
I'm not seeing Phil L tbh
ds is a Queen fan and though I never was the lyrics are noteworthy
esp when we spot a plump lycra cyclist lol

Monty100 · 27/07/2010 22:25

Actually, there's a thought, because when I was telling ds, rather proudly about the car having a cd player he thought it was very funny. He said 'who plays cds these days?' I'm realising now what he meant.

OP posts:
Monty100 · 27/07/2010 22:26

Lurve Queen too.

Phil Lynott, oh I would.

Monty100 · 27/07/2010 22:36

ASBM - Vids? What are they? lol

I think XFactor starts September? No Cheryl this time I don't think. If Katie Price is on there I'm boycotting it.

What was the first 'record' you ever bought everybody? Album or/and single?

Just out of curiosity and for a little giggle.

OP posts:
ninah · 27/07/2010 22:37

I'll blame that nice thank you teacher cote du rhone
but to translate - seriously you can wander for hours on itunes and we'll never see you
time I hit the sack nn
