Re the 5 year thing was a bit different for me and Ex as I knew after 3 months it was all wrong, yet somehow it limped on for another 8 years. For the last 3 of those I definitely knew it was a case of when we split rather than if

what do we think of this...wedding man & I have emailed a bit & exchanged a few texts, tho not spoken yet - he text me earlier today to say he would be online tonight (we generally seem to miss each other) anyway no sign of him - then just got a text saying sorry, he'd gone out & would catch me another time....
