thank you for all the comments re my profile ...I havent shown it to any of my RL friends so really appreciate your input.

I take the point about my photo - I did have the other one (no cleavage!) as my profile pic until this week but the one I have now just feels more me Haven't had any pervy/dodgy comments though, so either the men on match are all v polite, or the fact it also says I'm a lawyer means they are slightly too scared to make any lewd comments

I will change the children bit though....as to whether I'd consider anyone without children, well my preference for a LTR would be someone else with children, I just think it makes life easier....I'll admit this view may be clouded by thoughts of all the guys I know my age without kids who all behave as though they were about 10......

belle/kdk - Match is ok, is my first ever experience of the whole internet dating thing so nothing to compare it to. My view thus far is that the men on there by and large seem fairly decent and respectable, no real weirdos or pervs, and I have had 2 dates (& 3 other offers of dates) even if they didnt feel any romantic inclinations to me! - so not all bad.

belle - some boy george type thing would make a great costume i think. as for what I think about gymboy's behaviour....

Ooh getting all excited with talk of Boy George - he is indeed a national treasure and have always liked him his voice and his wit!

I met him at a Spanish airport a couple of years ago - my dcs were mortified. I started to talk to his brother at the carousel and he then included BG in the convo. He was very sweet.

juice - re self help group - I would join that one!

Dcs have driven me absolutely mad tonite to the point of almost tears/giving up (tho of course the latter is not an option). They have fought almost continously since exh left (wondering if there is a link there) and been rude and obnoxious. Its prob and combo of that and the long dark nights but not acceptable all the same. DS1 witnessed a fight after school as well and despite protestations think it has affected him.

just off the phone from fri's date... may i say... he actually sounds.. em.. rather normal...he's from my old area i grew up in. seems kinda down to earth. have only seen a headshot of what he looks like. seemed kinda normal looking too... says he's 6ft. but doesn't mind if i wear heels.

scl- I think your boys are similar ages to mine (mine are 8 and 11, elder one started secondary last sept) they fight almost constantly, would say am hoping it's a phase but they have been like it ever since I can remember They do get on well sometimes, but even then they are just so...boisterous. Elder one is also getting increasingly stroppy & has bags of attitude. I often have to come and hide upstairs just for 5 mins peace and quiet....
