so its not just me who thinks he comes across as a patronising bastard then?

sincitylover · 07/12/2009 14:27

I'm too wolly headed (if this is not flu Ive got its very close) to reply in detail - however Lou strikes me his responses are those of a man who knows he's basically in the wrong and needs to provide excuse after excuse and also going on the attack.

Myexh used to use the old flat is too small excuse but now he lives somewhere enormous it's something else

My exh said a funny thing this morning (he has also had flu which must have warped his mind/given him too much time to reflect). He will of course be fit enought to go on another overseas trip this weekend but said 'I really must see the boys soon (he couldn't see them last weekend as he was ill) because I'm worried about DS1' (who is behaving as normal teen but clearly exh doesn't believe this).

'I don't want them to think they are being left out in favour of the dts - I mean the only reason I see them more is because I live with them'. WTF !!!! EER this is from the man who has never seen them for a full weekend since we split (despite our agreement stating 48hours) and rushes off by about 6pm on the one weekday he sees them because he has to get back to the dts!!

LIke your exh Lou he clearly lives in his own weird reality where he is the earnest and dutiful parent of two dss who he just happens not to live with and so doesn't see them much' If he can't see the irony there well ...... And I bet he winges to people how sad he is about that - if only they knew!

God feel weak after all that and might have to go back to bed.

Betty79 · 07/12/2009 14:27

lou-what a prick it's def not you that's behaving badly!

thesouthsbelle · 07/12/2009 14:28

no your not at all lou - he is patronising.

OMG just realised I had an email for DS on sunday from father christmas - wondered where the hell it had come from but thought it was the one i'd brought online & was gonna moan at hte company for charging me for it - and it turns out the sailor sent it to him via my email.

now is that sweet and considerate or is that him bieng a bit OTT? (he also likes chick flicks as well) getting worried about that one. plus attention is waivering on gymboy now towards this sailor.... oh dear.....

lou33 · 07/12/2009 14:31

i hope you feel better soon scl, i have had this 9 days now and still dont feel 100%

i think stuff like that just make me feel worse, gets me down

i really think he loves trying to bully me

he wrote it out at 1.50 am ffs

lou33 · 07/12/2009 14:38

can i just add that his email was often in bold type to make sure i got his point

i wish he would just disappear he ruins my peace and quiet

sincitylover · 07/12/2009 14:39

well I dont anticpate going back to work until Thurs or Fri at the earliest and just don't have energy to deal with work emails etc.

My face actually aches which I assume is sinus.

Unfortunatley I do have to go out later to get some essentials - will be wearing my velour track pants so I know I'm ill lol

also don't fancy food, wine and couldn't entertain a cigarette or sex so I must be ill.

Meanwhile Mr Yorke is ringing, texting and sending me messages on fb regularly and telling me now I have someone to look after me (scared emoticon) - it all feels a bit too much really and a bit presumptious on his part. We've only had a coffee fgs.

sincitylover · 07/12/2009 14:41

what a shame he had to come back from TL really? He's a bit too close

What are the rest of his family like?

lou33 · 07/12/2009 14:53

oh that would put me off a tad, bit full on

i havent felt like doing any of that either fwiw

yes i really wish he hadnt come back, it isnt like he even did it for the kids, he did it so he could get medical treatment

lou33 · 07/12/2009 14:54

i dont have anything to do with his family, not done for years, and they washed their hands of him too, tho he does email his mother from time to time to ask her for money

thesouthsbelle · 07/12/2009 15:57

how long will his treatment take then? as I say shame he won't just rev up and go back.

sorry you're feeling poorly as well scl - i'd also find that a bit full on of yorkie tbh.

lou33 · 07/12/2009 16:19

i think it ended ages ago but he just wasnt kind enough to fuck off back there

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 07/12/2009 16:41

think yorkie is just trying to be thoughtful

belle - that is very very thoughtful of sailor. also show he's good at suprise things. great potential when it comes to xmas/birthdays. lol.

lou your exh is still a twunt.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 07/12/2009 20:53

know exactly where scl is coming from with yorkie it's a bit worrying when they're so keen isn't it?
but maybe we just expect the bollocks worst?
still,no harm with a bit of self preservation til you're sure
belle??have to be honest but i think that's a bit OTT of sailor having never met your ds.have you had a relationship in the past with him?

OP posts:
thesouthsbelle · 07/12/2009 21:22

blondie - nope no relationship, never met hte man, he's been sailing around the Caribbean for the last 6 months since I started emailing him, he's back next monday. it's nice apparently he was looking for his boy who's 8 to send one and thought DS would love it as well. I think I should go back to being cautious about that one.

Lou - do you think he'd take the hint if you got him a 1 way ticket back. hahaha

juicy - well apparently I need to 'wait & see what santa brings me...' along with him asking what size I am. emails are prob twice a day each, at least once a day at the minute.

lou33 · 07/12/2009 22:06

i agree i would feel it a bit odd wrt sailor too

lou33 · 07/12/2009 22:09

him helping himself to a ticket to thailand on my credit card, plus a few k of cash to help him party, was what got me financially shot in the first place

aseriouslyblondemoment · 07/12/2009 22:23

belle this rings alarm bells tbh and not for those reasons
he's never met you ffs let alone your little boy
it's all way too much too soon
he appears to be either sadly lacking emotionally or hoping he's found a sucker who'll take any old shit as she's a lone mum so obv desp
gullible
i'm being harsh again i know but trust me i have experience a nose for these bastards chancers
please don't meet this fella,i have such a bad feeling about him

OP posts:
Betty79 · 07/12/2009 22:23

well got another date with 4am bloke, must give him a name....will call him mrjack not cos its his actual name but cos he's got so many jobs i keep calling him jack of all trades lol we're either going cinema or dvd here depending on if i can get a sitter

and had a short convo with footiebloke on msn tonight even tho i deleted his msn addy after he dissapeared after 2nd date and i didnt hear from him. Don't know y he's contacted me now?

belle-I think that is sweet of sailor but maybe a bit much having not met ur ds, but then again i wish my xh who's is a sailor too btw thought of things like that for his own kids let alone someone elses!

scl-Mr yorke sounds like he is very keen, think i wud be a bit scared lol

aseriouslyblondemoment · 07/12/2009 22:26

aseriouslyblondemoment · 07/12/2009 22:44

OP posts:
thesouthsbelle · 08/12/2009 07:13

mrjack. what did the football man have to say for himself then?

blondie - what reasons is that then?

ds is full of clod today - am debating if to send him in or not today, tomorrow is xmas play day, but today I really have to get into work at least for the morning as have to close month end, and don't want the FC to see some bits & bobs my boss has asked me to do which really shouldn't have been.

Betty79 · 08/12/2009 08:08

no idea what footiebloke wanted, i couldnt really be bothered replying if im honest but he did ask if i was still on pof! anyway i ended the convo without saying much more and went to bed lol

my dd2 is full of cold too today poor things, its all going round at the mo isnt it.
