Ok an update from OJ for those that have been asking

You know how the last three years have been so bloody difficult and over that time i have shared a lot on MN which in turn has meant that i have had a huge amount of support which frankly still blows me away. you have walked beside me throu the tears so i think it is only fair that you get to share the joy

The kids continue to make me proud and amaze me in equal measures they have coped with the death of their lovely dad far better than i could have imagined.
i am doing really well, it has been almost 16 months now and i have adjusted to the new life i didn't want or choose and.............................
i feel very lucky for what we do have now.
some of you have asked on facebook what it is that is making me smile and the answer is.......... i have been seeing someone who is very special and he has made me feel very special too.
He says that he understands that i will always love Steve and he doesn't want that to ever change but hopes that i have enough love to share with him

You don't "know" me or anything - I never posted on your threads, but read them all with such admiration and was touched by the communication between you and Steve during those difficult final weeks.

It really is lovely news, so nice that you are happy again.

It is said (somewhere, I've read it) that only those who have known true love can go on to love again. It was probably in a disney film or something, but the sentiment is a good one, I think.

Enjoy yourself, long may it last!

Its lovely we loved that it had the date on it and the kids too, thankyou, i have it on my kitchen windowsill next to another card and many flowers

Ok will try and find camera charger anddo photo!
Elliot ensured that everyone in the hairdressers knew about our engagement , he was eyeing up the display cabinet that has local hand made jewellery for sale when he spotted the tiara he promptly and loudly asked the hairdresser if he could get it out for his mum to try on cos it would be perfect for her wedding to tom!
He then asked me loudly if perhaps he could sell some of his toys in order to fund the tiara! Hairdresser said she will give it to elliot when we need it!
