notevenamousie · 17/10/2009 13:27

lou has her Big Night Out tonight.

One of my wonderful closest friends has just taken dd out for a couple of hours, because I have been so, so sick for the past week with this bug and was on my knees yesterday and the day before. I feel a bit better today but she has still taken her so I can have a break. I am so lucky - no-one's ever done that with dd for me before. DD went off grinning!

NM was out of the country with work til late last night and is off again on monday but is coming over tomorrow night (he's with his son til then) - I am so soppy but I have really missed him so much.

lou33 · 17/10/2009 13:52

am off to see nm tonight betty

quiet night in

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/10/2009 13:55

afternoon all!
just skivving from housework taking a coffee break
lou a well deserved lie-in with room service sounds fab, sadly service at mine is poor today and i was forced to get out of bed make my own
so are you off out with lb or is he cooking for you?
mousie you're sounding so positive atm despite your hideous bug,am really really chuffed for you
eve have you decided on dd's decor or have you both got side tracked and are having a girly day instead?
betty hi again-any word on 2nd date?
belle will be doing same as you tonight and i hope you have a good one
sparky where are you?have just noticed you're other posting on relationships-think us girls here need full update pronto!!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/10/2009 13:56

x post there
enjoy lou

ninah · 17/10/2009 13:59

update - and advice please
had big discussion with nm about where it is all going etc etc last week
he says he doesn't know if he wants a live in relationship he's not sure
I am not either
we left it that we'd spend a bit of time apart see other people
then proceeded to spend next 3 nights together
were supposed to meet today only he seems to have forgotten, has asked me and dc out for meal tonight with him and his dc - have said no because frankly eating out with 4 dc in the eve in this country is bloody horrendous and stressful
he's got the hump
it's never going to work out, is it?
do I need to spell it out again, given the mixed message overnighters, or just go ahead and date someone else?

lou33 · 17/10/2009 14:01

what is your instinct telling you to do?

OP posts:
witcheseve · 17/10/2009 14:05

What do you really want Ninah? If you want the whole live in thing then you are right to say so or look for it with someone else. Do you want to take a breather and see other people or is it him that wants that. If it's the latter I would call it off.

ninah · 17/10/2009 14:05

today it is telling me dead end
last night it was after a glass of wine a chat and someone to go to bed with

ninah · 17/10/2009 14:09

yes I want live in, and he knows, and he is dithering. I think he will come round to it but the dithering is putting me right off, and I am losing respect for him. He has said in the next few weeks he will sort out his divorce. It is me that suggested we date other people, he is not so keen. He is the first bloke I met since ex, so I want to be sure it is actually him and not just having someone

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/10/2009 14:26

ninah have mailed you
will have a look on here later to see what the others think
chin up xx

witcheseve · 17/10/2009 14:29

If he is dithering it's probably because he isn't sure or he could just be being over cautious, if so then worth hanging on for if you know he is the one you really want. If not then time to move on.

sincitylover · 17/10/2009 14:42

Very fucked off with dithery men atm!! Sorry that you are having all this crap Ninah

Instinctively I feel that if things are rightthen people don't dither.

Nothing still from samename have sent him txt asking him if he's dead and assuming not why is he being so bad mannered. I just want him to tell me so we can have closure.

And am wondering whether I will ever tell him that I still have mahoosive thing for exbf or would that just be cruel?

Off to rinse my hair colour off (caramel blonde from Aldi hope its ok) back later

ninah · 17/10/2009 14:43

it's caution and I understand why, he was married for ages and the split was a real shock
he says he loves me and he'd hate to lose me
he has said to me move in with him but there is no space for both our dc, living together would mean selling up and starting again for both of us, is a huge step
was planning to talk to him today over lunch but plans have changed as I said earlier
Atm I am not sure he is the one I really want, but have this feeling it's gonna be like shoe shopping, you see a pair that fits, perfectly fine, spend a day trying on others and go back to the first pair in the end - and it's gone!
the dithering's a def turn off, even tho I can understand it
I am sick of the evening visits when he has to leave, the patchy weekend plans. I am scared of turning it into something more permanent. Can't win.
Where's rj by the way? has gone quiet - lurve?
will check email asbm

lou33 · 17/10/2009 14:45

i think the fact you have been uncertain for a long time says quite a lot

OP posts:
ninah · 17/10/2009 14:46

yeah dithering is a bad sign scl
it's like, well I don't really want you but I'm reluctant to give up the regular sex
as am I
nm and samename, well I think we have had slightly similar experiences so far
hope you get a reply
and hair is always a boost, I've gone reddish adn I love it

sincitylover · 17/10/2009 14:55

back hair colour looking good wet and if it's too flat looking will run some highlights thru it.

Ninah I think you are more involved with your nm than I have been with samename.

sincitylover · 17/10/2009 15:18

just had message from 21 year old on pof!!!

Now need to consider whether I will put back a profile the other site.

ninah · 17/10/2009 15:21

OK, am gonna talk to him tonight, agree to spend time apart
go back on website to take my mind off it
or should I text him now in case I weaken?
