lostinthecitylover · 23/05/2009 19:29

evening all - lou can you just refresh my memory as to darkhorse - have been reading back a bit and to part 8 but can't quite work out who he is?

I am so relieved it's half term although can only take one day off.

on the dating front - seeing samename on mon - we 're going to have a chat but he is pissing me off cos hasn't rung or texted since we spoke midweek. I mean I know he's laid back (makes a point of saying it) and not very communicative via text but I'm not really happy with it. Whether casual or otherwise I like a bit of attention without being needy.

And it's lessened off so could mean he's getting too complacent already which is not good.

Was telling RL mate about him last nite and she thought the fact I felt uncomfortable some of the time last weekend when he was here was a bad sign. Im not sure about that I think I am just not used to it - used to doing my own thing.

Look forward to hearing about anyone's dates tonight

lou33 · 23/05/2009 19:56

scl i dont know if i have talked about him to you, he is someone i know who has suddenly evolved into a bit more

i agree about the contact thing, i think it's a bit crap to have silence, a text or two just to say hi is important i think

i also agree with your mate, if things didnt always sit right then maybe your instincts are saying something?

i am still mulling over the darkhorse/batman thing lol

i dont even know if i want something potentially serious or casual tbh

i think i just want to have my cake and eat it!

raggedtrouseredphilanthropist · 23/05/2009 20:01

hi everyone
Can I join you again? I came on ages ago, but you guys chat so much I can hardly keep up! And I was also really confused about whether or not I was really looking for a bloke then, so all your successes kinda made me feel
But I am now on the dating scene, so feel I fit in a bit more...
And I have another date tonight with the guy I freaked out at. Seen him a few times now, and he is very kind and thoughtful etc but I am not sure how much else there is there iyswim. He is a bit like lost's samename, and I cant work out if I really like him or if he is doing my head in.
anyway, anyone else off out tonight?

lostinthecitylover · 23/05/2009 20:05

yes I think I do too.

exbf has also been in touch for a chat - although that has its own problems as you know and shouldnt compare he is very much on my wavelength communication wise. He gets me and I get him.

whatever happens am going to delete my profile soon and prob take the summer off LOL

Of course I could chase up the guy who works at a famous garden - he sounded interesting and genuinely upset when I told him I had met someone.

lou33 · 23/05/2009 20:05

welcome back

i am in tonight but the one i am calling darkhorse is coming over tomorrow daytime

what is confusing you about this bloke?

lostinthecitylover · 23/05/2009 20:06

maybe they are the same guy ragged ? tee hee

what area broadly are you in?

lostinthecitylover · 23/05/2009 20:08

imagine if we'd been dating the sameguy (wicked emoticon) just think what we could do to him to set him up LOL

lostinthecitylover · 23/05/2009 20:09

oh god perhaps that answers my question - I should feel mortified at that shouldn't I?

raggedtrouseredphilanthropist · 23/05/2009 20:12

lol at dating the sameguy. I am in norfolk btw - where are you? I just dont think mine has it in him to date 2 people at once, he is way too nice.
There is the problem. My ex was a total arsehole, and while I do NOT want that (he was abusive) this whole nice business really confuses me. Can;t work out if I am seeing him just cos he is so kind and thoughtful and the opposite to my ex or if there is more there.
I am not hard to confuse!

lostinthecitylover · 23/05/2009 20:18

I m in South London.

Sometimes samename makes me think of Timothy from that sitcom (ages ago) but others he really doesn't and isn't. It's a bit unfair but it has crossed my mind on a couple of occasions.

He is also very nice and bit sensitive (in touch with his feminine side) but also can be very masculine IYKWIM, Quite a conundrum.

lostinthecitylover · 23/05/2009 20:20

fluffy yet hard

raggedtrouseredphilanthropist · 23/05/2009 20:21

fluffy yet hard is ok.
I have yet to see my fella's hard side... will try to tease it out of him tonight..

lou33 · 23/05/2009 20:24

ooer

lostinthecitylover · 23/05/2009 20:30

it wasn't meant in that way LOL
