aseriouslyblondemoment · 25/05/2009 17:57

janos

lou33 · 25/05/2009 18:05

it was hardly romantic with 3 kids in tow, 2 of them bickering non stop!

Janos · 25/05/2009 18:05

Meh, asbm (at him, not you of course).

And on you behalf at XH bring your wee ones back late.

I deleted the email completely btw so can't forward it but trust me, it was bonkers.

I am someone who has a lot of goodwill and kindness and so forth (mahvellous me lol) but he has just worn out his welcome really.

Janos · 25/05/2009 18:07

Ha ha @ lou

Unless it was a film with lots of kids in of course...cCan't think of any off the top of my head mind.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 25/05/2009 18:08

well am back after afternoon at samenames. we were going to go out for something to eat and a walk but didn't really have enough time to fit that in as well as having a chat and nice time. he did make me a sandwich tho!!

He's happy to go with the flow so to speak sort of hinted that he was in the pocket of exp too much and then she dumped him so think he is OK with my limited availability and general wariness. Told him I was extremely wary.

So it's all OK for now and wil meet him on Saturday for drink nearer to my area.

i still feel his natural instinct is to be quite intense but we'll see.

Lou - dark horse sounds very useful.

lou33 · 25/05/2009 22:47

he does and is, but i am not sure i want to keep him

ridingjoker · 26/05/2009 07:47

morning all.

lou - why aren't you going to keep dark horse? he sounds very usefull. lol

scl - glad your chat went well.

llaj - hows your internet hunting going?

lou33 · 26/05/2009 11:17

i'm not sure i fancy him that much, shallow as that may sound

ninah · 26/05/2009 13:52

oh this moves too fast gonna have to catch up
lou, you found a fai and gone off him in one Bank Hol??!
and eve back on cigs and sex shocker
lost I have to say please don't freak out with samename because you are afraid, this happened to me I know how you feel, nm got a bit grumpy on hol and all the stuff with ex came back, I have so nearly dumped him three times now cos never want to be there again. But they are not the same men, are they? try and stand back from it sometimes so you can work out what part of it is fear of the past, I do know how you feel!

ninah · 26/05/2009 13:58

had to go back to last thread to see what you meant rj, friend saying nm not good looking, had forgotten! well he is bald with glasses and wears fleeces, that kinda thing
I don't really care
thanks for the support tho! I don't think she meant to be rude she just thinks I deserve 'better' look like brad pitt treat me like a queen etc
her husband is difficult

ninah · 26/05/2009 14:00

god what a forest of emoticons, sorry
just remembered THE most exciting news
my sis is having dc tomorrow so I can go for a haircut, AND a swim! yay! is first time she has offered, I didn't even drop a hint

raggedtrouseredphilanthropist · 26/05/2009 14:10

hi everyone. you all chat SO much! There is no way I can keep up with it all

lou - sorry to hear you dont fancy him. But he does sound like a good person - are you like, stomach turningly not fancying him or just not sure how much you do? It confuses me, whether or not a nm should set my world on fire, or be more slowburning.. My nm isnt traditionally gorgeous or anything, but there is something about him iyswim, so I dont know how much that bothers me. But, in a shallow way, I wonder how my friends will react to him....

lost - seems like taking it really slow is the way forward? You seem to be in the same predicament as me. I am trying hard to ignore all that ex crap, and just go with the flow more..

asbm - love the term cyberman for internet men. lol. wish I'd known that one earlier!!

Not a lot has been happening here - just house hunting. And, I changed my name to my married AND maiden name, so I am now right posh with a double barrelled surname. Feels good to get my old name back after so many years.

Remotew · 26/05/2009 14:34

Ninah, lol at back on the cigs and sex shocker, story of my life.

Have fun with your swim and trim.

Hmm what to do when your new fella isn't as drop dead gorg as you would hope. Tell these friends that you wouldn't touch their other halves with a barge pole so keep their opinions to themselves.

lou33 · 26/05/2009 15:51

not , not stomach turningly dont fancy him, just not sure if i do enough, or if he will grow on me over time

he is still here btw

Remotew · 26/05/2009 16:23

Give it chance it will go one way or the other. He will either start to make you feel funny in your pants or make your flesh crawl.

lunavix · 26/05/2009 16:28

Hi! south england...

no did -not- meet up with any!!!

bit the bullet and joined dating direct and got to chat with a few nice men last night which was lovely, got messaged by a number of oddballs but ignored them...

ridingjoker · 26/05/2009 16:36

ninah - lets face it. whats chances of dating a brad pitt? and would you want to??

i prefer a good looking bloke who's nice rather than an amazing looking bloke anyday.

i must admit to prefer to be the better looking in any relationship i'm in.i think you tend to get treated better, and they tend not to stray as they know there's little chance of them getting better than they have.

i also find in the past if i've been dating someone drop dead gorgeous that some women will literally throw themselves at your fella even if your there.
