this is horrible
you shouldn't have to ask end of
and for him to bring sex into it is plain wrong
i imagine that he is getting off on you being fucked off here
which makes it worse
controlling prick

eve - i think i can kind of guess where you are...I'm further down south, in a shipbuilding town? have no idea re this cat thing but if you can contact me and have a chat that would be fab!

decided to jump in with both feet and signed up to guardian one as well - in for a penny and all that!

though i've no experience of internet dating, chatting online can be hugely different than face to face and in the flesh your pants may decide to go into disco mode.

lou33 · 18/04/2009 00:22

its complicated because i know he does have genuine feelings for me, and he cant handle them

aside fromt hat if he owes me money he should pay, but i am betting i dont get it tomorrow

aseriouslyblondemoment · 18/04/2009 00:27

mh have you been on the vino too?
app.the guardian one is v.upmarket
eve thinks i should join it lol
hope you both make contact she is a lege is eve and always gives me sound advice you will like her
and if you want my email addie will post it no probs or eve will pass it on

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 18/04/2009 00:29

lou the feelings are his prob not yours
i'd be feeling in need of the money
and if he had feelings he would app.your situ as a lone mum with your dc to think about

OP posts:
MuthaHubbard · 18/04/2009 00:31

only one glass...!!! you should def have a look, there were one or two in my area that looked promising. crikey - didn't know it was upmarket, don't let 'em know who i really am then!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 18/04/2009 00:37

oh behave!!
so have you messaged anyone off match or the guardian yet?
we need to know here as you're the only one on those sites
it's pof or frd only so far
tho tortoise is doing swk
and i think smooch was mentioned too

OP posts:
MuthaHubbard · 18/04/2009 00:51

am loathe to pay twenty odd quid for full subs on match.com, though i did 'wink' at two and i've got two emails i can't blardy read!!

have only had one person look at my guardian one, but only been on there about an hour! have looked a few guys profiles and don't think i have to subscribe to email so you never know...will keep you updated.

took eve's advice re pof in my area, not much choice apparantly

lou33 · 18/04/2009 00:52

he has replied saying meet at 11.30 as he has to pick up his kids at 12

he better fucking be there

aseriouslyblondemoment · 18/04/2009 01:02

mh without being neg.the first two are usually from the site itself lol
didn't realise that it was that much!
think you have to cough up too to view on the guardian and that's more expensive
i guess it depends on how much time you are prepared to give it really
and if you break it down into what you'd spend on a nite out then it puts things into perspective i think or if not a nite out then a bottle of wine a week!

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 18/04/2009 01:02

lou if he has kids too then he should know better

OP posts:
inthemistsoftime · 18/04/2009 08:03

hey lou, if he doesn't turn up I'll go and kick him in the balls personally for you, hes an arse, you are a single mother and have kids to look after, he should know better, feelings or no feelings.

MH I sort of signed up for the guardian site but have chickened out at paying for it.

I have said before it does seem to be up market, all the guys seem to be really intense on there as well, I found it a little intimidating, but thats because I am a shy retiring gal!

ridingjoker · 18/04/2009 08:48

eve. send me an email. i cant find your address.

inthemist got yours will send you details

lou - i hate when people borrow money. i've gotten to a situation now with dc where i just wont do it with most people now.

asbm - ooooh not long now. feeling any excitement or nerves yet?

MomentaryLapseOfReason · 18/04/2009 10:11

Mind if i hijack slightly? Are any of you sahms, do you think this affects your 'success' rate?

ridingjoker · 18/04/2009 10:40

i am. well for present. have a job. just waiting on starting.

doesn't make one iota of a difference to me i find. wether its on internet or meeting people in RL.

but my lo's are very young. and cost of 2 sets of nursery fees makes working a pointless excercise till ds starts proper nursery on monday.

lou33 · 18/04/2009 10:51

i havent had a lack of dates through being a sahm

right i sent 2 texts to this bloke today reminding him not to be late but he didnt reply,. so i called him and left a vm on his phone

he isnt going to turn up is he?

which means i will have wasted petrol to wait around to not get my cash

i would go to his house but he recently moved and i am not sure of the address only the general area

and yes he should know better, as well as he has known me and the kids for 5 yrs, and reckons he loves us all

i could do without a wasted trip of 15 miles tbh, as i still have stuff to do here before exex arrives, but i have to go really

MuthaHubbard · 18/04/2009 10:56

blonde - thought at least one email would be from the site itself on match so don't worry! It's £60-odd quid for six months on there or £22 a month.

Not actually sure how much it is on the guardian one, just signed up for the free bit at the mo. Am saving to take the kids on hols so a bit loathe to part with any cash just yet.

As I'm new and dipping my toe in so to speak, I may consider paying a sub in the future. Have already been added to someone's favourites on soulmates, and he looks a bit of an italian stallion - tall, dark and handsome, so ticks a few boxes!!

lou - hope you sort this guy out one way or another.

Reason - i'm a newbie to this and work part-time.

MomentaryLapseOfReason · 18/04/2009 11:30

Thanks for the replies, would appear there is hope for me yet perhaps .

lou - sincerely hope you get your money back

aseriouslyblondemoment · 18/04/2009 12:19

lou i hope he saw reason and sorted this out

I've been burnt once when I lent some dk head money. It was a big amount too. Never again. I had to keep in touch with him because of it and I wanted to tell him to fk off. Never did get it back but I rang up his cousin and told them all about it and they spread it around his family.

Remotew · 18/04/2009 13:36
