Holly23 · 10/04/2009 12:26

Hi everyone,

Glad you're feeling better Lou,

I've got a poorly throat! hopefully it will clear up soon.
I'm meeting fittie later at 6pm, its his birthday today.
Exchanged a message or too with a guy from pof, he seems quite interesting, he's local, no pic as yet so will have to wait and see how that develops. Had a couple of other messages today from guys on pof and frd but no-one that grabs me tbh. I'm away at my sisters all weekend, but will take laptop with me so can keep up with this thread.
What has everyone else got planned this weekend?
My DCs went to their dad's today for 2 nights still as long as they have a nice time and they're happy thats all that matters, will miss them loads though

lou33 · 10/04/2009 12:27

i am not really that excited about it, lugging 3 kids about with me, who will be non stop saying "ooh ooh mum, can we get this?"

lou33 · 10/04/2009 12:28

holly i dont want to worry you, but that's how i started out (sore throat)

eek....

Holly23 · 10/04/2009 12:36

Oh hope I don't get poorly
Yes, kids always want something when you take them out.
I can't get ill, I've got DD's birthday on Tuesday!, she's going to the cinema with her mates and then pizza hut afterwards on Monday to celebrate and then my family are all visiting her on Tuesday! My throat does really hurt and I feel a bit sikky!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 10/04/2009 13:16

holly get some vino down you later should numb the pain!
lou and sainsburys
oh the joys eh?
i am men free this weekend atm.
unless i acquire any more lol

sincitylover · 10/04/2009 13:53

Good afternoon everybody.

Well had a great time last night and I invited him back to mine (tho told him I was in two minds). We had a great time, he left this morning and we've arranged another date for next week.

Taking each day as it comes! But promising I would say.

Ds2 is back from his friends and we are just having a quiet day in.

sincitylover · 10/04/2009 13:55

sorry to hear you aren't feeling well Holly. I am still quite blocked up - agree that alcohol will help.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 10/04/2009 13:56

ooh scl!
sounding promising here
are you walking around with a big smile on your face

OP posts:
sincitylover · 10/04/2009 14:27

no it doesn't feel like that - hard to explain really. But it does feel very OK - it's like usually I am the emotional one and the OH is the buttoned up one but in this case it seems to be the other way round. Most unusual but OK.

Holly23 · 10/04/2009 14:27

SCL - all sounding very good!
Well me and fittie having changed our plans for later, we're meeting up for a meal in brum and hitting the bars! so drinks aplenty for my poorly throat
right better on, got to decide what I'm wearing tonight, get my underarms waxed etc etc!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 10/04/2009 14:40

scl interesting!
does this make it seem more manageable for you iyswim
oh holly tmi

OP posts:
Holly23 · 10/04/2009 14:52

aseriouslyblondemoment · 10/04/2009 15:01
