another thought. If you go forward to saucy, inuendo, sexy, cheeky or any sort of adventure text and you change your mind, its hard to go back without a good reason. No one likes to go back when going forward is more fun.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 02/03/2009 20:55

yes but surely you're entitled to change your mind?
its part of relationships and life

ridingjoker · 02/03/2009 21:05

aseriouslyblondemoment · 02/03/2009 21:11

a bit of self preservation on our part there i think

OP posts:
ridingjoker · 02/03/2009 21:18

do you know what i think is pointless.

when your in a relationship and you have a problem. some people go in huffs for days, or silent treatment.

to "punish" the other partner.

whats the point in that. have it out. sort the problem and get over it/forgive

oh and i cant stand people who want to "talk things through" for friggin days.

if i've said i'm over it or they have too. then that the blooming end of it.

life is short. no time for all that nonense.

more games as far as i can see?

aseriouslyblondemoment · 02/03/2009 21:23

oh god sounds too like my marriage all that crap
if a relationship goes that way now i'm off end of.

you can change your mind, there might be arkward feelings to the point of lost trust.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 02/03/2009 21:46

lost trust on whose part and in what sense?
not being able to trust again?
or not trusting that person?

The advantage of using a mobile phone....it makes you think that nothing was submitted and it was.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 03/03/2009 09:41

Hello asbm and others, making the jump across from my own sad experience thread of the world of Match.

Quick update - I have now had it confirmed an alien did actually log onto his account and accidentally delete me and the whole site is now down with a virus so all the far fetched reasons he dissapeared turned out to be true - you wouldn't believe it would you.

Sad thing with the site being down is I've given myself a good talking too and was going to revamp my profile and send some emails out.

inthemistsoftime · 03/03/2009 11:54

oh ant, did the alien actually abduct him as well?

(inthemists passes ant a large box of chocolates, just in case she is in need of sustenance)

there's lost of tea and sympathy here, welcome

aseriouslyblondemoment · 03/03/2009 12:09

Hi Ant and welcome to our lucky thread!
so that's good news for all of us then isn't it as we can now legit.believe that our men haven't been in touch as the site has a virus
Have you heard from him at all?
or are you going to be a bit bold and send that friendly 'hi how are you?' text?
Inthemist!!!
and quick update
oh yes Blackberry has just text
WTF
i thought that I'd made my feelings plain but obviously he is either very thick skinned
or very persistent!

ANTagony · 03/03/2009 12:37

Site now back up - profile pimped (can you say that in this context?) I don't know if the aliens abducted him he certainly hasn't been in touch - so anything is possible.

Time to do some searching.

ANTagony · 03/03/2009 12:39

Forgot to say thank you for the chocolates sustenance definately needed.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 03/03/2009 12:55

Ant how long have you been using Match for and what success have you had?

OP posts:
ANTagony · 03/03/2009 13:03

I've been on Match for three months. I have a very high reject rate of contacts. If they don't want kids, if they don't attract me, if they can't write well, if they wink (whats that all about why not just introduce yourself), If they are attractive they get rejected because there must be something wrong with them. So that rules everyone out just about. I recently realised this and have only dated people who are pretty persistant at contact. There have been a couple who I've seen a few times and they've been enthusiastic but not really sparked anything significant in me. I've just started a new phase of attempting to contact people rather than waiting to be contacted. The Alien abductee was the first of these. Just a shame that the invasion was at the same time!

ridingjoker · 03/03/2009 13:22

ant - go for it and contact him. nothing lost if he doesn't reply. do you have his mobile number? or does he have your?

asbm - blackberry man must be really starting to bug you. lol.

inthemist - whats your update? heard from anyone yesterday or today? did samename 2 ever reply?
