asbm, bob is still keen!

no idea why?

me, i am just an average gal!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 05/03/2009 20:05

what has made you change your mind about him when you seemed so sure that he wasn't for you?

OP posts:
inthemistsoftime · 05/03/2009 20:11

well I suppose I have been judging him by past relationships, bit am finding him to be a bit different! and I like it.

inthemistsoftime · 05/03/2009 20:13

am new to being single, and think maybe mums with dcs are not so easy to deal with, especially my situation.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 05/03/2009 20:13

thank goodness that he has hung around then!
are you seeing him again soon?

OP posts:
ridingjoker · 05/03/2009 20:15

i like bob. he seems persistent yet not over bearing.

infact. i would like anyone's fella as long as they are not into scooters and war games or comic books

aseriouslyblondemoment · 05/03/2009 20:16

its tricky having dcs that's for sure
but any worthwhile bloke will understand that
in my case i really only can get out when my dcs are at their Dad's
i could ask my parents at a push but don't wish to discuss my personal life with them!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 05/03/2009 20:17

RJ have you told him where to sling his hook yet?

OP posts:
ridingjoker · 05/03/2009 20:19

em....not yet

been a bit busy shopping and entertaining other lovely fella

inthemistsoftime · 05/03/2009 20:19

god, i am such hard work, but i think i am worth it !

am seeing him for lunch next week

ridingjoker · 05/03/2009 20:21

i'm very easy pleased. once they get me to agree a time and date i'm free. that the problem.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 05/03/2009 20:26

er hem yes entertaining is the word
well he may be weird but perhaps that scouts communication badge is paying dividends and he has got the message!

OP posts:
inthemistsoftime · 05/03/2009 20:27

bob thinks I am playing the field!!!

I am so not, can only deal with with one at a time, but he is still keen, so I have decided to give him another go.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 05/03/2009 20:28

yep,i have been accused of being hard work
but am easily pleased too
with the right bloke of course

Abouteve - thank you, yes there are loads of single guys around my age and they seem easy to find, actually they find me, so not sure if I will look online just yet, but always god to keep in mind..

aseriously - I don't think he is actually, maybe I am just expecting him to text back within minutes. He replied 45 mins later, then I replied 20mins after that... God listen to me, I sound like a child, who would ever think I'm a mum myself..

aseriouslyblondemoment · 05/03/2009 20:29

inthemist
is that cybermen crown now destined for your head?!

OP posts:
ridingjoker · 05/03/2009 20:31

NSM - 20 mins is pretty good for me if it's when dc are up. i never manage to reply stright away unless they are in bed and i'm sat down with a cup of tea.

newlysinglemummy · 05/03/2009 20:31

ridingjoker - i'm not sure if his responses are witty but they sound very polite which I like, quite grown up...

aseriouslyblondemoment · 05/03/2009 20:32

NSM that's good to hear
there are alot of games with mobiles
most of us on here first had our dating days prior to their invention!
hence why we are so bloodycynical confused

OP posts:
ridingjoker · 05/03/2009 20:32

we like gentleman behaviour on this thread

n1 - what would you call equivalent behaviour in a woman??

aseriouslyblondemoment · 05/03/2009 20:34

unless i am genuinely busy or doing a bit of the old game playing too
i usually respond quickly to a text
esp.when a nice bit of banter going on

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 05/03/2009 20:36

RJ what we like and what we get are often 2 different matters tho
will be interested to hear N1's response to this!
he's prob.busy emailing us all his latest pic lol

OP posts:
ridingjoker · 05/03/2009 20:37

yeah, we usually get freaks trying to web cam us their knob??

who was it got that? was it you asbm??

newlysinglemummy · 05/03/2009 20:42

inthemist - lol at bob thinking you have got time to look afer dc's and speak to him.

life would be eaiser without mobiles, I know my exp was forever texting girls on his, without it he wouldn't have had the chance, but would still have been a cheat anyway...

aseriouslyblondemoment · 05/03/2009 20:42

ROFL!!!
er yes i have had
tho never admitted it til now, put it this way made me view Xmas Dinner quite differently!!
I think it was Lou actually she's had pretty much everything else
but SCL if you remember had an unpleasant experience with her webcam
