inthemistsoftime · 26/02/2009 18:21

it would be so nice to meet all you guys, I doubt it will ever happen but wouldn't it be funny, a large group of attractive, gorgeous, single, independent women running amock.

ridingjoker · 26/02/2009 18:29

i think i would pity any fellas we meet on that night

inthemistsoftime · 26/02/2009 18:31

an acrimonious divorce and lots of baggage, not sure I can be doing with it!

me and my ex, not best of friends but at least we understand that the kids come first. I must say that in all the shit that is flying around he gives me credence for understanding the kids better that he does.

maybe I should be looking for someone who ticks a few more boxes too!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 26/02/2009 18:56

oh lordy has he been venting about her?
when i had that date earlier this month that guy went on about his ex
and despite me trying to change the subject
he returned to it lol
he is separated tho

OP posts:
ridingjoker · 26/02/2009 19:08

yeah, i dont bring up exes unless they specifically ask. at all. cant really be doing with a fella who talks about his.

i would find it odd if i tried to change subject too and they came back to it.

i also make a point of changing subject if they bring it up in early days. and make it clear i'm changing subject

along lines of "enough of this gloomy talk"

or something whereby it cant be mistaken as any other way. and if they return to the subject i'm quite put off that fella.

inthemistsoftime · 26/02/2009 19:08

I do find it difficult to talk about exs, I never do unless pressed, there are far more interesting things to talk about.

inthemistsoftime · 26/02/2009 19:10

wheres holly this eve?

ridingjoker · 26/02/2009 19:11

yeah, unless it's in relation to something your taking about.

i,e they ask what arrangement is with dc and exdp so they know when your free

that i dont mind.

but interrogation to why you split and what happened i'm not a fan off.

i dont mind giving a simple explanation. in my case the standard response when asked why not with exdp is "gambling addiction"...and thats as far as i'll be pressed in the early days.

inthemistsoftime · 26/02/2009 19:15

I must be so easy to talk to, a shoulder to cry on cos I get loads of guys off loading on me about their exes wtf.

I want one that doesn't have a demon exe in the back ground cos I certainly am not a demon ex.

ridingjoker · 26/02/2009 19:21

diver has been divorced ages and gets on with his ex which is nice change.

marvelman just got divorced before xmas. that may still be a lurking psycho....perhaps she's in brownies?

inthemistsoftime · 26/02/2009 19:23

hey rj, hang onto that diver fella, hes a gem!
