aseriouslyblondemoment · 16/02/2009 00:13

tall enough to reach

OP posts:
Remotew · 16/02/2009 00:18

lol, just been watching him on U tube. Ages since I've seen it.

lou33 · 16/02/2009 00:20

5ft 5

Remotew · 16/02/2009 00:23

So all these vertically challenged men that contact us shouldn't be overlooked then? Not that I should care at 5ft 2 but it still puts me off.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 16/02/2009 00:25

yes but they're not KELLY

OP posts:
lou33 · 16/02/2009 00:26

sft 5 is 2 inches shorter than me in my stocking feet, but i would with kelly

i started a thread once about dating men your own height or shorter and had some very unhappy posters on it

anyway am off to bed, stocking up on beauty sleep while i can

night

lou33 · 16/02/2009 00:26

5ft 5 i mean

Remotew · 16/02/2009 00:28

Night, sweet dreams.

I'm OK with any height that's the beauty of being small, but I generally go out with tallish men. Don't know why after seeing Kelly.

I'm off to bed too.

elmoandella · 16/02/2009 07:39

kelly jones....no sorry ladies, not for me. he's like a little dirty pixie. a cute one though. but i'd rather put him on the mantlepiece as an ornament than sleep with him.

n1 - the colleges here do hair for free for training. and will fix it for free if they make a bad job. trouble is with dying you cant fix it same day. certain colours need a few weeks to let the colour settle and then they can fix it.

elmoandella · 16/02/2009 07:41

oh and diver text to say he was back at boat(left me at 3pm to go.Didn't get there till 9.30pm)

and could we meet for lunch again.said if he played his cards right we may have dinner instead.he says he's only meeting if i allow him to pay for the whole meal

i shall not complain.

inthemistsoftime · 16/02/2009 07:55

nah Kelly Jones doesn't do it for me.

heard nothing from my friend, so am moving on.

elm, am pleased date went well, have you arranged for the next one?

N1 · 16/02/2009 07:57

3am?? You must have lots to talk about... Diving and all that. does dancing attract people? And do single people learn to dance to meet other people?

inthemistsoftime · 16/02/2009 07:59

N1, I think it was 3pm not 3 am.

N1 · 16/02/2009 08:03

and who has learned to dance.

elmoandella · 16/02/2009 08:03

inthemist - repeat the mantra of "he's a wanker"

haven't arranged.cant arrange another date as no idea when he's coming back.which is nice actually.i'm getting pressurised to squueze in a night with girls next time i'm free first.trying to arrange a night with him too would leave me feeling stressed.

i'm not great at going out and leaving kids when they are so little. i feel guilty for asking someone as they are my kids and i should be watching them iykwim.

but this is just perhaps a bit of risidule(sp?)of the rules exdp had imposed.

i do baby sitting swaps with my brother.but i still feel guilty as i watch his 10yo who is a great lad. he has my 2 toddler terrors

N1 · 16/02/2009 08:08

Corr. Let me be quick to apologise for misreadieg. I am using my phone to keep up to date. Thanks for the correction.

elmoandella · 16/02/2009 08:08

i've been to salsa classes. which was fab fun BC. but mostly women. some guys. but they tended to be there with their gf's.

also did a modern dance group. it was all girls except my brother though he did well with the ladies.lol

i am naturally quite a good dancer. but i think thats more to do with growing up plating various musical instruments and being able to keep time to music.

and dancing on your own or wih a group of friends is fun. shouldn't be taken seriously.

dancing with a fella is a bit like sex i feel. if your compatible and have similar rythyms it will go fabulously and be great fun.

however...if you cant find each others stride or find your bodies dont match up well(size wise) then it will be hopeless.

elmoandella · 16/02/2009 08:10

platying not plating, with not wih,

and n1 it was a non stop chat(not just about diving). but 10am till 3pm

inthemistsoftime · 16/02/2009 08:10

I think baby sitting swaps are a brill idea, and I am sure that your bro is just glad he gets the opportunity to get out once in a while.

I am always happy to have other peoples children as well as my own as it keeps mine occupied.

I was chatting to another single parent friend of mine and we came up with the idea of a group of single mums moving in together to support each other.

A good idea in essence but difficult to carry out in reality, as shown on that tv programme last year, where they had 10ish women sharing a large house. Some people just cant live with other people.
