It does take a while to move on , it took me until last year to feel I could want to be with someone and we split up in 2001 , though think I was an exception rather than the rule!

Pinkchampagne · 08/09/2007 15:19

He text me last night & asked if I wanted to go out again when he got back from his holiday. Not sure whether to meet him again or not.

if you are not sure then i would

i think seeing him again after a period of absence will make you sure one way or another

i got rid of my young man yesterday btw

Pinkchampagne · 08/09/2007 15:48

You didn't!!! Why??

OP posts:
Pinkchampagne · 08/09/2007 15:49

Thought it was the start of a great romance!

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 08/09/2007 15:50

she dumped him because i didn't fancy him

lou33 · 08/09/2007 15:52

because he wasnt making the effort to stay in touch since he left on monday

so i told him if he was unable to do that, then he could dial 0800 rentafuck instead of coming to see me

then he tried to speak to me on msn and i tore a strip off him and told him i was making other plans for this weekend

i have a date lined up with someone for next weekend, i think, anyway

lou33 · 08/09/2007 15:52

plus what zippi said

Pinkchampagne · 08/09/2007 16:01

Lol! Good on you, you tell him!

Another date already?! I can't keep up with you!!

I hadn't heard from this guy at all until last night (he apparantly went in the water with it!), and was starting to think "Why hasn't the git contacted me?" then wondered why I was bothered seen as last weekend I was having serious doubts about him! I am a strange one!!

I have told him to let me know when he gets back, and we can maybe arrange another night out.

It being his mobile phone btw! I am tired & hungover today, so apologise for making no sense!

zippitippitoes · 08/09/2007 16:03

ah that is the treat them mean effect in action

if he had been in touch you would have still been thinking take it or leave it

it's like only wanting to buy something when it has just sold out

lou33 · 08/09/2007 16:05

agree with zippi

also, if the spark isnt there, we want it to be us who do the ending , not them

Pinkchampagne · 08/09/2007 16:06

Very true, zippi! Once they become a bit more of a challange, I become more interested!

OP posts:
Pinkchampagne · 08/09/2007 16:07

Agree totally, lou!

OP posts:
lou33 · 08/09/2007 16:07

i am exactly like that too, i like a bit of a chase

but not in the recently ex ym case

zippitippitoes · 08/09/2007 16:09

i know that if i switch msn on this guy is oing to pop up and want to talk to me, but if i had it on and he wasn't popping up then i would be thinking why isn't he

perverse isn't it

Pinkchampagne · 08/09/2007 16:10

No, there is chasing & there's chasing isn't there?
they just need to be a little bit of a challange, don't they?
I have always liked a challange, which is probably the reason I married a git!
Will try not to take on too big a challange from now on!!

OP posts:
Pinkchampagne · 08/09/2007 16:11

Ohhh, which guy, zippi??

OP posts:
lou33 · 08/09/2007 16:11

yes thats exactly it

lou33 · 08/09/2007 16:12

oh zippi email me your msn address and i will add you

Pinkchampagne · 08/09/2007 16:19

Went out with some friends last night & consumed rather a lot of wine.
Am wondering why I have a driving instructors card in my bag...did I try to arrange myself some driving lessons last night?!
