Nellie, initially my w*nker radar was probably a bit faulty. I'd been off the dating scene for 11 years. I did get better at spotting the dentally challenged perverts but I then seemed to err into very boring! My last but one date was with a structural engineer who talked for 90 mins about the different properties of concrete. Actually that is unfair of me, he did talk for quite some time about his aortic anuerism as well!
I realise I am probably not selling internet dating very well, but I really did have alot of fun with it & it was a huge ego boost.

Do you know, I thought that if it was made into a tv series, people would think that the script writers were taking the p*ss! I would say that at least 14 of the 16 dates had hilarity value. Must shut up now. I'm sure my experiences were not typical. Fortunately Green Wing is starting soon, so I can't horrify you further!

Re the many children thing, I am reconciled to minibuses, as Ive got 4. But, you need a special licence to drive anything with more than 8 seats. So, you + 3 children + future wife...that means you've got to go for someone with 3 children or less, or a bus drivers license!

there are loads of very nice, serious girls on there. But they are not the ones who post the honeypot photos IME...

good question mummypumpkin! Not entirely sure. Maybe they thought I was a real goer and couldn't wait to give them a bj! They struck me as being laughable & sad. Bizarre really, as they were both quite nice looking and had seemed quite normal to chat to by email & on the phone.

Hi.. newbie here. In reply to Solo Parent Dating sites... I don't know of any that particularly relate to us solo mummies and daddies. Please enlighten me.
And yes if anyone has had dealing with them, success or otherwise then fill us in.

I not used these sites but I think they both have free dating sections for lon parents.
