Lol, no she'd have to drink Shloer in case she got 'tipsy'

YouCantCrackMeImARubberDuck · 28/03/2006 20:52

when I went to go speed dating i waited in the downstairs bar and clocked the contestants as they came in and went upstairs. I finished my drink and left

Im with caligula - theyre all crap. meetic is amusing though.

havent tried speed dating. It might be a bit difficult with me trying to thumb through my German dictionary with only 7 minutes to talk.Sad

wobblyknicks · 28/03/2006 20:57

Got to leave work now, see you later

YouCantCrackMeImARubberDuck · 28/03/2006 20:57

YouCantCrackMeImARubberDuck · 28/03/2006 20:58

how you doing, btw. Email me - my old comp died and have lost your address.

Has anyone here actually tried speeddating? Apart from jmg who bottled out.....

YouCantCrackMeImARubberDuck · 28/03/2006 21:03

I think speed dating would be much more fun if you go with a friend, female or male

ggg, have you expained to dh that you would only go for your friend?

WideWebWitch · 28/03/2006 21:05

jmg, )that's sooo much easier to type!) what are you looking for? Could we go and have a quick look and see if we could find her? Go on, you know we like a challenge!

ggglimpopo · 28/03/2006 21:05

I think as a Frenchman he knows that the French male often doesnt give a damn whether someone is married or not. He finds it very strange that I would even consider going with her as moral support. I would find the whole thing fascinatingGrin

YouCantCrackMeImARubberDuck · 28/03/2006 21:07

www, I think I'm too fussy, don't think even the power of mn would work!

OP posts:
YouCantCrackMeImARubberDuck · 28/03/2006 21:10

or maybe I am subconsciously not letting it happen.

OP posts:
WideWebWitch · 28/03/2006 21:12

Yeees, I expect it's the latter! Oh well, you change your mind you know where we are!

Nightynight · 28/03/2006 21:15

hello ggg - yes I will. I'd love to go speed dating, shame Im so far away! You can speed date most of the English and American guys in Mch at the toytown curry nights. Some of them are gorgeous, but some are the sort of lads who think that all women are feminists. And if I meet the guy who posted on the toytown munich website "women should be beaten and not heard", he'll hear my opinion about his sense of humour.

jmg - some people win the lottery too...sigh

wobblyknicks · 29/03/2006 09:17

Yes I hate the name, the dildo one is ever so slightly better but gives people a really weird sordid impression of you - at least let them talk to you before they get that impression!! Grin

what was wrong with jmg?

wobblyknicks · 29/03/2006 09:19

....and maybe you're just going for people who you know in your heart will let you down because you're expecting everyone to let you down, so why not pick someone who'll do it sooner rather than later. just try everything with an open mind and if none of them are the woman of your dreams then you're not really any worse off.

jmg1 · 29/03/2006 09:42

this morning I am back to me, are you happy?

wobblyknicks · 29/03/2006 09:45

WAHEY!!! Happy with the name change but grumpy as hell because I've had 4 hours sleep.

jmg1 · 29/03/2006 09:53

was it worth staying awake for?

maybe \link{http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?world=0047\this}will cheer you up

jmg1 · 29/03/2006 09:55

oh I forgot \link{http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=3738\this} is where you live

wobblyknicks · 29/03/2006 10:03

Oh wow, how did you guess that the idea of having endless rain compared to someone else having endless sun would cheer me up? And it certainly wasn't worth staying up for - dd just decided she would wake up at 9.30 and then not go to sleep until 3am - couldn't get her to go to sleep no matter what - ARGH. And now she's happily having a lie in, should get her up but I can't be arsed Angry

jmg1 · 29/03/2006 10:30

can you have a power nap while dd is sleeping
