Oh why not. Shall we all try to book a holiday in the same week at, say, a cheap/cheerful caravan/camping place in the UK?

It'd be such a laugh if lots of us went.

goingroundthebend4 · 23/01/2011 08:42

Swallowed we can't find as their is none

gillybean2 · 23/01/2011 08:56

To find the lower prices at Cambersands search for a 4 night break starting 1st august.
When the list comes up change the order of the list to Price [asc] and you get some lower prices at the top then.

Like here

gillybean2 · 23/01/2011 08:58

ok so that link didn't work. And I can't get it to link to it... Confused

Basically just search the dates and changing it to show it in ascending order not default order.

Gilly I have tried and there does not seem to be any coming up most sites do week breaks in main holidays

if I'm going to spend £700 rather do at cp

ra29needsabettername · 23/01/2011 09:11

May also be interested. Ds will be 14 so also depends on whether there will be other teens going.

What about a weekend somewhere first?

gillybean2 · 23/01/2011 09:13

GRTB - it's a 4 day break not a 7 day break. Maybe that's why you're not getting lower prices..?

gillybean2 · 23/01/2011 09:14

swallowed some people are thinking of going in may half term when it is cheaper

goingroundthebend4 · 23/01/2011 09:23

Ra29 mon-frid tend to be cheaper than weekends

I do have teens but also 2 younger ones makes holidays intrsting

goingroundthebend4 · 23/01/2011 09:32

Have found £496 for a bronze caravan in August if Anyoned intrested in it but think I might look more may half term

goingroundthebend4 · 23/01/2011 09:36

Swallowed the plus side is that all your activties are included and a lot depends size of family must admit I always look for where there's things to do included otherwise it bumps it up needing days out and family of five does bump up a lot

Prettyfull · 23/01/2011 10:43

Hi,...i came on here to find out info for holidays and this all sounds great.

I have one dd whos 6 she'l be 7 in August which is when i want to go away,..altho im flexible can go anytime in summer holidays,..prefer the first week or two August before her birthday.

I live in London and wish to travel down to Whitsable for a weekend break to a caravan park if anyone would wana to join me???

Money and travel (as i dont drive) are the main factors for me,...which is why i have picked Whitsable as its the easiest for me to travel to by train.

Also....oh dear i sound picky,...id prefer a non smoker too lol :-)

TheConstantGardener · 23/01/2011 10:43

I'd be curious for definite. May h/t would be better and I'd prioritise good company over location/price (lets face it a holiday park doesnt appeal on some levels but on a practical one I can see it has huge benefits!). As a first meet up/getting to know one another exercise I think it would work well and therefore 4 nights not so bad an idea.

x
