I hate it when coke explodes.

Carrot has just gone. Weirdest set up in the world but so comfortable now we're set. He's got six years to find true love Wink (as have I). He was up for only three years.

So. Back on POF and OKC. Had a couple of messages last night :)

WingWoman · 07/11/2010 14:51

Lol he's just added me as a fave on POF.

DD1 told XH about me sending the parents evening text to Carrot Blush.

So. I am v good friends with XH. I am match making for the man I am sleeping with. And I am talking to Curly on OKC (name based on hair seems simple enough).

As I explained to Carrot this morning... this is only weird if you compare it to sane people.

WingWoman · 07/11/2010 18:24

Just sent a message to ManA on fb. I've spoken to various people online, and except for Carrot - he has been the one it just all came easily with. Told him I can't guarantee to be The One or that it won't all end in heartbreak, but if he fancies a drink some time to let me know.

Janos · 07/11/2010 18:26

:) eve. Was that your great neice? Saw your FB post. There is no WAY you are old enough to have a great neice - no way!

WW - your love life sounds very complicated.

Oh and that date I went on...would it be dreadfully immature to say SCORE?! Grin

WingWoman · 07/11/2010 18:33

:o DETAILS!

Nah, v simple. I met the right man at the wrong time, I am therefore using him for what I can, whilst I can, whilst trying to find the right man at the right time Wink

Janos · 07/11/2010 18:38

That sounds a little like me WW :)

Well, tbh I was thinking today I felt a little tired and might cancel as I just had a couple of hours anyway. Then I walked into the pub where he was, thought mmm, very nice - and his face lit up when he saw me. Very flattering!

Things developed from there, chat flowed easily, we had a good laugh and we will both meet again asap.

Things with PMM taking an interesting turn. He sending friendly messages, asking to chat and wanting my opinion on all sorts of things. Could develop into a friendship, maybe? I would like to think so, you can never have too many friends.

Hello all

Just dropped DD1 back to boarding school so only me and the little one again, therefore much less arguing :)

Not much time to myself this week really, it's parents evening til 8pm Tuesday and 6pm Thursday, but have managed to arrange for solider to pop round tomorrow evening while DD2 is at Guides Blush

Good luck in your hunt, flame - give the veggies a wide berth this time!

lou33 · 07/11/2010 19:31

evening all

we officially had our first proper row today, but its all ok now

i felt better after pouring his fry up on the floor in front of him Grin

Janos · 07/11/2010 20:10

lou, I am APPALLED by that behaviour.

Really, really shocked.

What a waste of good food!

Wink
lou33 · 07/11/2010 20:29

it's ok it wasnt mine :)

Janos · 07/11/2010 20:32

Hmmmm...did you at least get to eat yours?

lou33 · 07/11/2010 20:41

the dogs enjoyed dp's too

Monty27 · 07/11/2010 20:49

Lou - Grin at fry. Don't mess with the Lou Grin

Janos - sounds vee promising Smile

Eve - it's lovely having a baby around, I've been spent some time with my great nephew last week. He's gorgeous. :)

WW - so, you and carrot are now fwb?? As long as you're cool with that??

SCL - sounds like a nice evening :)

Hi to everyone :)

Janos · 07/11/2010 21:07

Grin lou - that's all right then!

Hi Monty, yes...fingers crossed. I had good vibes :)

lou33 · 07/11/2010 21:14

i thought i was very restrained, i almost went and emptied it in the bath with him

Monty27 · 07/11/2010 21:22

Janos - woohoo!

Lou - lol, did you make him another one? Grin

I know someone who threw a pan of spaghetti bolognese at their partner, and then stood and cooked another one lol. (No, it certainly wasn't me).

WingWoman · 07/11/2010 21:22

Ooh Janos sounds good!

Lou Shock what was it about??? To waste fry up it had to be BIG imo.

Yup, fwb, sort of... it is more than friends tbh... more heart to hearts tonight. The marriage and kids is more the thing than the magic. We both ended up v tearful Blush. He was asking why I was so wing womanish, and I said that I knew that he wanted the marriage/children with someone who was starting it all too, experiencing it all together for the first time, and that if it wasn't for that then I would be making a fight for him, but as I am not that person and nothing can rewrite the past, I want to see him with that right person. He agreed that if he had already done that stage, that the magic wouldn't be a big enough issue to stop us.

Being grown up is hard. But it is right. I wouldn't want to stop him having that for anything in the world. He has 3 years. If he hits 35 and isn't there, then we go for it. It is worrying how much of a firm plan that is sounding rather than just the normal "if you're single when we're 40, I'll marry you" kind of deal Blush.

This saga is far from over is it? Hmm

lou33 · 07/11/2010 21:28

probably not flame :)

tbh it shouldnt have been as big an issue as it turned out to be, but it just evolved

and had he not said he wanted a fry up before the niggle started, and i had let the niggle go and cooked a fry up, only to be told when i presented it that he didnt want it, then i wouldnt have seen red

anyway its all done and dusted now and we have been laughing over what would have happened if i had tipped it into his bath with him etc

we had to have a first proper row eventually , and nearly 11 m isnt bad going

and neither of us are simmering over it which is good

lou33 · 07/11/2010 21:29

oh and i did make him another one a couple of hours later once he admitted he only said he didnt want it cos he was being silly, and was in fact starving

but it wasnt as good as the original one Grin

Monty27 · 07/11/2010 21:29

WW - I'm not sure whether I've missed something as I've been skimming. Did he tell you he loved you recently or am I getting it wrong?

WingWoman · 07/11/2010 21:34

No. He hasn't told me he loves me. He's told me I am amazing and fabulous :)

WingWoman · 07/11/2010 21:35

Lol @ the fry up scenario :o

lou33 · 07/11/2010 21:40

i would have taken pics of him bathing in a fry up

if i thought i could have escaped with my life that is Grin

Janos · 07/11/2010 21:57

Now, if I had just spent ages preparing a meal for someone and they said they didn't want it, I would be pissed off too.

11m - is it really that long? Wow!

WW that sounds so complex, my head would be spinning! The webs we weave eh.

My problem now is, I want to go and see a film with..lets call him..ummm...Pub Man (PM). Prob is, no spare time this week and DS with me all w/e. What to do?

I know babysitter is obvious solution and I have mates/neighbours who would probably do it but I feel a bit awkward asking, IYSWIM? Plus I'm usually knacked on a work night anyway.
