I’m just place marking until OP confirms what the question is

Forgot to give my opinion on the loudness aspect. I don't think London English people are especially loud, really. English people in general are not especially loud compared to some other cultures and nationalities, and I should know. I've lived in several countries with people from just about everywhere.

I sat in a small bar in a country house hotel with a bunch of Americans on a coach tour the other week. Now they were loud. They seem incapable of not projecting their voices as if addressing the entire room.

Also I've been on London buses with West African ladies sitting right next to one another but booming to one another as if they were on opposite decks of the bus. Very jolly and good natured, but far too loud for my delicate sensibilities. Italians are also loud and they always seem a bit angry.
