Wow we filled the thread guys. So as I was about to Say UR you've probably had squirrel if you've eaten Chinese . Think I've had most things. Just don't ask eat. Roasting hot here, very busy but having a blast. Enjoyed our new gym yesterday and picnic in the park tonight which was wonderful. Live music, handsome young men - need I say more.

mananny · 08/12/2008 01:59

LOL @ SB

SuperBunny · 08/12/2008 02:04

Sorry

jabberwocky · 08/12/2008 02:23

Have emailed you with his email. I talked to him earlier so he knows I'm arranging something I guess I just fret a little that he seems to work all the time lately and stress about same. I told him he needs to get out more and forget about the office for a while.

jabberwocky · 08/12/2008 02:25

Oh, and sent him your email so surely you guys can get in touch one way or the other [hgrin]

mananny · 08/12/2008 02:26

Don't be, I am just laughing cos my whole life is flashing before my eyes and here's Jabber throwing a healthy young male in my direction LOL.

jabberwocky · 08/12/2008 02:26

oops, it was f for festive not h for holiday, lol

jabberwocky · 08/12/2008 02:27

I hope you guys get together before he comes home for Christmas

mananny · 08/12/2008 02:32

Is he a Brit too then? Your surname is my nephew's name, the exact same spelling, spooky!

jabberwocky · 08/12/2008 02:40

Wow, that is spooky! Actually I am one of the very few (or only?) Americans on MN who really has no connection to the UK at all I stumbled onto the site about 4 years ago when I was having terrible depression after ds1 and got hooked, lol.

I told him it would be a great change of pace to meet someone from another country and tbh he just really needs to be around someone who can talk about new things. He is so conscientious about work that he has trouble letting it go when a project is going badly and the current one has been difficult from the get-go. And he really is quite fun actually.

mananny · 08/12/2008 02:42

I just emailed him and told him his aunt was insisting I drag him away from his office for a coffee, so he'll either be mortified or up for the challenge LOL.

jabberwocky · 08/12/2008 02:47

Yay! I think it will be great. And I'm really glad you took the initiative. He's at that place where I was afraid he might put it off iykwim. Something about a geek working under him who screwed up a week's worth of programming

jabberwocky · 08/12/2008 02:49

OK, I'm actually going to try for a super early 9:00 bedtime. I just can't seem to get caught up on my sleep lately. One son or the other has been waking up with stuffy nose, bad dreams, etc almost every night. fingers crossed for tonight.

Will check in tomorrow

mananny · 08/12/2008 02:51

Nighty night

dooneygirl · 08/12/2008 03:01

One of the few with no connections, Jabber. Me too. I can't think of anyone else, though.

It was a Lhasa Apso. And he was housebroken, he just went to the bathroom when he didn't get his way. DH said the breeder called it something, that it is an actual thing that a very few of them do.

Our Christmas tree is now up and decorated. One side is much heavier than the other, as they only used part of the tree to decorate. I've been trying to discretely spread things out, and will do more when they're sleeping.

Do all of us get to know how coffee went if the nephew is up to it?

SuperBunny · 08/12/2008 03:07

Of course we do! Right, mananny?

My tree looks a bit like yours - all the decorations are in the bottom right-hand corner. I didn't have the heart to move them.

mananny · 08/12/2008 03:09

LOL, okay I'll let you know if/when I hear back from him ...

Of course a little bit of potential competition might shake my current bloke into making some kind of a decision on the whole are-we-aren't-we issue.

SuperBunny · 08/12/2008 03:10

Um, is anyone on MSN?

SuperBunny · 08/12/2008 03:11

Bit of healthy competition is good, mananny

mananny · 08/12/2008 03:17

I am but on my hotmail addy, I'll email it to you SB.

SuperBunny · 08/12/2008 03:23

SuperBunny · 08/12/2008 05:21

jabberwocky · 08/12/2008 13:38
