Just an update..we've found a nice double glazed,4 bed house,with nice garden. So that's one stress off the last.

She was beautiful and she slept with her Mummy all night. Her poor neck looked so sore and swollen. She looked as though she would have been very poorly. Her hands and feet were perfect.
I woke up at one stage during the night annoyed that they were making so much noise. I thought" Oh shutup before you wake the baby!" Then I remembered,it didn't matter.
It was such a long painful labour,it's not fair that I don't get to keep her

Were the staff nice to you? Did DH come to see you after? Hope you're being taken care of at home.

I'm sorry AB, it's just so unfair. Don't know how you can bear it. Hope you're getting some rest.

The staff were...okay. One was really abrupt and insensitive. They left me on my own a lot,in pain. I had to beg for drugs for the pain. Scream, at one point.
I didn't think they would let me suffer so much. As if the emotional pain wasn't enough to bear.
Dh didn't come. I just wanted to be alone.
He picked me up today and had lots of questions,and tears.

It's just dreadful AB. I can't imagine..,I'm just welling up reading your posts...I'm so sad for you. .

Think the drugs are wearing off. I feel pretty rubbish today. Bit like I've been hit by a bus. Very tired. Just going to stay in bed. It's mum's birthday tomorrow.What a shit visit she has had...again. Usually I'd make a cake and a meal etc.I haven't even got her a card or present. Poor Mum

Velcro boy is better but still sleeping with us. He is fascinated by my lip.I have cold sore (no wonder) he keeps going to kiss me andthen staring and pointing and saying "yukky" I hope he sleeps in the cot tonight. I'm so beat

Give yourself time AB. You won't just pick up from where you were, but I'm sure you know that. It will take time to grieve. This would be a hard thing to deal with anywhere, let alone in a country you've only lived in for a few months.

How so AB? What have you done today? Have you had any time to rest at all?

Please don't worry about your mum's birthday. I honestly think she'll not be expecting anything given the circumstances.
