littlest - would you believe the bloody thing is done, has been since Friday. All I had to do was print it out & hand it in today. I'm off to contact the lecturer now and hope she'll give me a few days grace to get it handed in.

I slept in DD1's (tiny) bed last night so I could be near DD2. She didn't do a lot in the way of sleeping, and they eye drops & antibiotics are a bit of a battle, but she seems to be improving a little. I'd be surprised if I got into uni this week though.

justabout despite our (as usual) dismal showing, I've been very proud to be Irish - there have been some very brave performances and some near misses. But we've a great hope in the ladies boxing from my home county.

Brilliant. One less stress!

I have to say, Starship is the most stressful place I've ever been (after US Immigration but that is another story). We got there today 30 mins early for DD's appointment to find the car park shut! Had to drive round and join the huge cue for the other one and just made our appointment by running and carrying DD for miles.

But the unexpectedly good news is that she has been discharged! The op worked and she can come off the drugs. And no more visits!

I had to go and pick dd (6.4) from school as she was in the sick bay. When I got her home it was clear there was bugger all wrong with her.

Either we move to Tauranga (do't really want to) and et the beach and the house with a bit of land etc OR,move to somewhere like Beach Haven.Torbay,where there are no big gardens,but beach/shops.civilisation,is near!

lso,really have to consider the airport is nearby. Mumwould have to fly to Tauranga.That would be 3 flights to get to us twice a year?! How long can she do that?

DP only has one week of work left before he leaves. Then we have 2 weeks to sort all the house out before he flys out on the 30th. Getting a bit anxious about it all now. Not really looking forward to being here on my own with the dc for at least a month but needs must and all that. I'm sure the time will pass before I can blink.

loll dh is in journalism at the moment but wants to move into Communications. Similar kind of stuff but more money. Loads of jobs in Aukland.
Dh found an article about a particularly bad case of child abuse that had happened in Beach Haven.It's put him off! But,he knows really,that these types of things happen everywhere (unfortunately) Wasn't sure what to make of BH really. Didn't have a centre as such,that we could find. It was more just a drive through kind of place.
Really need a weekend to explore. We had to leave before 3 to beat the traffic. Still giving the kids chance to play with their buckets and spades etc Then over 2 hours to get back. With the little one screaming more or less the entire time. And the older two deciding they neeed the toilet as soon as we hit the motorway! Stress!

xminerva exciting stuff, have you decided which areas to look round to live in?

ab can you get a house with quite a bit of land in Tauranga then? It is quite a fast growing place so should be ok for shops etc though obv not going to have as much going on as Auckland...how much land do yo want to get? Acres and acres? Half an acre?

Would your mum have to fly to Tauranga, it's about a 2.5 hr drive from Auckland isn't it? Though that means a 5 hour round trip if one of you goes to pick her up. She could always stay a night at the airport hotel in Auckland to recover from the flights a bit, then come down the following day.
