Hi all

It’s Kerr here, I wanted to post a quick update as I’m conscious Pamela hasn’t been on for a few days and the thread seems to have reached its limit.

Pamela hasn’t been feeling so good over the last few days - on a positive note, her bloods seem to have stabilised and, all being well, she might be ok for chemo round 2 in the next couple of days. She had a blood transfusion yesterday which, we hope, will also boost her energy levels. On the downside, her jaundice has returned, the bilirubin levels are increasing significantly. The CT scan at the beginning of the week showed no new blockages and our Consultant thought that some early necrosis of the tumour after the last chemo might be contributing, but nobody really knows what’s causing it. Further discussion to take place tomorrow. Seeing the jaundice is one of the worst parts of this, it’s so clear and obvious when it’s happening yet there’s nothing we can do to alleviate it.

Just wanted to let you know the latest. Please, please keep praying for her - she’s my everything, my world, and every thought and prayer is deeply appreciated.

Kerr

I had so hoped we would hear different news. I am so so sorry Kerr.

I don't really have any good words to describe how my heart goes out to you and your dear boy Jacob and Pamela's mother and all the other people who loved her. I am so sorry.

Pamela touched so many people. I am sure you are so proud of her. Also be proud of yourselves. You have been so brave. As she was.

Sending love from a complete stranger. And all my good hope for you.

I am truly sorry Kerr that you have lost Pamela. If there's any consolation, she fought it with everything she had.

You, Pamela and your family will be in our thoughts for some time to come. She was inspirational xx

Love and prayers to you all Kerr, Pamela truly was an amazing lady, I'm so very sorry for your loss 😔

Lethalinformation · 03/08/2023 13:33

Not referring much to the dreadful fake thread but hope you can take comfort from how many people posted on it genuinely sending their thoughts and condolences.

I've never seen, in 19 years, such an incredible outpouring of support to a fellow poster and their family. Posters giving names and locations is pretty unheard of and just shows how much care and concern was felt globally. Sending every bit of love and strength to you Kerr, Jacob and Pamela's mum at this devastating time xxx

No, there’s no confusion. Kerr said Pamela died last Tuesday.

Thank you Kerr for letting us know about Pamela. I am so sorry for your and Jacob's huge loss, and for your wider family and friends too.

None of us here really knew Pamela as you rightly say, but it was a privilege to read her brave, dignified and sometimes humorous updates as she sought to find the positives in her situation.

I wish you all strength and peace for the future. Rest in peace, lovely Pamela 💐

Marmunia10667 · 03/08/2023 13:39

I am beyond disgusted about the fake thread-there are no words.
Sending love and strength to you all ❤️

Cornishclio · 03/08/2023 13:41

My sincerest condolences Kerr and admiration for Pamela's fight to live. I am reeling from the evilness of the troll who set up the fake thread.

Take care and I hope you all take support from each other. She sounded like a wonderful lady.

jollygreenpea · 03/08/2023 13:41

TrueScrumptious

Thank you, for some reason Kerr's last two posts didn't show up.

I'm very sorry to read them, I had hoped they would have a lot longer together.

What is wrong with the poster that set up a fake thread, you truly are a sick nasty insensitive totally lacking in empathy and brain cells piece of scum.

StampOnTheGround · 03/08/2023 13:47

Oh Kerr, I am so so sorry for you and the entire family. From what we can see on here, you're a fantastic couple, great people and with a wonderful son.

I'll be thinking of you all xx

Choux · 03/08/2023 13:49

I am so sorry for your loss.

Pamela felt all the love and support that was expressed on these threads and I hope took some comfort from it during her illness. Wishing you and Jacob, her parents and wider family love and strength in the time ahead.

Thank you for updating us with your sad news.

EggOverEasy · 03/08/2023 13:57

I'm so sorry for your loss. It was clear in her posts how much she loved you and your son. 💐

Mattieispregnant · 03/08/2023 14:01

Sending you all much love and prayers at this time. I’m in Belfast and have followed Pamela’s journey closely. I pray that you have strength to face the days ahead.
