Pamela thread 6 - Bile Duct Cancer, Continued

Hi all

It’s Kerr here, I wanted to post a quick update as I’m conscious Pamela hasn’t been on for a few days and the thread seems to have reached its limit.

Pamela hasn’t been feeling so good over the last few days - on a positive note, her bloods seem to have stabilised and, all being well, she might be ok for chemo round 2 in the next couple of days. She had a blood transfusion yesterday which, we hope, will also boost her energy levels. On the downside, her jaundice has returned, the bilirubin levels are increasing significantly. The CT scan at the beginning of the week showed no new blockages and our Consultant thought that some early necrosis of the tumour after the last chemo might be contributing, but nobody really knows what’s causing it. Further discussion to take place tomorrow. Seeing the jaundice is one of the worst parts of this, it’s so clear and obvious when it’s happening yet there’s nothing we can do to alleviate it.

Just wanted to let you know the latest. Please, please keep praying for her - she’s my everything, my world, and every thought and prayer is deeply appreciated.

I am so sorry Kerr that Pamela has passed away and horrified too that someone faked the 7 thread. I sent my condolences on that thread but pleased you now see how much Pamela was genuinely thought of on this one. Sending love and best wishes to you, Jacob and all the family 💕

I'm so sorry Kerr. Pamela obviously was a beautiful soul, that came through in her writing. What also shone through was her love for you and Jacob. RIP lovely Pamela.

I'm sorry for your loss and thinking of you and your family today. Pamela touched so many of us here through these threads. She was a wonderful communicator who radiated love and shared an unerring and honest account of her experiences.

I responded to that thread. Pamela was the best of humanity, that lowlife is the worst. I am so so sorry for your loss Kerr. I didn't know Pamela but her braveness and personality touched so many of us. I will always remember her. My thoughts are with you and your son and your family x

So sorry to read your sad news. You have lost an amazing partner and Jacob has lost his mum at a pivotal time of his life. Pamela's mother and grandmother are also dealing with an unspeakable loss.

Pamela touched many of us. She was taken far too soon.

I also sent condolences on the fake thread...how anyone can do that is beyond me. I send you all my very best wishes....Pam's plight touched us all. What was very clear was how much she loved her family and how much she was loved in return. x

I am absolutely disgusted to learn thread 7 was a fake. What a sick lowlife.
I am so sorry to learn of your tragic loss, you did everything you possibly could but sadly no miracle forthcoming.

This is such sad news I like many others hoped that there would be a better outcome for Pamela, who fought her hardest to remain here with you, Kerr, and Jacob. I hope that you, Jacob, family and friends have time to grieve for Pamela, to remember her as only you can, and to rest from the traumas of the past months. I continue to hold you all in my thoughts and prayers.

So so sorry to hear this news. Much love to you , Jacob and your family. She was amazing - you already know this. She really did make people on here take stock and to try and see the good in every day and in the smallest things. Sending prayers and strength for you all at this incredibly sad time in your lives. The love you all had for each other shone through so brightly and that will always remain.
