lol cazboldy ds4 doesnt seem to be looking for it today. Maybe thats because ds5 hasn't had his today either.
Oh no psycomum5 good job its the hols. Mind you ds3 doesn't break up till Friday here.
Had sex last night for the first time since ds5. Was short but very sweet I was a bit scared though as I realy didnt feel up to it and thought obligated to dh as hes been such a patient man. But tbh I wish it had lasted a bit longer. He works lates all week so he's home to take ds3 to nursery in the morning so Im going to have to wait till Thursday night now which is his next rest day. Ah well good job were not ttc eh?

weblette · 31/03/2008 17:20

Oooh can I join in please?

I'm a SAHM with
dd - 8
ds1 - 6
ds2 - 4
and ds3 - 2 months

I confess to having help and a futility room but am hopelessly disorganised so would probably lose a child in the laundry mountain otherwise. Breastfeeding while entertaining three others is also "interesting".

kittywise · 31/03/2008 18:12

Sex? Sex? I'm very I haven't had any for an embarrassingly looooooong time

magnolia74 · 02/04/2008 16:38

Oh I have lost track
Been a busy and chaotic few days, and it's been miserable weather

Who was talking about sex??
I have to admit I can't go more than a few days without it Dh is more than happy to oblige

rowe · 02/04/2008 18:46

Psychomum5 · 02/04/2008 21:34

hellooooo all.

busy busy girly here.....DD1 turns 14 on saturday ( and !! she is growing sooooooo quickly!!!), so have been pressie buying and also looking after flames two yesterday!!!(they were all so good).

now in bed with the smaller people watching Narnia (lucy in it looks exactly like my DD2 did at that age....makes me all tearful actually. makes her embarassed tho as everyone notices an comments when they see the film!!!....ooh, plus.....the second one comes out this may/june soooo cannot wait. can you tell I am a Narnia fan).

anyhoo......been to poole park today and the monsters kiddies scooted round the lake, and they are now (hopefully) going to settle pretty bloody quick!!!!!

off out somewhere else tomorrow, altho not sure where yet as depends on the weather........I love the holidays and spending time properly with the kiddies with no time constraints.

only problem tho with the hols.....washing piles up as does the housework as I am out all the time!!!

gingeme · 02/04/2008 21:43

You have been a busy Mummy.
My holidays start on Friday when ds3 breaks up.
Going to collect my big boys from the airport tommorrow afternoon. Can't wait to see them. ds3 keeps on asking when we can get them, hes coming with me, its hard to explain to someone who has no idea of time.
ds4 not very well at the moment. Hes cutting his molars and has been very clingy.
Had ds5 weighed yesterday. Hes now 14lb 1 oz little oinky

ladytophamhatt · 11/04/2008 20:37

Ummmm, just coming back to this one because I need/want to sound this out to myslef more then anythng.

Today, I think I've nearly had a break through with making DH change his mind back. I told him I wanted him to cahnge his mind back again and he did his usual eyerolling and shaking his head. I said I really feel like we'll regret not having another in x amount of yrs, I know I will, he said his usual "don't you think 4 is enough" type comment and I had a lightening bolt moment.

I said " Well, 4 wasn't enough when it suited you...you wanted another one to start with and it was ok then"

He wasn't able to reply.

Knowing DH, I think that could be classed as a break through

Keep at him LTH!!!

I so wish we hadn't had the snip done now. I wouldn't have had another anytime soon but i am only 37 and i could have had one more in a couple of years

foxythesnowfox · 19/04/2008 15:23

ooh hello! Am I on here? I'm not sure, may I join you? I'll add myself to the list.

DS1 (6)
DS2 (5)
DD1 (3)
DD2 (9 mths)

Anymore? Don't know yet. Am feeling a bit old, just turned 38. I think I'm due a bit of a 'cling on to the last of my youth' phase! Which will mean buying some clothes in leopard print and going out one night drinking cocktails no doubt!

sorry

tasha22 · 19/04/2008 17:20

oooo can i join? im 22 and have 3 ds's aged 3.6, 1.6 and 8months and number 4 on the way

Psychomum5 · 19/04/2008 17:49

wow....this is growing rapidly......never knew there were so many 'larger family' mums about. welcome to the new ladies.

LTH.....how is it going with DH and #5 planning?? hope he is 'coming round' to the idea a bit better.

am feeling a litle 'headless chicken' like ATM...many appointments this week for physio/eye's/doctor/school/dancing fundraising/allergy clinic for me......etc etc.....[arghhhhh]

same again next week too

ah well.....tis the 'JOY' of having many it seems....

tasha22 · 19/04/2008 18:19

hiya Psychomum, im feeling the same atm ds1 has been refered for his eyes may need glasses, and ds3 has peadiatrics, an altrasound for his hips, hes to see plastic sergeon some time this week or next at least ds2 has no appointments coming up or my head would completely spin off lol cant do without a diary now. can i ask what kind of routines you all have and how you manage to give each child enough individual time?

foxythesnowfox · 19/04/2008 18:31

Tasha, if I had 4 children at age 22, I'd have 12 by now Do you think you'll have more? (I admit I am a wee bit !)

Psychomum5 · 19/04/2008 18:39

I have good routines now, but when they were tiny I it was less routine, more 'winging it'...!!!

mind yu, I could as there were less kiddies......routines get more and more defined the more I have had and the older they have got....school making them more so and easier to adhere to.

hats off to you, they are all so close and you are obviously still making the time to come on MN....not sure I could have done that when mine were that tiny, but who knows......my eldest is 14 now, and PC's at home were rare, let alone MN!

diary's or calenders are a must when they all have appointments....plus DH's indispensible help too.

oh, and also at that time, I had regular girls from the local college that were training as nannies. I am a nursery nurse and so knew that the college always needed families to send their girls out to, so rang and they came and visited and sent.....they especially like to send to mums with babies under a year, or several and the mum is expecting....you soulnd like you would pass on both counts.

they cannot be left with the children, but it was wonderful for the extra pair of hands...especially if said hands were about for appointments or food shopping......and also bathing!

tasha22 · 19/04/2008 20:43

Psychomum- that sounds great, i would love that just to have an 'adult' conversation and a cuppa im lucky that i have them all in bed for 7o clock so i get the me time tidying done

foxythesnowfox- i think dp would have something to say about it but in the far future when they are all at school i would like more. he still hasnt come around to this one yet. he gets quite stressed with them all and non are at school yet even though he works all day and sometimes isnt home until after they are in bed must be very hard for him ive started going to a mums and tods on a monday which makes a big difference as i find it hard to let them do the things they should be doing for their age as ds1 would like painting and playing with toys with more 'bits' but ds2 would be eating paint and bits but at the mums and tods they can all do the things suitable for their age.

im always being asked am i mad and have i never heard of contraception and i need to watch more tv ect but i love it. sorry for rambling

tasha22 · 19/04/2008 20:47

Psychomum- just had a peek at your pics and your kids are gorgeous. i would love a wee girl this time

foxythesnowfox · 19/04/2008 21:21

Tasha, when's your baby due?

Your boys are lovely BTW! Just checked out your pics

Spidermama · 19/04/2008 21:24

tasha I get dh to take mine out and I'm practically orgasmic at the prospect of an empty house to tidy and clean. It's so great whizzing round getting stuff done uninterupted. Some would say that's sad -- but I bloody love it!

tasha22 · 19/04/2008 21:27

foxythesnowfox- i done it espesially for the pic its usually tied in a knot lol.

Spidermama- no not sad at all! its better than tornados coming behind you lol

tasha22 · 19/04/2008 21:28

foxythesnowfox · 19/04/2008 21:38
