I’ve probably missed people out

to start off with something positive - this was a few yeshiva students response to antisemitism ❤️🕎

“Three Jewish college students from NJ were dancing at Denver International Airport. They said they were motivated to do this after the mass shooting in Australia: “We will not be scared or give in to the darkness, we will only add more and more light.” Happy Hanukkah!”

they’re playing my favourite zusha chanuka song, and one of them looks like DHs nephew who lives in America! Had to do a double take and check it wasn’t him!😆

Guess we got our answer on Burnham then

Burnham apologises for Starmer’s actions on Israel https://www.telegraph.co.uk/gift/f6d18d28fe964b68

Yes.

At least he has (so far at least) not bowed to the intense pressure that groups will be putting on him to call the Gaza war a genocide:

He stopped short of describing what was happening on the ground in Gaza as a genocide, saying that while there was “increasing evidence” of war crimes, it was for the international courts to make that ruling.

Also:

Mr Burnham sought to reassure Jewish communities that, despite his shift in position, he remained deeply concerned about the rise in anti-Semitism in the UK and “strongly condemned” the Oct 7 attacks.
