I read the posts on here with interest and often the subject of anti semitism comes up. I was brought up in a town in the South East. My mum gave me a book about Anne Frank when I was around 8 and I can remember asking ' what is a Jew?' as I had never met one. When I was about 14 a girl from northern Israel came to my school and I was asked to befriend her and help her settle in. I can remember being fascinated about her life in a Kibbutz and she used to show me
Hebrew writing. I don't recall ever hearing anything anti semitic about her or her brother as the only two Jewish kids - to my knowledge in the school. I also remember in my twenties encountering a group of lads from North London - white something and them having an absolute hatred for Jewish people. I can remember feeling utterly shocked as I'd never heard anti Jewish speak prior to this. Reading some of the recent posts on here it has made me wonder wherever there are pockets in the Uk with Jewish communities that experience antisemitism where the rest of the UK it does not occur as people simply have never met a Jewish person just their life- to their knowledge.Where I live I have only met 4 Jewish people in the Uk in my life and I am 47. The most Jewish people I have met were in Israel when I visited in 2000.

Well we already knew the Tories were, to the extent we almost expect it of them. The difference is the Tories are racist through and through about most minority groups, and barely try and pretend they're not, unlike the so-called "anti-racist" left.

I would never vote Conservative anyway, but antisemitism on the left presents a far greater existential threat to Jews in the West. In terms of voting, the centre or centre-left seems to me like the safest outcome at the moment.

Ugh. That's a really gross headline. I wouldn't vote Tory regardless, they don't exactly align with my values, but these kind of articles are helpful as they confirm I'm making the right decision.

Every reel on that post is deeply disturbing. I can't actually listen to Nick Fuentes speak because it makes me feel nauseous.

So, if I've got this straight, according to the truly great minds showcased on there: basically everything is a Zionist conspiracy for Jewish supremacy and the correct response to "Free Palestine!" is "Down with the Yehud!"(How exactly?) But there's no correlation at all between anti-Zionism and antisemitism. Riiiiiight.

This is truly groundbreaking stuff, someone should inform the other anti-Zionists they're doing it wrong because it would be a real shame for them to miss out on an invite to the white supremacist conference.

Saw this article about racism and antisemitism in France, which made me think of posters (and folk in general) who often slip up and accuse Jews of greater loyalty to Israel, or assume Jewish means Israeli.

on the thread or on the Instagram this was posted on? The thread is fine as its the Jewish sub, they have restricted comments on the Instagram but there's a few sensible ones that haven't been deleted yet but a lot of them are absolute trash, just pure stupidity with a topping of antisemitism

They dipped their toes into a bit of humanity for Jews and then thought well this is the most offensive thing ever written. It’s just the most stupid thing I’ve ever read and had the same thing as the rest of you when I first read it, like wait, what, I’m so confused what they’re apologising for, oh basic humanity, that’s what they’re apologising for and retracting. Normally I’m just rage at this type of thing, but for this one my eyes just rolled out of my head and down the street.
