Mumsnet is getting worse

Seriously. Is it the same few people just name changing or is it really this toxic in the UK? There is so much poisonous Jewish hatred on here. I'm not talking hatred of Israel, just vile antisemitism on so many posts now.

I truly think I have to step away before I lose faith in humanity. Why does MN seem to attract so many hateful posters? Maybe it's the anonymity.

I can't keep calling it out. Im exhausted and actually deeply disturbed by it now.

thanks everyone , I’m ok, was just upset. They didn’t hit our area, mainly fired a barrage at Tel Aviv, one area on the border, and areas in the merkaz near our area (that’s why you could hear the booms from our area).

Just discovered people don't know what the occupied Palestinian territories are and who a company's ban on selling in those areas mainly affects in a negative way

Can't even be bothered at this point to point out the facts or flaw in usingthat as an example. As in it benefits a company to not have to do business in the occupied Palestinian territories because of the logistics and politics. Yet they get to pretend to be virtus to people.

Think perhaps I need a break from mumsnet because my can't be arsed side is starting to appear when I see some arguments

I just reported a post in the new AMA Orthodox Woman thread. A nice, chatty interesting thread and WHAM, WHAT ABOUT GAZA. Can you imagine the OUTRAGE if some nice Muslim lady AMA was asked WHAT ABOUT 9/11??? It would be deleted instantly and the poster banned.

They deleted one part but not the followup so the poster is not banned. But someone asked why she should answer that question and I thanked them. It's a name unknown to me, but with all the (necessary) name-changing I can't really say.

I am genuinely staggered that some of the persistent posters on the Conflict section haven't been banned.

We can only keep flagging and explaining why. One has gone today. Mumsnet have messaged me.

Just wanted to pop on here and wish everyone a happy and healthy new year. I've only just been released from a rather long stay in MN jail 😅 a week turned into almost three, I think. It was actually really nice to have a break from it all. The hatred isn't nearly as bad out in the real world - they're much "braver" online. So anyone who is struggling with their mental health a bit, I really recommend just leaving MN for a little while and regrouping.

No sorry. It was already gone when I looked earlier.

Wish mumsnet would do an automatic private message with the post and reason for deleting it whenever they do that. I rarely get deleted but can't often remember the post when I do.

Though on new years they deleted one of my images with a message to Hamas on it. Not only is that questionable but it just goes to show some people on mumsnet do support Hamas or else it would not have been reported.

@untitledmum I didn't see it. Did you name a poster you weren't happy with?

I did checked when I noticed that.

Apparently some people are only watching the threads to report stuff that are obliviously Jewish threads or antisemitism. Which definitely says more about them than us.

They should really look at themselves in 2024 and reflect why they are doing that if they think they are not Jew haters.

Else maybe they know they hate Jews and are just sad racist people that spy on us because we are actually all rather fabulous 🍷

I remember now. I wrote something along the lines of:

When Israel leaves babies alone, its bad. When Israel takes babies to care for them, its bad. We just can't win.

I can't fathom why that would have been deleted!? Never mind.

Moderators should be asking posters who report posts from over here what they're doing snooping here in the first place. Couldn't be a clearer indication of bad faith acting
