Seriously. Is it the same few people just name changing or is it really this toxic in the UK? There is so much poisonous Jewish hatred on here. I'm not talking hatred of Israel, just vile antisemitism on so many posts now.

I truly think I have to step away before I lose faith in humanity. Why does MN seem to attract so many hateful posters? Maybe it's the anonymity.

Incidentally I was looking on Twitter at boycott stuff and came across some bloke who was aggressively spamming any relevant posts with lists of companies to boycott. When I scrolled back on his account I found a bunch of stuff about how the New World Order were using the Covid vaccine to render people infertile.

Follow the trail of these muppets and it always leads back to the New World Order 😂

Oh yes the lizard people. I just have never worked out if it is supposed to be the same as Jewish global conspiracy or what. Sounds like we are just part of it sometimes and other times it sounds like are the new world order. I suppose some of the conspiracy theorists may be as confused about the details as me. Else some might just want to totally blame the Jews for everything.

Thank you, that was an interesting read. Obviously some of it came from an American angle but a lot of it applied to the UK as well and antisemitism in general

I have been meaning to ask. Were you about during Covid. I remember having a few conversations about vaccines with an American poster. Can't remember the username but yours seems familiar to me.

I was here during covid. I joined MN around 2017 and work in healthcare, so I posted a lot about the covid vaccines, particularly the rubbish misinformation and conspiracy theories surrounding them.

I lurked on the Jewish Mumsnetters board quite a bit, too. While I am a Christian, I have always been fascinated by the shared roots and teachings of Judaism and Christianity, so I have possibly posted here previously as well. Just to be clear, I have nothing but respect and fondness for the Jewish people and abhor antisemitism.

Personally a fair few Jewish people get on my nerves and I often have no respect for them but they are my own relatives, so what can I do 😁

Sounds like I think all Americans sound the same or something but I do think we were talking some times during covid. Sorry if that comes across odd or stereotypical I don't mean it in that way.

Trying to remember what we spoke about but can't. Definitely vaccines and how things differ between American and UK vaccine and lockdown wise. I think perhaps you had one son but my memory is terrible these days.

Truly, I do have a son. He's almost 23 so he was in uni when covid started. I also have a daughter who just turned 22. She's graduating uni in May and getting married in June.

Did the American you were conversing with just have the son?
