Hello ladies, anyone doing an FET or IVF next month? I am on a 3 month down regulation protocol and just did my last lupron depot injection yay! I start embryo transfer prep on the 1st of November, it will be nice to chat with anyone on a similar timeline for support and banter to get us through 😊 Xx

Ive got a mid cycle scan on the 14th and transferring 20th if all goes to plan. I have had a past embryo not make it through the thawing process which is devastating.

Emerald1986 · 05/11/2025 20:52

FET all planned for tomorrow. Only have one embryo on ice so fingers crossed it survives the thaw as this is the second of our 3 nhs funded rounds

Wishingandwaiting2453 · 05/11/2025 21:20

@Emerald1986 Good luck!! I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow.

IndigoBluey · 05/11/2025 21:52

@Cornish13the bloods are for hep B&C and HIV and are valid for 3 months. Trying to see if can get them done cheaper elsewhere. Will ask GP but I’m expecting a no. Testing sounds very frustrating! I think you are very right to try and relax on your wfh days and enjoy PJs and eating nice things, that’s what I would be doing xx

Cornish13 · 05/11/2025 21:55

@IndigoBluey fingers crossed your GP will do them. Luckily although we’re private my GP will do most bloods and has also put levothyroxine on a repeat prescription for. Whenever I message in to check my TSH levels he just books it bless him. Some drs can be lovely and will help in any way they can. Xx

camelinastorm · 05/11/2025 23:33

@Cornish13 you can get them tests to do at home from the NHS, they send the kit to you and results in about a week.

camelinastorm · 05/11/2025 23:34

I'm having a major wobble, my period was due yesterday, but it's still not here if it's not here by tomorrow all the planned dates will be messed up 😬😬 why do our bodies do this 😬

Hopeandfaith1990 · 06/11/2025 07:29

Good luck @Emerald1986 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

2ndtimethecharm · 06/11/2025 12:30

@camelinastormAll my sympathy- I’ve been travelling abroad for my treatment and planning is a nightmare!

@Cornish13I’m hoping I’ve earned some karma by resisting testing this morning.

Cornish13 · 06/11/2025 12:41

@2ndtimethecharm I didn’t resist and negative on day 5 🙄 my last transfer was also negative at this point as well. Deep down I think I know it’s failed as I’ve got the same gut feeling as last time. So spent my morning laid on the sofa crying whilst watching the new season of Witcher

ALittleExpressive · 06/11/2025 13:36

@Cornish13 oh dear of you. Hang in there over the next few days. There are so many feelings to this journey.

G'day all, I recognise a few of you from our previous two rounds. 36 y/o gays, trying to have our first kid.

Round 1: Natural protocol 4BB, BFN
Round 2: Medicated protocol, didn't respond to synthetic oestrogen.
Round 3: Natural protocol 3BC..... tbc

Just had our round 3 transfer today ^ and it's our last frostie, so here's hoping. Transfer went smoothly and now I'm settling in to watch Seinfeld.

Wishing @Emerald1986 a successful transfer today and I think @PlanBFertility for tomorrow.

camelinastorm · 06/11/2025 13:39

@2ndtimethecharm tes same we are overseas also and have stupidly booked the flights it's becoming an expensive mistake

Marisadea · 06/11/2025 13:54

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing all good! I wanted to hear your thoughts about my line progression from day 4 to 7 past embryo transfer. Do they look good? I am scared of another chemical :(

@Marisadea They look like clear positives to me! Congratulations!

@Marisadea They look like clear positives to me! Congratulations!

Thank you! Do you think they lines are progressing nicely?

Mrsbutterfly24 · 06/11/2025 15:03

So the first scan of this transfer is done. My lining thickness was 6.45 which isn't bad for day 6 as I have 5 days of growth left till the transfer decider scan on day 11. It was also trilaminar which was good. However, my follicles are super tiny with the largest being 3.6mm, does the follicle size matter that much for FET? Wondering if we should carry on as is or whether we need to up the dose of the stim med slightly if anyone has any info?

Thanks ladies Xx

Yes it’s so clear!

Emerald1986 · 06/11/2025 18:58

Our one frozen embryo survived the thaw and the FET went smoothly (apart from thr clinic running 45 mins late!) So now to wait and see if it sticks 😬

2ndtimethecharm · 06/11/2025 19:06

@camelinastormIs your body cooperative yet?!?! Hope you can salvage a plan. My clinic was able to be slightly flexible for some scans.

camelinastorm · 06/11/2025 21:37

@2ndtimethecharm yes literally 2 mins after the previous reply it showed it's face, my clinic are very accommodating it's just my silly hubby booked flights so we now need to change our return flight but will keep the outbound and have a few chill days before the transfer

camelinastorm · 06/11/2025 21:39

@Marisadea they are fabulous lines super congratulations

@Emerald1986 hope all went well for your transfer

camelinastorm · 07/11/2025 08:16

Hi those who are doing FET how long after CD1 did your FET occur, from previous ones I have calculated it should be Sunday the 23rd however my clinic don't do them on the 23rd and looking at the 22nd I'm worried this day early can impact it am I better asking for the day after Monday the 24th

MyAgileZebra · 07/11/2025 08:57

@camelinastorm mine have been day 17 but was delayed to wait for my lining to thicken.

MyAgileZebra · 07/11/2025 09:01

I have just had my lining rescanned, it's day 15 and showing as 7.1 thickest with some areas of 7. They want to get ahead with the transfer but I feel like I want to wait. Has anyone else gone ahead with this kind of thickness? On my fresh transfer I was above 8mm but they keep saying as I struggled on my last FET they don't think I can get higher. I was on 2 patches and 3x 2mg pills this time. Thanks

camelinastorm · 07/11/2025 09:41

@MyAgileZebra thanks for the info, I have never had an issue with thickness, I do naturally drink a lot of beetroot juice though so this may contribute, last time it was borderline too thick they are saying CD16 will be ok over CD18 such a minefield isn't it.
Sorry I can't help with lining at 7.1 but my clinic transfers at anything over 7 if it is triple layered (cant remember the fancy name) all should be looking good for you I am normally on 4 x 2mg tablets a day so slightly less than you it's so hard to know what to do isn't it
