I thought I would start a thread for those scheduled for a FET in May.

Had egg collection in Feb, feels like forever ago now.

I have just started a medicated FET cycle. Started taking norethisterone today. Provisional transfer scheduled for May 27th.

Anyone else on a similar timeline?

@mumtrovert my lining scan was a green light today! Transfer will be Fri 23rd 😄 Although when they were scanning I heard them say “endometrial quality B” so of course I started googling, worried that mine wasn’t A… which I know is silly, because they were perfectly happy with it! I just want everything to be perfect, even though I know it’s out of my control really.
How have you found the pessaries today? It’ll be my first time on them, I’ve been told to do one in the back and two in the front each day, now just have to decide which time of day for which… 😂

@Blueskycat I found the best time to do the front one was overnight, that way it was less messy. But my clinic say as long as you mix it up they didn't mind.

I've finally got a date for my cycle, bloody period was super late so won't be transferring till 29th May. Also doing a slightly longer cycle as my progesterone was a bit low last time.

Will see how we go.

@Blueskycat that’s great news! Glad it went well. Yes no problem with the pessaries other than the unpleasantness of inserting it 😂 I wasn’t told to alternate! Just personal preference! I do one am and one pm. It is messier up the front! Wear a pantyliner!

@FrostedFlake this is also my third round and fourth failed fet. It’s so draining especially as I’m under sedation for each fet. I totally get what you mean about putting life on hold. There’s so much I haven’t done due to waiting around for collections and transfers and avoiding Zika countries. And the social isolation is really getting to me too - I don’t feel like seeing people because almost everyone I know just had a baby or is pregnant or is trying to get pregnant. 😫 just know you’re not alone, this process is brutal and it is hard to keep going on. I hope your lines darken in the coming days.

I’ve just tested at 10dp5dt and say this with a lot of trepidation as I have no clue what’s still to come.

But I’ve just seen my very first BFP. Over the years I started to worry I would never experience seeing two lines on a test so this alone feels like a major milestone for me.

Straight into worrying if it’s dark enough for 10dp and all sorts of other worries that I thought would all be over after seeing this!

Sending so much love to everyone in this chat and also for anyone starting the process just to remind you I’ve not really had a single symptom so try not to over think ❤️

@Impatientlywaiting321 I'm also 10dp5dt and I caved and did a early test this morning and it turned up positive. I feel very overwhelmed by it and don't want to get too excited about it just yet.

I feel a bit overwhelmed too - keep worrying that I’m actually still asleep and none of this is real. I’ve ran back upstairs to check the test a few times to check it’s stayed positive 🫣

@SamVan I really get you on the social isolation. I have a couple of treasured “safe” friends who aren’t TTC, or have experienced infertility too, but I’ve stepped back from so many friends/group things which feels so sad… but it really is an avalanche of pregnancies/babies in my circles at the moment! Sending lots of love ❤️

Hi all I caved and tested 7 days past transfer 😬 only a cheap home bargains 99p one but there is a line only very faint and it wasn't first morning, hoping it's true and it sticks will test next week on official test day and hopefully see progression

Aww congratulations to the positive testers, I'm 2dp5dt today, with my 4th transfer and I've just had pink when I wiped followed by really bad cramping that's not getting better, my last positive ended in miscarriage with no implantation bleeding. Just want to see if this is normal for the cramps to be so strong? Feels like my period pains

Hey @YourBusyZebra @Impatientlywaiting321 same official test day as me but just tested this morning 11 days post and an undeniable BFP! Wow! What are we meant to do now? Just tell the clinic and HCG blood tests in a few days?

also got a positive yesterday and today at 11/12DPT. First time testing but worried about the faint line and progression so think it’s a chemical (photos)

does anyone know if care fertility do beta or will have to look at privately as just want to know at this point. So devastated as this is our first positive after years of infertility and was our only embryo. Just feel broken from the whole process

@Anniekent1 that definitely looks positive and not faint to me! I’d get in touch with your clinic and see about getting in for a HCG test. I’m with LWC so don’t know about care fertility’s process etc.

@Toryory21the progression between the two though seems really low and I took a clear blue weeks one and it said I was only 1-2 weeks. So definitely don’t think the HCG is where it needs to be

this is just so cruel as it’s all we want and will have to go for another cycle if this does turn into that. Does LWC do blood tests ? There is one near us that as this point happy to pay private for to be able to move on.

@Anniekent1 yes LWC do blood tests. I am hoping that this turns out positively for you though.

If you do have to do another round … My first round in Feb 25 was terrible - totally failed with only one early blasto that didn’t implant (only one to use). Second round April/May 25 has been a totally different story. 5 great embryos (first implanted) out of 7 eggs! They learn so much from each round that can really help going forwards. A small comfort I know but hopefully this helps xx

yes our first round definitely seemed to be a testing round which is upsetting and takes so much time away. I think I know the outcome of this round but will def look to having a more positive round next time.

@Anniekent1 they look like strong positives to me, I found the boots ones never get that prominent, also the clear blue is from date of conception so are about right as 12 dpt is around 17 days after conception, they don't count weeks pregnant like the norm it's 100% from conception date progression is such a worry, I've also had a blighted ovum and so scared after getting the positive test that we won't get progression, everyone thinks once you get that poisi6you are relaxed and it's just not true

@camelinastormsorry you have been through that in the past. Must have been so hard and then makes future tests that more challenging

thank you I’ve been in tears all morning and just convinced that it’s a chemical as Everyone’s online and on Reddit for 12DPT/ 17DPO are so dark and almost dye stealers at this point. It’s hard as you want to stay guarded but now in limbo. Will try and book a private test and hopefully have an answer either way.

sorry for making it seem a bit low in the group this morning. Will try and be a bit more positive and fingers crossed it either works out or we can learn from it

@Anniekent1 will your early pregnancy unit do you 2 beta tests 48h apart if you explain your worries

@camelinastormi can try and call them. Hate feeling like I’m wasting peoples time and it is the weekend and probably not considered an emergency. Maybe they can do one for a few days time at least. We can get a private one in tomorrow so might just do that. God what a rollarcoaster
