I thought I would start a thread for those scheduled for a FET in May.

Had egg collection in Feb, feels like forever ago now.

I have just started a medicated FET cycle. Started taking norethisterone today. Provisional transfer scheduled for May 27th.

Anyone else on a similar timeline?

@mumtrovert hope all goes well with your lining scan today!

Thanks. The first measurement she took was 6.7mm, and my heart felt like it hit the floor. Then the next was 7.6mm, then the last one was 8.7mm! Then she did an abdominal scan to see the triple lining (which I completely forgot to ask if there was!) and she said there was another good picture of my lining, so she did another measurement at 8.7mm again. So hopefully I should be all fine for next week 🤞🏼 when is your scan?

Ah yay, that sounds like a good result then, and one step closer! Sorry to hear about the heart-in-mouth moment, must have been worrying…
I must admit I don’t really know what they are looking for but maybe I will read up tonight (my scan’s tomorrow lunchtime).

mumtrovert · 15/05/2025 11:08

She said to me that it’s to make sure the lining is thick enough. Should be minimum 7mm. Although the clinics probably all differ. Good luck for tomorrow!

OneQuirkyPanda · 15/05/2025 11:40

Hi guys, I’m pretty sure I’ve had a CP unfortunately, spent all yesterday evening crying, my lines never progressed past day 5, then started getting lighter yesterday, did a clear blue early response this morning which was negative. I’m devastated as it was our only embryo, but knew it was a long shot being a 4CC. We are taking some time off and planning to do a standard IVF cycle instead of a mild one later this year with a different clinic. Wish you all the best with your journeys xx

YourBusyZebra · 15/05/2025 12:04

@OneQuirkyPanda I'm sorry to hear that 😔 hopefully next time round it will work ❤️ sending you hugs ❤️

mumtrovert · 15/05/2025 12:25

Oh I’m so sorry @OneQuirkyPanda 😔

Anniekent1 · 15/05/2025 12:35

@OneQuirkyPanda oh I am so sorry to hear this. It’s such a tough cruel journey and the last few days must have been so hard for you. Please take the time to look after yourself will be thinking of you

Great news for your lining but what a stress to get there! Did they give you a date for transfer ? Will
you be on additional progesterone support

well done on another step closer!

FrostedFlake · 15/05/2025 14:45

I’m so sorry to hear that @OneQuirkyPanda that must be so heartbreaking after seeing a positive line.

Im worried the same thing might be happening so ive just stayed away from testing as i dont think I have the mental capacity to processes it at present.

please look after yourself ❤️

PixieJxoxo · 15/05/2025 14:55

@spamOFtheDAY @OneQuirkyPanda so sorry to hear both, definitely take care of yourselves xoxo

I tested this morning and got my BFP, got a 2-3 weeks on a clearblue digital and also a dark line on a cheapie easy at home. I'm cautiously optimistic, but had a bit of a spiral so booked myself in for private bloods so I can see what's happening with my hcg. I've had a chemical before, so I know that seeing that second line isn't the end of the story.

Anyway, had the bloods so I'll see what they say (except it took the nurse 4 times to get a vein and it ended up being the back of my hand, which has come out in a huge lump and bruise). I should get the results tomorrow and then I'll book in for another set on Monday. Keeping my fingers crossed.

SamVan · 15/05/2025 14:59

Bad news from me sadly. Positive day 4 and 5 then negative since then. I had a faint positive today on a blue dye test but negative on everything else so I suspect it’s an evap line. good luck to everyone still waiting and sorry @OneQuirkyPanda about the chemical. This journey is so rough.

mumtrovert · 15/05/2025 16:03

@Anniekent1 yes I’ll have the transfer next Weds! I’m starting my progesterone pessaries tomorrow, am & pm. Then I have a blood test next Tuesday to check my progesterone levels. Counting down the days now! Where are you up to in your cycle?

@FrostedFlake fingers crossed for continued 2 lines. Sending lots of hugs, its such a worrying time. Not easy at all.

@PixieJxoxo congratulations on your BFP! Fingers crossed for reassuring blood results. Keep us posted.

@SamVan so sorry to hear of your negative tests. Look after yourself xx 😔

FrostedFlake · 16/05/2025 08:05

I’m so sorry @SamVan and @OneQuirkyPanda. I’ve also tested today and the line is barely visible and has not progressed at all so it’s another chemical pregnancy. I just hope it doesn’t drag out to 9 weeks like the last time as it’s just so hard knowing things won’t work and just waiting.

the biggest congrats @PixieJxoxo this is such an exciting time!!! You must be over the moon ❤️

Best of luck to everyone still waiting to test as well as with the transfers and the dreaded 2WW ❤️❤️❤️

Impatientlywaiting321 · 16/05/2025 08:15

I’m so sorry @spamOFtheDAY @OneQuirkyPanda @SamVan @FrostedFlake sending lots of love ❤️

Congrats @PixieJxoxo ❤️

Good luck to everyone testing this weekend!

I have gone full circle from desperate to test to not wanting to at all now!

Anniekent1 · 16/05/2025 08:20

@FrostedFlakeoh gosh I am so sorry. Such a terrible journey and feeling for you having to go through this. No words can ever make you all feel better in this moment but know that you are not alone

mumtrovert · 16/05/2025 08:33

@FrostedFlake I’m really sorry 😔 do you have more embryos?

Good luck with the scan today @Blueskycat one step closer to transfer.

First morning of cyclogest.. haven’t missed these at all. Last time I used them I started bleeding from about week 7 till week 9. Which was obviously bloody nerve wracking through early pregnancy. Then someone told me to put it up the other way (😂) and it was fine. I have cervical erosion so I think it was just irritating my cervix after a while. So this morning was just lovely to be sticking things up my back side again 😫😫😂 the joys of IVF.

FrostedFlake · 16/05/2025 10:02

Thank you so much @Anniekent1 @Impatientlywaiting321 @mumtrovert ❤️

@mumtrovert we still have a couple but they are of lower grading and this was our fourth transfer after 3 IVF runs and I don’t know if I have it in me to do anymore. Maybe one more but it’s just so tough going through it all with the hope of it working out and then same thing keeps happening and you are left heartbroken and disillusioned.

I’m not sure if anyone else is the same but I feel like I put my life on hold while going through IVF/FET which I also find quite hard and it’s so hard to plan for things if you don’t know what the outcome will be.

When we got pregnant in Jan we decided to sell our house and buy a slightly bigger one. Now it seems like we won’t need it after all even after trying again 🥺

However I’m a huge believer that what is for you won’t pass you and it’s just not our time.

@FrostedFlakeoh hun you completely speaking the infertility language and I’m sure everyone can completely relate to the feeling of life on hold. Also the mixed feelings of everyone else getting to move in so easily and the jealousy and the frustration and upset that they just don’t understand

im glad you have some Frosties to at least give you options whatever you do decide in your future. And there is no right or wrong with that decision whatever it may look like. I would take your time with the decision now as it is so fresh off the current disappointment and grief. You need time to heal mentally and physically before rushing into anything.

This community will be here though if you ever need to sound off. Worst club , best members 🤍

mumtrovert · 16/05/2025 10:23

I’m so sorry @FrostedFlake that’s really rough. I’m hoping next time is the one for you. I wonder if there’s anything they can change/try for next time.

Impatientlywaiting321 · 16/05/2025 15:14

Tomorrow I will be 10dp5dt - I always said I would wait for OTD (Monday) but I have the overwhelming urge to test tomorrow as I will have the weekend to process.

Does anyone please know how reliable testing 2 days before OTD is?

FrostedFlake · 16/05/2025 15:17

I think some clinics test from 8/9 DPT, ours is 2 weeks so quite a long wait but for most people I’ve noticed it would be much sooner.

I would say at 11DPT you should definitely be able to register the hcg even if it’s not overly strong.

the best of luck @Impatientlywaiting321 if you do decide to test tomorrow x

PixieJxoxo · 16/05/2025 15:21

@SamVan @FrostedFlake really sorry to hear about your negative tests, I can appreciate just how devastating it is. Take the time to look after yourselves right now and try not to think too much about next steps, sending you both all the good thoughts xoxo

@FrostedFlake thank you so much, i know it's so hard to pleased for others when you're going through this, so you've been especially gracious. I completely agree with the life on hold aspect - it's like you're frozen in time and can't move forward with life until you know the outcome of this process.

@Impatientlywaiting321 I've read that by 10dp5dt it's pretty accurate and most people online seem to have tested by then. I was just overly cautious and waited the full 14 days my clinic said

Impatientlywaiting321 · 16/05/2025 15:23

Thank you @FrostedFlake & @PixieJxoxo I will get some early response tests and see if I have the bottle to do them tomorrow

FrostedFlake · 16/05/2025 15:24

@mumtrovert I will ask them but I think I’m taking most of the extras now to help prevent it as it’s happens to us a few times now. So not sure if there’s more that they can do for us.

Just did a FRER and the line is also the same as 3 days ago. Also The pic is taken outside of the 10 minute window so a bit darker.

This is such a mind f**, like I wish it was either a true positive or a negative. Being in limbo for god knows how long is so so draining.

Does anyone know if any standard multivitamins/supplements can give a light positive read?

mumtrovert · 16/05/2025 16:05

@FrostedFlakehow many dpt are you? Could it be that it’s too early to be much darker at this stage?

@Impatientlywaiting321 I would say you’d have an accurate reading tomorrow for sure. My last successful cycle I had a very obvious line by then. No squinting required. I think being able to process over the weekend is a sensible idea. Best of luck ♥️
