BFP after IVF: 2025

Wondering if anyone else has had a BFN after IVF in the past few months? Guessing if so, most would be due October / November / December.

I just can’t get into the due month groups on the main pregnancy page as my headspace is so different after struggling with infertility back to back losses and IVF.

I’m 7weeks after 5AA transfer in February and have had 1 MMC and 2 ectopics. Due date is 11th November (if I make it that far). No children.

@LincolnshireHollyhock ooh I’m 12 weeks on Wednesday too! My next scan is the 30th now

How many digestives are you getting through a day @LincolnshireHollyhock ?! Is it I the plain or chocolate ones you’re craving?

@LincolnshireHollyhock first few weeks was lemon lucozade sports and salt, that’s mostly gone now. Now it’s potatoes, milk, cheese 😅 and still definitely preferring salty stuff instead of sweets like I used to!
oooh I’ve just sent DH to the shops for digestive biscuits actually so I can put garlic and herb Philadelphia on them 😂

Ermmmm about 10 digestives per day with a cup of tea 😆😆😆 @Charmofgoldfinch - how are you? Xx

@LincolnshireHollyhock I haven’t but I do have a bunch of apples in my fridge lol! I’ve been eating them to try and help 💩 but at this rate I feel like I won’t have a normal one until after childbirth 😂 I thought ivf bloating and constipation was bad but this is like next level lol

I was the same with savory /salty, I’ve finally got my taste back for sweet things though.

@captainsmal I’ll be 15+4 at the scan on weds.
Really need the reassurance - I’m back to ‘I’m just bloated / eaten too much, there’s no bump’ and worrying I’ve had a MMC since 12
weeks.
Trying not to think about it and focus on work etc, fingers crossed for weds.

@Xwx1010 ah yeah I get that! Is it a private one? I’m planning one around 16 weeks too, 12-20 seems like such a long wait otherwise! I’m sure it’ll all be good Wednesday!
Yeah literally was just that one time and now it’s stopped, they had no idea what caused it tbh 🤷🏼‍♀️

I keep thinking it might be a bump but realistically I just look a bit podgy at the moment. I wasn’t the slimmest before starting. Officially 13 weeks today and apparently the baby is either the size of a teabag or a lemon- two things that are definitely not the same size!

@PrincessofLiechtenstein the sizes are so weird on some websites! I’d say lemon because I’m 12 weeks tomorrow and mines a plum lol 😂

I read plum also! Apparently 11 weeks was the size of a fig…

Feeling nervous about the 12 week scan tomorrow.

Good luck to all you ladies with 12 week scans. If it helps, I was also at nervous wreck before mine. I lay down and actually started crying before the midwife did the scan as I was convinced she would tell me that the heartbeat had stopped. Thankfully all was well! It's hard not to anxious after ivf.

i had my 9 week scan yesterday. Ovaries are still massive but baby is looking healthy and on track and it was really nice to see them moving about! Looking more like a baby than at 6 weeks! I was also discharged from the clinic yesterday so I can start weaning off progesterone now and then stop blood thinners at 12 weeks!

@Charmofgoldfinch I have but it’s not regular and it’s a struggle every time to go 😅

I’ve just started aspirins today, anyone else taking them? I’m on 150mg a day from 12 weeks til birth now

Aww that sounds so uncomfortable @captainsmal - I hope it gets better soon, keep eating those apples! Pears are quite good for that affect too!
I’ve just dodged the aspirin but only because I’m on the blood thinners. I think the consultant will put me on them when the blood thinners finish though.

Yes! I was given them because I have fibroids (oddly) but lower dose 75mg.

@Charmofgoldfinch definitely and I’m drinking so much water now so I’m surprised that I still can’t go tbh! Might ask dr for some different laxatives or something if it carries on much longer 😂

@BellaRosex mines for raynauds and I think cos I’m asthmatic so they wanted the blood to be thinner to get more oxygen etc to the placenta apparently? I don’t know 😅

15w scan all good, it was a really lovely experience given I was so worried about doing it privately. Lady was an nhs midwife and sonographer and she did a full anatomy check too, so feel MILES better today - 30 mins and so thorough m. Got some nice pics and saw baby wiggiling about with its hands by its face/under its chin. Finally told people today too which was really nice

@Xwx1010 yay well done! Hopefully since she did the checks now you won’t have as much worry for the 20 week one? That’s how I feel now for my 13wk one as the lady the other day did the checks for me so she said it’ll be fine next time 🥰

12 week scan went well. Baby is a few days ahead so our due date has pushed forward to 30th November.

Had blood taken for tests and 20 week scan booked.

Baby was throwing arms around at one point and covering face. Crazy to see how much has changed since 7 week scan!!!!

Great news @Xwx1010@LincolnshireHollyhockreally pleased your scans went well. It’s so lovely to see them grow isn’t it.

Ive also been put on 150mg aspirin as I’m over 40. I think it’s more and more common now.
