Anybody else starting or in middle of treatment?

Bit about my experience so far..
My last treatment was in december and had to come to a stop after finding a polyp during the scan. Have since removed the polylp and given the green light to go again. currently on estrodiol and due for a lining thickness scan next week. If all goes to plan I think the frozen transfer will be during 1st wk of april (Fingers X’ed!)

@Evi83 ok I’m so glad that also wasn’t just me! I felt kind of arrogant afterwards (which I really hope I’m not normally) and for it to happen to two as well felt wild. My OH was away so I was on my own like ah I know the drill and then I completely crumbled (and had to go right back to the office after….very poor planning, they triggered me on day 9 which we weren’t expecting).

I was very lucky and ended up with 9 in the freezer so I felt quite confident we’d get one more babe but then using 4 in 3 weeks was like a real reality check!

haha three hourly is not remotely crazy don’t you worry 😂😂 😂 and I really hope this one is your baby ❤️

@Lostmyusernametoday Oh that sounds tough. I nearly fell apart on the day of my transfer and that was without losing embryos and with my hb there - so not surprised you had a tough time.
We had two frozen embryos left after my daughter (nearly 4 😭) and this is our last one 😬. Baby dust / fingers crossed/ lots of luck all round!! x

@Evi83 ah I totally understand that must feel like a lot of pressure - absolutely everything crossed that this is the one to add to your family

I finally had my embryo transfer today. All went well so fingers crossed 🤞🏼 hope everyone else is doing ok. Got everything crossed for you all

after my night of bad cramps, the next day I just had on and off period style pains and now they have pretty much stopped. Today I’ve had lower back ache all day and am super bloated and tired, but blaming it all on the progesterone. Someone at work said I looked drained, thanks 🙃

thinking I will test Friday maybe, that’s 9dp5dt so if it’s negative then I’m sure I’m out and can at least enjoy the long weekend. But I might chicken out last minute!

@jenk91 thank you (altho I’m not counting it as real until OTD, and even then I’ll be doubtful- I’m convinced it’s another cp).
Oh it’s so hard to know when the right time is to test. Even at 9dpt it could still be too early to be conclusive.
Glad the cramps have stopped. Other symptoms are no fun. Apart from sore boobs & a bit of bloating I’ve had nothing really. Hope your symptoms are a good sign!

i am feeling good at the moment thanks. My anxiety has been bad with the meds but feeling positive today.

@jenk91 oooo feel like you have had quite a few symptoms which is exciting. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. My otd is tomorrow and I’m quite excited but also scared to test - been feeling so positive this time round I don’t want it to be ruined by a bfn.
do think testing maybe a couple days early for you is good so have the weekend to enjoy or process before work on Tuesday.

@Kr0 yay great news on the transfer. When is your otd and do you think you will test early? Hope you’re keeping well!

@jenk91 i think I’m going to test early too but going to hold off until Saturday. I feel like if I test tomorrow I wouldn’t be able to work if it was negative. I’m so scared to test too and feel like I might chicken out at the last minute! All of your symptoms sound really positive, hope you get the result that you want!

@Foreverhoping33 i think I have had quite a lot, my lower back ache is way more than normal and way more than last time, tiredness too but I am worried I am imagining it or exaggerating it. One minute I feel positive about it and another minute I feel negative, as I’m sure we all do. I’m glad you are feeling positive about it, I really am hoping for some good news for you! Let’s hope you can start the weekend off with some BFPs 💜

@Hopefulheart77 i totally get that, I’m working from home tomorrow and have basically zero meetings so it could work, but ive already been thinking maybe I won’t test 😂 it’s just nice to keep the hope alive a little longer isn’t it!

I've officially lost the plot and started asking chatGPT for its opinion on my pregnancy tests. I had a slightly darker line than yesterday at 9am today, then tested again at 12 (pls send help, i know i'm mad), i think it's slightly fainter. I know it may be diluted urine, but i also think this is the start of my chemical. It's exactly what happenned last time - line was getting a little fainter and i tried to kid myself that it was just the cheap test / wrong time of day. 😭🙄

ps - i can't believe its a bank holiday this weekend - means I'll have to wait until tuesday at the earliest for a blood test 😭

Oh @Evi83 you haven’t lost the plot - it’s so hard. So I’m no expert but I don’t think you can compare tests from 4 hours apart, not trying to minimise your feelings but it’s awful once you’re in that spiral isn’t it.

Are they getting darker daily? Or every other day? I think that might be a better measurement.

sending you love it’s so hard I was so angry and stressed on Monday and Tuesday when I didn’t know if it was an ident or not and must have reviewed 300 pictures of other people pregnancy tests online…you’re not on your own ❤️

@Hopefulheart77 thank you - I’m in a testing spiral atm but I’ve noticed smells getting stronger today (although like @jenk91 I’m concerned I’m imagining it as that was my symptom on my only successful pregnancy so I might be wishing it there a bit. How are you doing? I hope whenever you choose to test it’s a BBBFP. I admire you so much for holding off…with my first pregnancy my HCG was so high they thought it might be triplets (it wasn’t) so I had a load of symptoms really early so I was confident to test but nothing since has been anything like that but I still feel the need to test early because I did that time

@Lostmyusernametoday Thanks. They’ve been slowly getting darker but are still on the faint side. And on top of the fainter test this afternoon, I’ve not got the slight leg cramp and pelvic heaviness I often get before my period. And no other particular symptoms (no nausea or metallic taste). So I’m feeling like I’m 90% sure it’s a chemical. Waaah. Let’s see what the next few days bring 🙏🏻
Sounds like you’ve got some good symptoms going on. Hope you manage to get through the next few days ok, without lots of tests / symptom stressing (hahahaha, as if we can stop overanalysing ever little twinge!) 🙂

@Evi83 ive been feeling the same it’s a lot weaker than my daughter at 7dp5dt but trying to stay positive and focus on the smelly streets haha. I don’t have any cramps or other symptoms either.

Really hoping it’s not a chemical - would you get an early positive with a chemical? I thought not but it hasn’t happened to me so I suspect it was just a random MN opinion that of course because it fit my narrative that day I totally ran with it 😂🙈

@Evi83 hoping it’s not a chemical for you. This journey is so hard it makes us feel crazy at times but you do whatever you want/need to do no judgement here!

@Foreverhoping33 i am trying to hold off testing til OTD on the 10th May. It falls on a Saturday which is convenient with work so going to try and hold out. And I am so tired but otherwise all good

@Lostmyusernametoday Hope it’s not for you too. But I think the stats say it’s more likely to be a real pregnancy than a cp so fingers crossed. I don’t think faint lines in itself means much (it is still super early!). And that’s great about the smell thing - any pregnancy symptoms are positive and hopefully mean nice rising HCG levels. As long as you’re still getting positives by your OTD that’s good, and if you’re worried perhaps you can ask your clinic for bloods.
I actually had a chemical in March with pretty dark lines (which then started to fade around day 10). That’s kind of why I’m convinced mine is a cp this time too.
i think I’m going to step away from the tests now. Can’t bear the thought of slowly watching the line fade again. Will try and hang on until Sunday! x

So I am 9dp5dt today and I took a test because I can’t keep overthinking all these symptoms and I got this 🥹 it’s the first time in the 2 years ttc that I’ve ever seen the two lines so I am shocked, and now the whole other overthinking begins about whether it will stick etc. I feel like it’s a decent line though?

Just to update you that I got a bfp! I’m over the moon!!
booked in my viability scan for the 22nd so the waiting continues 😅.
