Hiya. I’m due to start IVF in March and just wanted to find some people who were going through the same so we can support/ advise eachother! I’m 32 and have been trying to get pregnant for 8 years now and just wanted to meet some people in the same boat!

Yeah, I’m kind of thinking we should have just paid the extra money for standard IVF now, but I suppose we just have to wait and see, hopefully it really is quality over quantity for us.

Just had a call from the clinic, 4 have fertilised and are looking good, they will call us next on Sunday to update, I’m so nervous, this is probably the most anxious I’ve felt throughout the whole journey so far. Just praying we get at least two embryos, so we have a fairly decent chance.

I just had a scan and I'm triggering tonight for my frozen embryo transfer on Friday 4th April 😱 lining was 10.4 at todays scan so that's great - they said 7-15 is the threshold they want.

Actually so nervous at this stage. April 15th was the due date of the baby I lost so I just would really like to be pregnant again by then 🤞my lo needs a sibling 🤞

Hi all just to update you all
I was due to start my periods on Thursday and have my scan a day later however there’s no sign of it. I’ve called my clinic and they’ve said that they’re not opened over the weekend now and if I start over the weekend I need to wait for Monday for the scan. I don’t know how I feel about this as my scan would be days later. Would this not affect the scan?

have any of you started your periods and have had to have your scan on the Monday?

@lovelivelaugh64my clinic wanted to scan on day 2-4 after my period started (day 1 being full flow that started before 12.00) so I think that’s fine even if you do start tonight

Hi everyone. I posted a little while back in this thread and today is the next milestone. I had my 6th transfer today. I feel strangely calm in comparison my other transfers. So I’m now PUPO and really praying this time is the charm. 2 chemicals / 2 bfns and 1 miscarriage so far. Fingers crossed this time is it!

@charja100 no my egg collection is done. Embryos tested, I'm transferring next Friday. I had to take a trigger as I ovulate late! So transfer is 7 days post trigger 🤞

I’m 10 days into TWW and I’m not sure which symptoms could be meds (it’s a head spinner). I have constipation, I get a weird twinge in my stomach when I move sometimes and feels a bit sore, my boobs are also sore, mood swings and I should have come on Thursday.

ive been reading this thread a while and want to say thank you to everyone for sharing your stories - it’s of great comfort knowing I’m not alone during this crazy rollercoaster ride.

P.S Really fighting to not test early!

@LincolnshireHollyhock 4+3 today! Official test day is tomorrow 😬 been doing one a day to see the line progression and driving myself slightly insane tbh 😅 but I definitely have a strong line now. When’s your otd?

This TWW isn’t easy!

@LincolnshireHollyhock I had really good progression but I feel like today is now the same as yesterday. Maybe thicker not darker if that makes sense? I think we all go a little mad in the 2ww tbh! My main ones atm are random twinges cramps etc throughout the day, sore boobs but they mainly come later as the day goes on, and nausea pretty much all the time unless I’m eating or drinking. Oh and really thirsty all the time lol

Sounds like things are progressing well @captainsmal - maybe your line is as dark as it can go 😆… otd for your tomorrow- eeeeek!!!

I done the worst thing and googled symptoms. Different websites say different things.

I feel like I am..based on how my body feels but until the test I am full of doubt. 🙃

@LincolnshireHollyhock yeah that’s what I was thinking they’re the cheap little strip ones that pick up 10iu so maybe that’s as dark as they get? I’ve got a proper stick one for tomorrow and that’s 25iu so it should pick up by now if I tested positive Monday and it’s been doubling every 2-3 days 🤞🏻

I am a chronic googler too tbh! I was actually the opposite and convinced I wasn’t because I had bad period pains on Sunday and Monday, I think now they must have been implantation cramps?

@LincolnshireHollyhock I admire your control I'd have tested long ago 🤣 @captainsmal you had a trigger right? What day did you test and know it wasn't trigger?
