Hiya. I’m due to start IVF in March and just wanted to find some people who were going through the same so we can support/ advise eachother! I’m 32 and have been trying to get pregnant for 8 years now and just wanted to meet some people in the same boat!

@captainsmal keep that positivity rolling. It makes the time from now until test day a much more pleasant experience and is so much better on your body and mind and definitely for the little embryo if it has made itself a nice cozy home in there.

Welcome to the thread. I'm so sorry about your pregnancy history. That is very hard. I hope your upcoming transfer is successful.

@PrincessofLiechtenstein I think we’ve decided to just wait until otd and enjoy being PUPO for as long as possible

Heya. Just a little update. Apologies for being absent but I was struggling the last couple of days. Got my day 5 update this morning and they have one good quality one to transfer and one to freeze and potentially another one to freeze but they need to wait until tomorrow to see if it catches up. I’m in total shock as I was expecting absolutely nothing. I’m booked in for transfer at half 9. Doesn’t seem real!

@Banksl92 that’s amazing so happy you had a happy ending after the day 3 update! I guess that’s why some places like mine don’t do day 3 as you just never know what will happen. Good luck with your transfer 😁

Sorry to hear your update @Allnew2021i think the science is quite weak about mosaic embryos they can sometimes correct themselves. I hope you manage some good conversations with the geneticist to help you make your decisions.

Yes I think I would have rather had no update and just a day 5 as things can clearly change so much! Already thinking any slight twinge is a sign of something going wrong/ right lol! It’s going to be a long wait! I hope you are getting on well x

Thanks all. Transfer went well. The embryologist said that the embryo had grown since she had called this morning and was very high quality so let’s hope it sticks. Also the other 2 had also been growing so one has been frozen and the other she will let me know tomorrow.

I had to inject myself twice yesterday as the ovaleap pen left like 1 tiny bit of dose in the pen so had to open another and do a teeny bit of dose in that injection haha

Hello everyone. Joining the party as I have just found out yesterday from my monitoring scan that I’ll be doing my next ET on Friday.

This is transfer number 6 from my third round of EC October 24. Finding it hard to get in a positive mindset as my 5th transfer ended in early miscarriage in Jan this year. So far I’ve had 1 chemical, 2 BFNs and 2 early losses. 2 PGTA tested embryos left and embarking on ET number 6. Trying to read up on everyone stories. A couple of familiar names on here too. Wishing everyone the best 💕

@Banksl92 welcome to PUPO! I’ve had non stop constant mild ish nausea for like 48hrs now. Not enough to feel like I’m going to be sick or something but just constantly there. Was thinking it’s probably just cyclogest side effects but googled and it said that’s quite uncommon and wouldn’t last this long? Been on them a week and a half now so you’d think my body would get used to them? So I’m sort of hoping it’s a sign 😅 also I feel run down like I have a cold coming which could apparently be some kind of sign lol. So desperately trying not to get hopes up but deffo feel a lot of symptoms at the mo!

@captainsmal how many days post transfer are you? You could probably test I'd say!

@spttc I’m 5dpt now so I could probably get a faint line if I am preg but the problem is I didn’t bother to test out my trigger. I had a double dose as well so I read it can take up to 14 days which is Monday night. So I’d say Tuesday morning to be sure it’s not the trigger, but I’ll probably just wait for otd anyway lol

Ladies i am only on day 4 of stims and i have soooo much ewcm. Is this normal? Usually only get it when ovulating so worried things are happening early

@Timetotryagain I also had crazy amounts of ewcm during stims, don’t worry it’s really normal and doesn’t mean you’re ovulating early! I googled it when I was having it and found loads of Reddit posts about it 😅

@captainsmal oh good glad thats its nornal for stims! I start my ganirelix (ovamex) on monday and its supposed to sting 😭

I had loads too when I was doing stims. Was crazy I ready somewhere that it’s called “super ovulation” or something 😆

@Sal2910you had an amazing number fertilised. Are you taking anything specific in terms of vitamins or diet or editing any exercise?

Just a quick update from me. I had ec on Wednesday, 19 collected, 12 fertilised (we have had issues with partners sperm samples 3/5 times so was a little nervous about that) all 12 that fertilised were in the embryoscope, the others in normal incubators.
Day 3 we still had all 12 and I'm booked In for transfer Monday at 11. There are concerns around this though as I'm showing signs of OHSS and blood tests confirm. The clinic however have said its up to me if I go ahead or freeze. Has anyone gone ahead with transfer in this situation?

@Timetotryagain yeah my Ganirelix stung the first time or two but if you alcohol wipe down the area before AND after, also make sure the opening of the needle is pointing up towards you and go slowly, I found it wasn’t too bad after that. I had a little rash the first few times but it went away as my body got used to it. Some people alcohol wipe the actual needle too to stop any of it going on the skin but I didn’t do that. I did mine in my thighs
