Hiya. I’m due to start IVF in March and just wanted to find some people who were going through the same so we can support/ advise eachother! I’m 32 and have been trying to get pregnant for 8 years now and just wanted to meet some people in the same boat!

Hi, I hope everyone is doing ok.
I'm 2 days into the Gonal-F stims now. No side effects so far but maybe that's because I'm on a really low dose.
I'm super anxious about the egg retrieval. I am worried I won't be fully asleep. What does the sedation feel like?

Good news @Banksl92keeping things crossed for your next update.

My sedation was absolutely dreamy @BreezyCoralCrabi don’t remember a thing, I know some others have been a bit more alert though. I found it less awkward/uncomfortable than the transfer to be honest.

Just got back from a day 6 scan with my wife, she has 27 follicles, they said some are on the smaller side so they don’t think all will be big enough to produce eggs, but overall she is responding really well and should start Cetrotide tomorrow morning. My period is due next week so all being well we are looking at doing a frozen transfer in about three weeks time. I don’t want to get too excited as knowing our luck something will go wrong, but I’m cautiously optimistic.

So far everything is sounding positive . Fingers xd everything stays on track for you both and you will be able to have a straight forward FET..

Just out of EC. 7 eggs collected but they reckon a few will be mature so hoping for 4. Just praying for fertilisation this time ❤️❤️

Clinic just called, only 3 of the 7 are mature. They’ve successfully been injected (ICSI) and in with artificial oocyte activation. Gutted.

@ivfjourneyandme very sad for you today. Doing ICSI is the best way forward and will hopefully yield better results than straight forward IVF.. We also did ICSI.

@expat321 we did ICSI last time too, had 4 mature eggs, none fertilised. This is our last shot.

@SlinkMcSlink honestly, I’ve been through traumatic events in my life but hands down - this ivf journey is the worst

@ivfjourneyandme really feel for you and I have literally all fingers toes everything crossed that those 3 are gonna fertilise and be really good quality for you!!

Just Coming out of my baseline scan measuring 9.3 so all good to go for transfer on Tuesday. 3rd attempt. X

@ivfjourneyandme sorry to hear you didn't get as many mature eggs as you wanted. I how you get good news tomorrow about the fertilisation of the 3 that were mature.

It's 2 weeks today since the pgta testing for our only embryo and I still haven't heard anything back. The waiting is so hard!

@ivfjourneyandme I just want to know the results so I can mentally prepare for either a frozen transfer or final round of ivf. Honestly, other than the down regulation meds all the waiting has been one of the hardest things in this whole process.

@Allnew2021 its mentally exhausting isn’t it? I’m counting down until it’s suitable time to go to bed to hurry up the post-EC phone call tomorrow so I can deal with whatever is thrown at me. This limbo is killing me

First stim injection done tonight but when i took it out some leaked out! Quite a bit too not justva drop. Bit worried! Has that ever happened to anyone else?

@Timetotryagain This has happened to me a few times in past cycles. Don’t stress it. Easier said than done I know but even Science isn’t perfect. Otherwise you’ll be beating yourself up at every step of the way.

@SlinkMcSlink thank you 💜💜 i am telling myself some clinics dont start stims till day 3 anyway so hopefully my day 2 stims missing abit of the dose wont be a big issue
