Hiya. I’m due to start IVF in March and just wanted to find some people who were going through the same so we can support/ advise eachother! I’m 32 and have been trying to get pregnant for 8 years now and just wanted to meet some people in the same boat!

@Banksl92 hopefully on the day it will be fine, my left ovary sits behind my uterus and they’ve always said they might not be able to access it but on all 3 ECs they have got all the follicles. Maybe they just like to manage expectations in case it’s difficult.

Hey everyone, hope everyone has a great weekend. Sorry I’ve not been on the last couple of days to reply individually to everyone but I really do wish you all the best and sending everyone hugs as it’s such a difficult journey isn’t it
I’m trying desperately not to think about my embryos but so nervous for Monday mornings day 5 update especially since I don’t get a day 3 one. Had a horrible nightmare about it last night as well. Just praying that some make it to blast 🥲 also missing DH and the cats while I’m away which doesn’t help. He’s joining me tomorrow evening so that he can come to transfer Monday so that might help a bit

Just got back from a day 2 scan with my wife, they spotted what looked like a small cyst on her scan on Wednesday, they’ve seen it again today and it hasn’t changed in size, lots of other follicles there which are small and even in size, so they are hoping it is just a cyst from her last cycle and not another dominant follicle coming through.

They’ve done some blood tests and will call us back in the afternoon to let us know if she can start stims today. We are really hoping we get the go ahead as if we have to cancel this cycle it’s more costs and delays again.

I am so confused!!
im 16dp5dt and i had my hcg done at 12dp- 385 and then 14dp- 1065. After blood test on 14dp I had brown discharge and bad cramps so I was sure it was all over. Had another blood test today at 16dp and it came back at 2372 which I was shocked at. Straight after that blood test I bled bright red blood, enough to mark a pad but not a lot. Seems to have stopped but now I again think it must be over!!
has anyone had a similar experience?

I had ivf and got my positive. I should be 7 weeks on Monday but clear blue is showing me at 2-3 weeks. I had some light bleeding about 2 weeks ago. I’m fully expecting this to be an early loss and so stressed out.

@Kfish56@Dodeedoothat must be a really stressful situation for both of you, however some bleeding in early pregnancy can happen and things can be fine. Unfortunately I think all you can do is keep monitoring and talk to your clinic about your symptoms. I hope things keep progressing for you

@Kfish56 i dont have any experience sorry but i hope its just normal bleeding especially if you arw using cyclogest vaginally it can irritate cervix and cause bleeding

Yes, thankfully they said her hormones are all normal for day 2 and they’ve reviewed her scan from Wednesday and the cyst is measuring a bit smaller today, so they were happy it is indeed a cyst and not a dominant follicle. First Gonal F injection was this evening and a Day 6 scan booked for Wednesday :D

How did the first injection go for her? @OneQuirkyPanda i actually was watching a youtube couple do videos on reciprocal ivf (caitlin and leah think they are called) if you havent already seen them which was super cool to see the process of ivf and all the injections and appointments etc.

Yes its our first cycle so bit nervous about the needles !

Hi! Joining the group a bit late. I'm currently on my 2nd treatment cycle, and due for EC tomorrow morning.

I'm excited, but also a bit anxious because of how our first cycle turned out. Also a bit worried because I got my trigger shot 5 minutes late last night because I lost track of time. Here's to hoping that those few minutes won't have any major impact on how this cycle turns out!

I’ve got some good news this morning. After getting the faintest of faint lines on a cheapie yesterday (DH thought I was nuts) there was a definite line on a first response this morning.

He’s annoyingly still asleep so you guys are the first people I’ve told. I know it’s super early days but in three years of trying I’ve never had a line.

She said they’re not too bad, not very painful at all, she got used to them from our last cancelled cycle as she had 3 days of stims before the cycle was cancelled due to a dominant follicle.

Yes I’ve seen them! I follow a few couples on TikTok who are doing reciprocal IVF as well :)

Might be starting treatment in 2 weeks. I'm really nervous because I know this can be a long journey and I must say I don't really enjoy the process hahah which I guess no one does. My clinic is a 2hr drive and I have to go in every second day for scans and blood work usually around 7am and it's hard to navigate around the kids. I'm also nearly 4 yrs older since my last EC. The cogs in my brain have started turning the closer we get to treatment and now wondering if I am going to manage it all but I have a strong desire for another baby and I know to achieve that, then ivf is what I have to do. Woman are such power houses, I mean look at what we put our bodies through to bring life into the world and some of you have full times jobs to go back to after treatment. Legends. Anyway I'm just ranting, I'm a tough a cookie , I got this.
