Hiya. I’m due to start IVF in March and just wanted to find some people who were going through the same so we can support/ advise eachother! I’m 32 and have been trying to get pregnant for 8 years now and just wanted to meet some people in the same boat!

@Kfish56 please try not too stress, I know how hard that is especially after a loss, but try to think of all the positives that's are happening so far like having embryos to transfer and then one of those embryos implanting and giving you a positive test and then the awaiting 7 week scan that is coming off. One step at a time and enjoy one day at a time and each milestone you achieve even if it is making through another day.

I've just had my first scan. Im on day 6 of gonal F. One ovary had 3 follicles at 12mm and 6 under 10 and my left had 1 at 10mm and 3 under 10mm. I have no idea if this is good or bad?! The lady doing it didn't really say much to me! I have another scan Friday and been told to start cetrotide tomorrow morning and they will ring me later to let me know if they want to increase my gonal F.

@Banksl92 that sounds good to me? I think they grow approx 1.7-2mm per day so if you’re about halfway that sounds about right! I never had any other scans except the day 11 one so I don’t know what mine were like day 6 lol

@Banksl92 that sounds alright to me. It's hard when they don't really explain though. I took a photo of their screen so I could look at the graph with the sizes on later which helped a bit

This sounds perfect for day 6. You should see more maturing around day 10.

@PrincessofLiechtenstein Thank you both. I just feel a bit disheartened as she literally said nothing to me just booked my next scan. So it's just made me worry as there was no reassurance if things were looking good or not. I just felt like she was trying to get me out the door asap!

I got my first bloods back and it’s only 203. I’m gutted.
I had a 2-3 on clearblue on Sunday which would have meant I was 156 at a minimum so it hasn’t gone up much at all. I’m really upset xx

So sorry to hear about the floods @Miraclemuma03 , not what you need while balancing fertility treatment! I hope it gets better soon.

I had another call from the clinic today, my one embryo has gained some cells but also lost some cells from yesterday. It’s compacting but still some fragmentation. It’s technically day 5 for this one as it matured and fertilised a day late in the lab. So she said they’ll leave it another day as no harm, but that it likely won’t make blastocyst. Stupidly I’ve now got my hopes up that it’s going to pull through overnight!

@Kfish56 I’m really sorry - obviously hcg ranges are huge but this does seem on the low side… praying you get a big double in 48 hours, sending you a big hug, this whole process is so cruel. Just seen someone else with bad news too, it’s so upsetting x

Advice - have people done ovuleap injections out and about? I am supposed to go to a concert next weekend and will be on stims then. Its fridge medication but i believe when they pen is in use it can be left out of the fridge

Once Ovuleap is taken out of the fridge and in use it can be used for 30 days so you'll be fine taking it to the concert

I’m not concerned about the 203 number as that’s a good number for 11dp5dt, they want it to be above 100 at 12dp5dt so I’m above that.
it’s the fact that I got the 2-3 weeks on Sunday which meant I would be at a minimum of 156. Xx

@Kfish56 ah of course, my mistake keeping up where everyone is dpt wise.. 200 is pretty bang on average isn’t it - someone shared this the other day which I found helpful.
i really hope you get a nice increase in 48 hours and it’s just unreliable urine tests causing stress… I’ve got everything crossed for you x

I worked myself up into such a state today after my bloods done results that the NHS agreed to give me a blood test. It was 385 less than 24 hours after my previous. So it’s gone up 90% in 24 hours.
I know I’m nowhere near out of the woods but I feel really relieved xx

@Timetotryagain ooh exciting! I found it so emotional when my meds got delivered 😅

I’m 13 hours away from EC now. Me and DH are at my parents house chilling but probably go bed soon! Need to be there at 9.30 and it’s only a half hour drive but leaving at 8 because of school/work traffic around that time 😬 rather be really early than late haha. Had a few symptoms from trigger shot now, mostly a bit of nausea/acid reflux and metallic taste in mouth so I’m reassured that it’s working! DH is totally chill about the whole thing tbh 😂 I’m not really worried about it but more worried about leaving my cats overnight without dinner/breakfast lol (we put loads of water and biscuits down for them!) I think it’s my brain redirecting my anxiety onto something else haha

@captainsmal hope you manage to get a good night sleep tonigh! Good idea to leave with plenty of time 💜💜 is this your first EC?

@Timetotryagain yep first one, first cycle! But I’ve had surgeries before so I’m not really worried about that aspect, more nervous about how many eggs I will get and how many fertilise etc lol

@captainsmal yeah same i am looking forward to the sedation but then worried about the numbers after!!
