Anyone starting next month? I'll be on my 4th cycle. I've just bought 2 cycles with manchester fertility and it will be me done. I'm 36, have a low amh of 5.2 and afc 10. I'm doing the estrogen priming protocol so will take estrogen tablets for 7 days starting from day 21. I then take 450 meriofert. I'm not sure whether I am excited or nervous. It has been a year since my last cycle and I'm going to struggle with another loss but wanted to get started again also. No children yet and over 3 years trying. Have blocked tubes and endo xx

Thanks @Rebekah77 The scan was good, I have a lot of fluid left over so a transfer wouldn't have been optimal anyway. The nurse didn't think I was really at risk of OHSS but still better to err on the side of caution. I think that has really settled my mind now, before it felt like it was getting away from me, this feels more solid. It was my favourite nurse too.

Try to think about something else for the day, you've got this!

How’s everyone doing today? I had my scan this morning and I’m all booked in for egg collection on Wednesday. Lining was still thin at 6.4mm but going in the right direction. Feeling all the emotions now and struggling to keep my mind on work today!

@Geordienewbie same here my egg collection is booked for Wednesday but I’m doing a freeze all.

I had another scan today and I have 2 good follicles and 1 borderline so fingers crossed I can get 2-3 eggs x

@Kr0 & @emeraldhope fingers crossed for a good outcome for all three of us! Do you know what sedation you’re having? My clinic is off site from the hospital so they have a limit of how much sedation they can use and the nurse said they wanted me to be ‘responsive’ during it, which has slightly freaked me out 😆

They’ve also given me an optional anti-anxiety to take the night before (which is standard at my clinic) so I’m looking forward to a good nights sleep tomorrow!

@Geordienewbie i am having a general anaesthetic because of my endometriosis on my ovary. I hope the sedation is ok for you and great that you get an anti anxiety medication. Good luck!

I have my day 7 scan tomorrow so will see how stims are progressing. Hope it's good news. Feeling bit uncomfortable and bloated tonight but not sure if that is the stims or too many carbs!

Drinking camomile tea tonight and hoping it feels better soon. Although maybe it's a sign it is working.

Oh - and the novelty of taking stims is now def wearing off! 😂

Fingers crossed for your scan today @OneWaryCat I think the bloating and uncomfortableness is a good sign as I only started getting that as the follicles got bigger x

Thanks everyone and good luck to you too @emeraldhope and @Kr0. Mine isn’t until 11.30am and it was a struggle to stay up until 11.30 last night to trigger. That wouldn’t be a problem normally but these last few days I’ve just felt exhausted.

Had the scan. They said it is looking good and where they would expect it to be for now. Got a good number of follicles and there is a cluster that are growing together which is a positive sign. One is way out in front which they think we will lose. They said growth can be a bit slower on long protocol but I'm back in for another scan on friday.

turns out we were able to freeze all 4 embryos, so I'm pretty thrilled about that. 2 aren't as good quality but they use them in order of quality so I'm not that concerned.

@uhhuhyeahok thats great news! And they must be of okay enough quality to freeze which is positive as otherwise they wouldn’t freeze them. Do you know how long you might have to wait for the FET? Is it usually two bleeds or one?

@Rebekah77 have you spoken to the clinic? As you’ve been in so much pain and nausea on top of that in case they have anything that can help?

Yeah I called them they said it’s just the cyclogest and nothing they can do . paracetamol and stick my head in the bog lol 😂 @FrostedFlake
