Anyone starting next month? I'll be on my 4th cycle. I've just bought 2 cycles with manchester fertility and it will be me done. I'm 36, have a low amh of 5.2 and afc 10. I'm doing the estrogen priming protocol so will take estrogen tablets for 7 days starting from day 21. I then take 450 meriofert. I'm not sure whether I am excited or nervous. It has been a year since my last cycle and I'm going to struggle with another loss but wanted to get started again also. No children yet and over 3 years trying. Have blocked tubes and endo xx

I'm not feeling too bad. But then im on 2 doses of injections and medication to stop it so not sure if its just that doing its job 😅

It's the worst isn't it. As you want to have hope but also trying to set expectations. And then you don't want to think the worst before it happens. My brain is in a constant state of flip flop emotions trying to work out how to feel

Yeah not sure about the counselling. Some days I feel like I need all the help I can get and then others never know what to say so hopefully it will be useful.

Oh god false alarm. Yeah it's the waiting after a frozen as you have to recover and then wait ages for your cycle to start again. Just never end of wait. Fingers crossed your bloods are all good and you don't have to do a freeze all

still very uncomfortable can’t tell if it’s my ovaries or endo flaring up .. such fun 😅😅😅

I don't think I'm going to know whether we'll be doing a freeze all cycle until after collection tomorrow, its actually only the first time this was mentioned as an option so I'm a bit in the dark about it.
I'm feeling a bit better than yesterday though, now I've stopped the stims. 2 different triggers and lots a faff around that last night was not fun though.

I have my first monitoring scan early tomorrow morning so hoping everything is growing as it should be.

@Kr0 I also have my first monitoring scan tomorrow! Hope all goes well for you. I'm nervous as I assumed I would be feeling a bit tender or hormonal but I feel exactly the same as usual so I hope I've responded okay! How are you feeling?

How many day of stims did you do before 1st scan? Hopefully I start stims this week. Next week work want me to go away for a night for an away day. I quite want to go but trying to plan if its sensible etc. Would also need to try get stims to away day location and keep cool etc. Wondering if it is more hassle than it is worth, although trying not to let this dominate normal life too much.

@emeraldhope good luck to you too! I am tender round my lower stomach but I have a cyst so nothing I wasn’t expecting. Otherwise I feel fine too.

@OneWaryCat i will have done 5 days of injections by the time I have my scan. Hopefully you could take them with you.

@emeraldhope I’m feeling the same. A bit bloated and there are times when I feel like my ovaries are throbbing but it’s not painful, just feels a bit weird. I’m very impatient for my scan on Thursday to see how things are going. Good luck for yours tomorrow!

@OneWaryCat I’m just on my way back from a night away with work and I was wondering if it would all be too much hassle but it was fine for me and a nice distraction. My medication (ovaleap) is fine to be left out of the fridge after the first time so it was just a matter of nipping to the loo to do the injection at the right time. Having said that if I struggled with the injections or had any negative side effects I would have cancelled the trip.

AF showed up today 3 days early which NEVER happens but I'm super happy as it means the cycle can finally get started. However I'm not sure if I would count today as CD1 or tomorrow...AF started around 4.30pm and heavy-ish flow

We are both going in tomorrow ☺️ I know, I was like better not forget the trigger injection as it’s two hours after Cetrotide. I wonder why they initially prescribe a few different o sections and dosages and what makes them go with one vs two.

Would you prefer to do a fresh transfer?

My first scan was day 4, I had 3 in total
just check as with my meds once open they were fine at room temp

do just keep in mind you may feel achy / crampy. But taking one pen away with you should be easy just depends what meds

I’ve had to travel during stims before and also while doing progesterone injections. If you know you are leaving at a certain time and it’s not silly o’clock, you could do your injections in the morning at that point time rather than evenings.

My clinic usually does day 7 or 8 depending on availability for the first scan.

@ForeverHopeful17 I would say day 1 is today as it’s the day it has started and you’ll be bleeding for almost 8 hours before tomorrow. But defo worth checking with the clinic.
My period had started on the afternoon of the first and that was my day one.

Just with the day 5 update on our side we made one 4AA and two are still waiting for maybe making it on day 6 she will give us a call later today or today.

We so grateful we just made one after our fertilisation disappointment so lesson for everyone you just never know what to expect and all is not lost
