@LT103 how are you getting on? Still having cramps?

I started bleeding today, AF is scheduled to start tomorrow so it's about what I expected. It's still very light and brown, so I'm now just crossing fingers the fresh bleed will hold off until tomorrow. You know, in all my scheming to make sure I got a new egg retrieval in before the clinic holidays, I never actually considered the possibility that my period would start early, so I now run the risk of the HCG shot not being out of my system in time for me to start meds (because the clinic won't let me start until the HCG is zero). I am losing my MIND this is so stressful. 😲

@SamTTC That's so hectic. Why can't it just go to plan?! Really hope it holds off and your plans will continue.

I'm bleeding again. Scan tomorrow again. Fed up doesn't really cover it

@AliceAbsolum are you serious I’m so sorry! Talk about it not just being able to go as planned!! Crossing everything that it’s all okay at the scan tomorrow. Bleeding is not necessarily a bad sign but that doesn’t mean it wont feel horribly concerning. Are you feeling okay otherwise? Let us know what they say ok?

Yeah I feel fine. No pain. But it just feels terrifying. I don't want to go to the scan. But what can you do.
I've tapered off my estrogen the last few days so maybe it's that but Google has nothing to say on that matter.

I had my follow up consultation with my doctor yesterday, they're gonna start buserelin earlier to try and deal with my adenomyosis and do some kind of check of my lining to rule out infection. He said about 65% of euploids implant and then only 7% miscarry so I was in that 7%.. always seem to be on the unlucky side of medical odds.

I'm still bleeding which is a pain as I should have really stopped by now, it's dragging out my recovery and might mean I still have some retained products.... hopefully it'll sort itself out soon. I'm still on the fence about trying again.

I'm sorry @SamTTC I hope the timing of everything works out.

I hope everything is ok @AliceAbsolum did they find any reason for the prior bleeding?

All is OK with the bean. Good heartrate and measuring bang on 11+4. My nerves however are not! I can't feel relieved and relaxed I just feel spat out and strung out.
Next scan is the proper 12 week scan on Wednesday.

@SamTTC how's the AF situation?

@Herewegoagain881 They never find the cause. I tapered off estrogen over those days so maybe it was that.
Euploids - I'm surprised at those numbers tbh. I thought the implantation rate would be much higher and MC much lower. This fertility business is a stats game. How there are 7 billion people in the world I don't know.
Good your clinic are changing things up. Is this your last embryo?

@AliceAbsolum so glad to hear all is well! Im sorry you're not able to relax, but take each day as it comes and I hope after your next scan things will get a bit easier for you!

I had my baseline scan this morning, start stims tomorrow! It's as scary and nerve wracking as last time and so anxious to get everything right 🤞🏻

@AliceAbsolum that's great news!!! Hopefully it was just the estrogen and keeping my fingers crossed for you that there's no more bleeding in this pregnancy!

No idea about the stats, ours is a day 6 euploid maybe that's why 🤷🏻‍♀️ There's also a 2% chance the genetic testing wasn't accurate. Yep we only have one left now and it's another day 6, so I am not holding out much hope tbh but a fairly big part of me will be relieved if it doesn't work now. We feel the need to try, but our lifestyle for the next 18 or so years will definitely be a lot easier with just the one! We're 40, and feeling it!

@AliceAbsolum i am so so so happy to hear that everything is okay and on track. I so wish you could enjoy this pregnancy more but you are such a warrior for enduring all of this uncertainty and fear. Was it nice to see everything on the scan?

AF is definitely here but it’s the most annoying start to a period ever. A full day and a half of very light brown spotting interspersed with very slowly increasing fresh blood, I thought for sure I’d have to call this cycle day 1 but I am not experiencing anything close to what I’d call a full flow yet, so I think technically tomorrow is day 1, even though I’m bleeding (lightly) now late afternoon. It’s still a bit confusing to me what counts as day 1. I have a terrible stomach ache too and cramps come and go.

I’m also in an absolutely foul mood but I think that’s just…the general hopeless hamster wheel feeling of being stuck with no implantation and having no idea how to help my body progress from this stage.

@AliceAbsolum I am so sorry to hear that you started bleeding again. Bleeding always causes so much anxiety. Luckily your scan showed baby was doing well, but it’s still frustrating that they can’t find a source of the bleed.

I luckily only bled the one day at 5w6d and after that I started taking things super easy. My 9 week scan showed the SCH had grown a bit, but I booked a private scan yesterday at 11+2 and everything looked good and she didn’t see the SCH. So hopefully it’s tiny tiny or gone.

im getting bloods tomorrow but been spotting last 2 days so I think I’m out.
what you’re describing is just my usual cycle..4 days of increasingly heavier spotting and never knowing when cd1 is 🙄
I always start spotting 10dpo but at least it held off til 13dpo this time

@LT103 I’m also having bloods tomorrow (otd isn’t until Friday but since I’m bleeding my clinic let me move it up), just crossing fingers it’s low enough…they had me retake it after my fresh transfer because the hcg level was 5, and they want it 4 or lower 🤦🏻‍♀️ It was obviously just the trigger. I think even though I’m bleeding a lot now, tomorrow must be the official day 1, because the proper bleed started so late in the day. That’s not how I would count it, but I’m not arguing… must be so frustrating for you though if your cycles are always like that, have they told you just to count the first day of spotting as the first day?

@SamTTC no I was always told spotting doesn’t count and day 1 is first day of full flow. But I’ve heard some people say if af starts after lunch then day 1 is following day so I have no idea!!

@LT103 saw on the other thread your line might have come back...? how was the blood test?

Spoke to the clinic this morning, I'm now having both the blood test and the scan on Thursday (she confirmed it would be considered CD3 even though I started bleeding fresh blood yesterday afternoon...so confusing!), ready to start if the HCG is low enough. So two more days of limbo.

I still have to order donor sperm today though, with the assumption I start stimming Thursday (and otherwise I guess they'll just save it for after the holidays). I had a pick all ready to go but when I went to the Cryos website I got him mixed up with another donor with a near-identical name and alias, and I was actually trying to decide between them when I noticed my original choice was sold out...so that made my decision for me!
A part of me feels like it doesn't matter, if it's really implantation that's my problem it won't work regardless of which donor I pick (and this will be the 5th I try), but I'm really really trying to stay optimistic about this new cycle...

I’m so confused and so was my nurse. I had a faint positive Friday/sat which had gone by Sunday so I figured that was injection.
started spotting sun morning, nothing in afternoon - negative test that day . Spotting fresh blood yest morning, stopped by lunchtime. Assumed af was coming as lots cramps last few days.
this morning, had fresh blood spotting again which has now stopped. Did a test this morning fully expecting it to be negative and got a line.

so now just waiting patiently on my phone call with blood results. Nurse said I may need to go back in 2-3 days to repeat sample if it is positive to make sure it’s rising.

im so stressed. No idea what’s going on.

@SamTTC soooo not much further forward. So my beta is 32 which is a low positive. To go back on Thursday for second beta but warned me that there is more chance of it falling at this stage than going up. They look for it to be over 70 at 10dp5dt so still just a waiting game. Spotting has stopped again for now at least.

@LT103 oh shoot so it’s likely a chemical? I’m so sorry. That is a frustrating situation, having to wait till Thursday now to be sure :( is this your first transfer?

@SamTTC I’m not sure. Googling like mad (obviously) and lots of stories where it’s been fine but I guess she’s saying more chance it won’t be so I need to be realistic.
yeah this was my first transfer. We had collection in March and had to do a freeze all. We have 6 more in freezer thankfully so if it hadn’t worked we can try again

Todays line is a little darker so I’m just crossing everything that tomorrows bloods have doubled!!! Obviously being realistic since they said there is more chance of it not working

@LT103 that's great the line is getting darker, keeping my fingers crossed for you! How many days post transfer are you? Maybe you had a late implanter if the positive test is showing up later than expected 🤞

@Herewegoagain881 im 11dp5dt. My clinic sent info through saying if hcg is over 30 but less than 70 when checked then 70% chance won’t take and will end in chemical. But then my first sheet at FET said would check between 10 and 12 dpt so hoping it’s a late implanter and will be over 70 by tomorrow.
still having period cramps (been 5 days now) and spotting since Sunday though only in morning when I’ve been to bathroom and then nothing after rest of day. It’s so strange
