Anyone out there currently going through IVF, start my stims in a couple of days. Had my down reg scan today and I have 4 follicles on my left and 5 on my right, wasn't sure if this was good or not, I've just turned 40 as this is my first cycle.

@Elle147 haha me too! So hungry all of the time! I'm just eating whatever I feel like tbh, not putting pressure on myself!

@flowersinmay I’ve been the same to be honest. It was enough for me cutting caffeine out because I normally survive solely on caffeine! 😅 I’ve literally just finished a dominos pizza, oops!

Well guess who caved and did a test? Promised myself I wouldn’t! I blame the OH, he suggested I did as I’ve been unwell all day!

So, it’s come back positive BUT I’m massively cautious that this could be my trigger still so I don’t feel exciting, more nervous and ready to be disappointed! Why do we do this to ourselves?

Eeeeek @Elle147 this is very exciting!!!!!! Really really hope it stays positive for you 🤞🤞🤞🤞 when will you know for sure? I guess the worry and uncertainty never stops for all us IVFers!

I'm fine thanks - feeling bloated and a bit grumpy .. prepping my stomach for another needle tonight - Urgh! Tomorrow another scan, will know when my EC is - probably Thursday jf all goes well. Hope everyone is doing ok too! Xox

@flowersinmay I think I may do another test in the morn to see what that’s like & then leave it until my OTD on Friday and then ring the clinic! I didn’t hold my wee for long & it’s quite a strong line that’s come up! I can only keep my fingers crossed, I’ve never seen at BFP in the 5 years we have been trying!

Ah bless you, those injections feel never ending don’t they! It’s great once you have a date for EC though as that gives you something to focus on! Hoping your scan goes well, keep us updated!

@flowersinmay I will do! I’ve had period type cramps for days now, terrified that my period will just appear!

I doubt it's your trigger as it's been 13 days now hasn't it? Especially if the line is quite strong. Let us know how it progresses tomorrow xxxx

6dp5dt today so still early. Feeling excited but nervous too. I had three chemicals last year so really hoping this one sticks 🤞🤞

So I’ve tested again this morning and it’s progressing well I think! Top one is yesterday & bottom is this morning! Still can’t get excited yet though, I think after years of never having a BFP I find it so hard to believe I could actually be pregnant!

@flowersinmay good luck for your scan today. Is this your first scan? I’ve been so crampy and uncomfortable yesterday and today I’m hoping they say they’re happy for me to trigger and get this over and done with!! 😭

I know exactly how you're feeling. Even though we were really lucky to somehow naturally conceive our little one who is almost 4, ever since she was just over 1 we've been trying for number 2. Then only once I was put on progesterone last summer did we get some positives which ended up being three chemicals in four months. So this leaves me feeling very nervous.
But hopefully this our time, and your time too. I really hoping this thread is going to be a really happy one xxx

@Emmyanddreams I’m keeping my fingers crossed for us all! Do you think you will test everyday now? I think it will be hard not to! 😅 I can’t wait for Friday to come round for OTD!

Does your clinic do a blood test if you test positive? Ours just books you in for a scan 2-3 weeks later but I feel like a blood test would be reassuring.

@Emmyanddreams I think mines the same with just a scan, they told me to test Friday and give them a ring. What clinic are you with if you don’t mind me asking? I might just ask about a blood test for reassurance!

@Elle147 I have to test on Saturday and then give them a call. We're with BCRM.
I think we could probably pay for additional blood tests, £50 a test I believe. I think the important thing is seeing if HCG is doubling every 48 hours.

@Emmyanddreams I think a blood test would really help. I’m worrying, I have period cramps that I always get. Just expecting to go the loo and that my period has arrived, I really hope not!
