Anyone out there currently going through IVF, start my stims in a couple of days. Had my down reg scan today and I have 4 follicles on my left and 5 on my right, wasn't sure if this was good or not, I've just turned 40 as this is my first cycle.

@Elle147 don't panic. Cramps are really common. As long as it's not really painful.
One thing I do remember when I found out I was pregnant with my little one was period like cramps. I was really expecting my period to start and was shocked when I had a positive test.

@Emmyanddreams Ah thank you. It’s all completely new to me so no idea what’s normal and what’s not! I’ll no doubt worry myself sick for the next few weeks!

Let’s hope this week is as busy as last week so Friday arrives sooner :)

Had my first scan today. Around 33 follicles of various sizes but around 16 at the 8-16mm size. Couple already bigger that will probably be lost. I have to trigger tomorrow for collection on Thursday. Just hoping we get enough to the right size for some little eggs 🤞🤞

@LT103 Wow that’s a great number! I’m sure you’ll be getting some eggs from those! How exciting for you!

I also had my second scan today, I've got 8 follicles in total - mostly around 18-22mm. I just really hope I can get one or two decent eggs from them.. 😬🤞 I also have my EC on Thursday, whoop! Nervous. But excited!

So I’m currently feeling like I regret testing early because now I’m filled with worry that it won’t last / stick and I’ll just be disappointed. I think after 5 years of nothing it’s so hard to believe I could even be pregnant. Every twinge or pain is worrying me and I’d love to ring the clinic tomorrow for reassurance but then I’ll be told off for testing early! We don’t half for through it do we ladies!

Awww @Elle147 I don't know what to say, it's so bloody tough, really hoping it sticks for you, and for all of us of course. I really hope your clinic can give you some assurance soon. 🌸🍀🤞 we all just need a time machine dont we? Not to go through this rollercoaster of emotions and skip to the good part..! @Elle147 awww hun, it's so hard isn't it. However you are pregnant and that's a step closer than you've been so it's a positive thing. It shows you definitely can get pregnant. I know it's a scary time, I feel the same. Me telling you about my experiences probably hasn't helped, I'm sorry.
You should give the clinic a call. You won't be the first person they have spoken to who has tested early, and if they tell you off, which I'm sure they won't, don't worry. But they might be able to offer blood tests at an additional cost and that might give you some reassurance.
Try and stay positive, your lines are progressing really well. When I looked back at my lines from when I had my chemicals, they never got as dark as the lines you have, or even the lines I currently have so I'm taking that as a positive sign xxxx

@Emmyanddreams Ah no, please don’t say sorry. I think no matter what I will worry! I’ve not been too bad today, the pains subsided. I’ve got a raging cold though thanks to the OH so I think I’ve been more focused on that today! 😅 How are you feeling?

@Elle147 I'm glad you've been a bit better today, except for the cold.
I've tested positive for covid today so I've been feeling extra tired. Early to bed tonight I think! xx

@Emmyanddreams Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that! Definitely get yourself in bed early! That’s my plan too. I think I might have some time off work soon, it’s absolute chaos and I’m feeling really stressed and it’s just the last thing I need right now!

I've just had the worst news - despite being super careful the last two weeks I've now also managed to test positive for Covid which means no egg collection for me tomorrow and I can only start my next cycle in May. I'm absolutely gutted 😭 wishing all you ladies the best of luck 🌸🍀

I was expecting to get a pcr at my scan like everyone else has but my clinic literally haven’t mentioned covid once and I’m in for collection tomorrow 🤷🏻‍♀️
I will do a lat flow just in case they ask but I’ve been nowhere in last week

I’m 10dp5dt and reading 2-3 weeks on a clear blue. OTD is tomorrow and I’m itching to ring the clinic! For the past few days I’ve had really bad nausea which I’m not sure if that’s from the Progesterone or pregnancy itself - but I would assume maybe a little too early for that? Every little pinch and pull makes me worry! Just been telling the OH that they have it so bloody easy in all of this don’t they? 😅

@Elle147 oooh I also tested with a digital today and got 2-3 weeks. I was so pleased. I'm 9dp5dt today.
I'm actually thinking about calling the clinic today even though my OTD isn't until Saturday. I just want some reassurance that I'm on a high enough dose of progesterone as I've had three chemicals. I'm sure I'm just being paranoid. I mean with the chemicals I never managed to get a 2-3 weeks on a Clearblue test, only 1-2 weeks.
It's not too early to have nausea if your HCG levels are rising nicely. The fact that your lines have always been lovely and dark, it's quite likely to be HCG that's causing you to feel like that.
I feel rough but because I have covid I have no idea whether it's that or pregnancy!
