So I thought I would start a new thread as we reached 1k comments so can't post!!! @chloedancer897 @Luna1108 sorry will try tag others !
anyway my app says af in 4 days I'm so emotional today! Over thinking even thinking is it right for my and partner to go forward together! I know I could test but I'm just not mentally prepared too 😢

Hi ladies. I've been following along but been quiet because I'm silently freaking out lol, just done my first round of clomid but I don't think it worked! I had two dominant follicles on CD12 but never got my peak opk so feeling deflated. CD21 bloods tomorrow, so nervous! Hope you're all ok x

@xoJellyBean hey hope your doing ok. What size where you follicles you might have missed the peak. I've heard of that happening. I've found tracking bbt reliable for confirming ov. Xx

@J90A of course I was that past myself I can't remember but she predicted ovulation 3-4 days after that. Hope youre right and I just missed my peak ☺️ I usually temp but my sleep has been the worst and they're not accurate at all 🤣 good luck for your tww xx

@xoJellyBean I've just done a few days this month and it was up this morning. I got obsessed with it before was waking up in the night and taking my temperate with one time my phone charger cable in my mouth 🤦‍♀️ so I've stopped it now just done 3 days this month. Thank you! What cd are you now. Xx

@xoJellyBean that's what happened my first cycle, I had a 60 day cycle but each one has got a bit better. Hopefully that won't be the case for you, you may have just missed it like @J90A said xx

@J90A thank you! Get my results this afternoon. I've had cramping since yesterday so I hope this ain't ovulation now 🤣 I'll have missed it! You've actually made me laugh out loud with the phone charger 🤣 Xx

@xoJellyBean how did you get on?
I'm CD20 tor heavy boobs but I always get that so not holding out much hope!! I'm going to test on Tuesday with a Frer I will be 8/9dpo only but I have my fertility appt that day so though I might as well use the one I have here. Xx

@J90A my bloods came back as ZEROOO progesterone 🙃💔 contacting my clinic tomorrow, I hope I have ovulated and the test was too early 😭 eeek good luck for your testing this week 🤞🏻 xx

@xoJellyBean my cycle 1 and 2 ovulation was way out by their dates so I got one result of 8 and one of 2 🤣 this one however turned out ok and it's 60! So month three I've ovulated on time at least

@xojellybean bummer, sorry if you didn't ovulate/ovulate yet. Hopefully they'll pop you on a stronger dose for the 2nd cycle.

I had my follow up appointment with the consultant and we discussed my path to IVF. My OH and I have a BMI check at the clinic next week then our paperwork will be posted to us. Application should take 4-6 weeks. Our next appointment will be at the clinic with a nurse who will talk me through the protocol and how to inject myself etc. Then it will be waiting for my next period to start the meds.

Based on my high AMH levels it's likely I would be on short protocol. She predicts egg collection to be in June, starting meds in May.

In the meantime I'm on CD11 of my 6th and last Clomid cycle. Ovulation hopefully this coming weekend whilst OH and I are on a mini break to Wales 😆

@Kay00 sounds like it's all good for you!!

@Jellysweet sorry you didn't ovulate! How did you get on with your contacting the clinic?

@Kay00 that's good how you feeling about it all? I had my appointment yesterday and I've been added to the ivf waiting list. They said it's around 7 months long which is better than I expected as it used to be 12 months.
I'm also cycle 6 I'm getting another 6 months of clomid but he did say he thinks it's should have worked by now 🤷‍♀️

I tested yesterday BFN I was on toy 8/9dpo but I'm not holding out much hope anyway!

@J90A I spoke to the correct secretary this morning who said I don't need an appointment for the prescription and she will try and sort that so it's emailed to surgery instead! But if he insists on giving me an appointment for the prescription she will try squeeze me in asap. Also said it was a complete mistake with the maxillo facial appointment that had been given in error and she will sort it all out and call me back 🙄😂
Good news they're giving you more clomid, at least you don't have to sit around feeling like you're doing nothing until ivf xx

@J90A Interesting you have been given more Clomid... I would definitely prefer this if my waiting list was 6/7 months long. Hopefully its less of a wait than that for you. My consultant predicted I will have egg collection in June, so would start drugs in May, she said there was basically no waiting list down here in Devon. But I haven't even applied for the funding yet, so I need to get a move on!

@Marvellouslymadmum what a nightmare hope you get it sorted.

@Kay00 yeah I did ask if he expected it to have worked by now and he said yeah and said it used to be used for 6 months only I can't remember the reasons. But as im responding to it they can give it up to 12 months now.

Today my boobs are so sore but I was at the gym on Tuesday its probably going to be that isn't it lol. Xx

I ovulated on Sunday 27th, so I'm 3DPO and not feeling particularly hopeful this cycle.

I have started a big health kick to get a bit fitter and a bit slimmer before I start IVF in a few months time... that will be my new focus.

I've been terrible today I called to get my next clomid prescription yesterday and book my scan and the nurse told as I was on the ivf list I couldn't get anymore clomid but she would check with the dr who's not back till Thursday. I said he definitely said that could and could she ask about letrozole for me.
I've been crying all day. Then she phoned back today and says i was to get more clomid and I am getting leterzole as I asked but now I'm worried I was ovulating ok clomid and now I might not on this. I also won't be getting scans. I'm worried I've made the decision rather than the dr advising me Xx

@J90A I have heard of plenty of women to tried Clomid, fail to get pregnant, then tried Letrozole and it did the trick. I don't want to get your hopes up, I just want to say that I think you will likely ovulate, and moving to Letrozole is unlikely to cause any harm. I'm sorry you have been so upset about it . Its good to know you are on the IVF waiting list x

@J90A I agree, letrozole and clomid are very similar and sometimes one works for one person and the other for someone else.

Finally got everything sorted my end currently cd8 no side effects on the 100mg so far

@Marvellouslymadmum @Kay00 thank you both ❤️ I feel better now I think it was the wait in between finding out what was happing. See what happens with this one.
