So I thought I would start a new thread as we reached 1k comments so can't post!!! @chloedancer897 @Luna1108 sorry will try tag others !
anyway my app says af in 4 days I'm so emotional today! Over thinking even thinking is it right for my and partner to go forward together! I know I could test but I'm just not mentally prepared too 😢

@J90A I think if she decides to put it up she will put me on 100mg she may give me one scan the first month again like with the 50mg I suppose! Xx

@Kay00 I had similar this month, which is totally unusual for me and took the clomid from the second day of something there every time I wiped which seems like it was the right decision as it's quicker ov than last time and it never got to normal

@Marvellouslymadmum yeah that's what I got this month and last month just the one scan.

@Kay00 oh thats strange. Sorry I've never had that just spotting before. But then heavy after. Maybe call the clinic for some advice? X

@J90A they gave me one scan on month one of 50mg so who knows! Xx

@Marvellouslymadmum yeah I think that's all they need I get my bloods done on Monday of i ovulate this will be my second last cycle . Xx

@J90A it's funny as the people I've talked with that have gone private had 2-3 scans per cycle most of the time!

@Marvellouslymadmum that's the difference from the nhs and private 😂 if you pay you get everything possible lol. Xx

@J90A yes definitely! Though you could say they're being elaborate with the scans because you have to pay for each one!

Hi ladies, how are you getting on? I'm on CD4 of my 5th cycle and I just got a letter from the clinic about my follow up appointment, which will be on the 15th Feb.

@Kay00 I'm cd25 of cycle two on clomid, think I ovulated cd22 had the bloods taken on cd21 and the results were unsurprisingly 4.2, I have a follow up call booked for 24th January as I should've done three cycles by then but haven't as they've been so long!

Hey. I'm CD15 today had ovulation pains since yesterday and a positive opk yesterday (pic attached) darkest I've had I think? so think today I will ovulate? Never know if the pains are before after or during!
In on Monday to get my bloods done. I'm on cycle 7 now. I think I might have one more round after this and my next appt with the dr is April. Xx

@J90A that opk looks good! I always think of it as a 3 day window as pains and positive opk can mean you ovulate anytime in the next 48 hours, so 🤞🏻 for you! Xx

@Marvellouslymadmum we bd on the am and pm of that opk (Thursday) and that was it. Will again tonight. God knows if it will be enough. Xx

@J90A who knows! I think it's impossible to tell as you never know actual ov day plays some people say every other day some say every day some say twice a day 🤷🏼‍♀️ xx

@Marvellouslymadmum so defo ovulated Friday or Saturday. My temp has gone up. I'm just at the point now where if it doesn't happen then it wasn't meant to be and letting fate take its course. Some people be once out the whole month and fall so you never know id it's the timing or other factors. Xx

@J90A that's it, it's just an impossible thing to know if you're doing everything right and it's just not happening or if something is off! Xx

@Marvellouslymadmum yeah the professor doing my scan last week said it's like rolling a dice a healthy couple only has a 1in 5 chance each month.

I was reading and when if the sperm and egg meet there is so many other things that need to happen to it to become a pregnancy. . Xx

Had my bloods down yesterday and it confirmed ovulation. So see what happens. Not holding my breath lol. Not doing any tests this month or bbt trying not to even think about it lol. Xxx

@J90A good luck! I'm about 7/8dpo I never test unless I'm late I think I've given up all hope these days! Xx

Good luck to you both @J90A and @Marvellouslymadmum !! I'm CD10 I think, so gearing up to ovulate on Monday/Tuesday hopefully.

I also bought myself a pair of trainers yesterday (my old ones fell apart). I plan to start running again and to cut down on the fat, sugar and calories. Hopefully I'll start to feel better in myself as I finish my last 1.5 cycles of Clomid and head towards IVF

@Kay00 I've started the couch to 5k I'm on week 2 and quite liking it. I need to get my bmi to 30 for ivf. I've lost a stone got one more to go until my bmi is 30 then a further one stone to get to my pre Covid weight 🤦‍♀️. I feel better mentally from it too. I also have 1 cycle after this one! I have a clinic appt in March to find out what to do next. One of the nurses mentioned I could go on injections maybe before ivf. Which I'm hoping

to do, especially if my bmi is not quite there.

My mind has been wandering a bit today about being 6dpo I need to focus on that I will be getting a period and not have any hope to stay sane!! lol. Xx

@Kay00 🤞🏻 for ovulation! I've done rubbish on the healthier me front so far but I have found an interesting class I'd like to join so hoping to start that next week.

@J90A im usually really good at not getting my hopes up - almost four years ttc has done it to me! But, this month I'm struggling with it, the fact the clomid definitely brought on strong ovulation even if it was still a week late has meant I've been symptom spotting like a trooper 🤦🏼‍♀️
I too have one more cycle of clomid, but it'll be my third so I'm hoping the consultant will up the dose when I speak to her on Monday 🤞🏻 xx

@Marvellouslymadmum it does doesn't it. I'm just enjoying not being to fussed this month coz last month was a killer. I got my appointment letter today ands end of feb so sooner than I thought! Xx
